Have been involved with Online Trading now for about 1 year...This has been a great experience. The Instructors and Support system have been extremely helpful, and always willing to go out of their way to assist. The office personnel are top notch! They truly want to see their students succeed. Being able to retake asset classes when you feel you need them, and the online classes and support is incredible. If you want to learn trading the right way...OTA is the ticket!

Online Trading Academy has been a great learning experience. Their instructors and facilities are top notch. Being retired, I found that you can only play so many hours of golf...After attending Online Trading Academy, I was very pleased that I was able to learn and apply a new skill set that can produce an income for years to come. The best part of my journey is that the people at Online Trading Academy are always there and willing to answer questions and give me support. I am very thankful that I found them and would highly recommend this school. Only thing that I wish I could change is that I wish I had found them earlier! Taking the forex class with Scot Stokes. He is a great instructor who is extremely knowledgeable. Great communication skills and an ability to use real world situations to get through to the inexperienced trader.

It’s just scam. Please don’t even think about it. You will lose your money like never before. Thousands of dollars for something that you can find in the internet or some good books almost free. They will cheat you with some words like “you can trade with us”. They mean that they will give you some numbers to get in or get out of the markets. But, it will never happen. After a year spending my time in the market, I have found that it’s just illegal if they want to do that. So, don’t think about market and day trading if you think you can be a day trader within a year or with Online trading academy. I’m not saying that their methods are wrong or scam, No! What I’m saying is that you can find this information very cheap in books. If I could have another chance to start again with them, I would just pay them a $1000 instead of $20000.So expensive and using fraud words to take your money out of your packets. Be careful my friends.

I attended a couple of introductory presentations and was curious. The first presentation was informative, but the second compelled me to take action. Great teachers who are passionate about giving clear and honest information about empowering individuals. I feel quite Blessed for this opportunity to grow and learn in my profession.

I really recommend it. loved the time and effort everybody puts to make you understand and success. After I took the course more than 6 months ago I will say this is the best investment I have done, this works, wont happen in one day but with discipline and patience you will get there.

I spent 15 years in the retirement world and was amazed on how much I learned. I have enrolled some of the classes. the classes are challenging however if you follow the system it works. the support after the fact has been outstanding. They are not selling a pipe dream it does require work. you will not be a pro in a week however the resources the have within the community are outstanding. this is a program which I will enroll my children to give them a skill which will last them there life time. I only wish I did this earlier!!!!!!!

I really like the support that they offer to students - youre not just cast into the ether after your class is over. Ive gotten post-class help from them several times. However, it seems to be up to you to make the connection with the center. When I contact them, the response is immediate and supportive. However, my coach has changed and Ive never met him, never had a session with him, did not even get an introductory email. I found out my old coach had left by sending an email to them and getting a reply from someone else (NOT my new coach). So you do need to be proactive in keeping in contact despite the turnover, which Ive found is really hard from a distance. Other than that, I really do feel that it is a worthwhile program; they will help when you reach out. YOU just have to reach out, and keep reaching out if you get a response that doesnt help you.

My husband and I signed up as students at OTA/Charlotte in November 2016. We were excited to begin learning the skills necessary to enter the trading community. As we entered the Academy each morning we were warmly greeted by staff members who offered us a welcoming cup of coffee or juice along with a fresh bagel etc. for those of us who had rushed to get there without breakfast. Entering our classrooms, we were pleased to find that every student was comfortably seated with their own computer. The information was well organized and presented by seasoned traders who successfully use the plan they are teaching. Quality manuals and power-point presentations helped us understand the principles. Real-time trades were initiated as a class followed by plenty of time for each of us to place our own trades while the instructors and student support staff made themselves available for individual assistance. Best of all, the learning has just begun when the classes are completed!! OTA offers a wide range of ongoing education with the goal of helping the graduates hone their skills and stay updated with market changes. The follow-up and assistance after class could be better, but the classes definitely make things simple and understandable. I personally selected OTA for the option of sitting in a physical classroom and being able to repeat courses as needed. The energy gained from being in the classroom environment with motivated and eager to learn traders is one of a kind. The price is hefty so I would suggest taking this option when you truly have time to concentrate on learning to trade. Overall, I have had a good experience with OTA and would definitely recommend it to people who have absolutely no experience with trading as well as those who would just like to sharpen up their skills!

Just finished up a forex class at the Charlotte campus, what a great experience with a wonderful group of people, both staff and students.

There are not many financial education schools available, this has been a Great Journey for us as we start our 5th class now.The instructors and staff have been very helpful answering any and all of our questions if you know me personally, thats a challenge of its own!My husband is now looking to change his career and help others manage their own money. Donna, Sang & Kevin are wonderful at their jobs & very accommodating! We have taken several classes & have learned a great deal. I have not been in a classroom setting for decades but the OTA instructors were very patient with me! I have taken similar classes before but the OTA is by far the best!

I have enjoyed all the classes that I have had (and all three instructors). the instructors are excellent and take time to answer any question that you have. I knew nothing when I started and have learned a lot. I know that I will continue to learn but with OTA staff and the student community, as well as all the resources that OTA offers, it will be enjoyable and informative. Cant wait to get started at home on the simulator and on to trading.

Free half day online trading course... lol more like free half day sales pitchInstructor is a GREAT salesperson. He was born for this. He touches base on some topics that will be supposedly covered in the three day course (only $299 after $701 discount). Then it seems like this three day course is to kinda teach you about trading. Then you need to pay more for the next level of learning. BBB says their financial consultants are not license. Its a business. Not an actual academy. The goal of a business is to make money. Lots of it. This is how they do it. Almost everyone today signed up for the $299 three day course. I didnt sign up for it. The front desk lady asked me if I want to sign up. I said no. She started being rude and it felt like she was rushing me out.Anyways... if you want to learn to trade. Whatcha YouTube videos. Google the info. I even saw $20 trading classes offered on Groupon. $20 is deffinately less than $299 (even with $701 discount)

When I first came to OTA I didnt really know much at all about trading. Now a few years later and a lot of studying after going through ProTrader and the Futures classes Ive been able to gain a very significant & serviceable understanding to be able to know how and why the markets move and how to profit and protect my money in the process! There are many great and wonderful people as well as instructors at the Online Trading Academy but I would have to say above and beyond my favorite instructor Ive had the pleasure of meeting no slight to anyone else has been Robert(Bob) Dunn, a Futures trading instructor who took my understanding to a different level about the momentum of the markets and how to Ride the wave as he says! If you ever have a chance you should definitely pick his brain he is an amazing trader and extremely knowledgeable and kind about how he teaches and interacts with his students(BOB DUNN FOR PRESIDENT)!!!!!! Definitely would not be where I am without the school and the people that run everything and make it all happen!I definitely would suggest checking out OTA whether you are a day 1 newbie or ya have been in the game for a while. I began as a student in 2010 at the Charlotte, NC Online Trading Academy center having had 5 years of trading experience prior to this. I came in with a lot of bad habits and a novice trading style but when I heard Sam Seiden, Eric Ochotnicki, and John ODonnell present during a full-day session, I was blown away by the supply & demand approach they taught (which made a lot of sense because everyone knows the banks and institutions run the markets, they just dont know how). Once I really learned how to protect the money going out of my account (taking small losses) and not worry about the money flowing into my account (letting winners run to my targets) I started to become consistently profitable in my trading. The experience has been world-class and I have a reference point since I have attended many other trading education seminars before becoming an OTA student. What is different is the wide array of instructors who are all professional traders with backgrounds as floor traders, hedge fund managers, or former students themselves. The staff is always welcoming and the energy level is contagious which was a confidence booster every time I re-took the courses at the OTA center. In 2012 the opportunity opened up to work at Online Trading Academy in New York and I jumped at this because I love the environment and helping others become successful just as I have become. I have been the Student Support specialist for over 4 years now and I can say that it is a rewarding experience helping others become successful while at the same time reaching my personal goals in my trading. I would recommend Online Trading Academy to anyone that is serious about becoming consistently profitable, has the work ethic, commitment, and coach-ability to do this. Trading is not for everyone, some just want to be better informed about what their advisors are doing with their money or other students want to just invest their money without doing any short term trading which is fine. In my 12+ years of trading experience, there is something for everyone to learn and improve your financial future if you are willing to learn, disciplined to follow a process, and let time do its job in the learning equation. I wish I could give them a half-star. Spent $300 to go down to Charlotte for a weekend to learn something about trading. Instead they talked for a day and a half about other classes they offer for thousands of dollars. I left feeling like I had been taken advantage of. Those of you that know me understand that I am not the type of person to go into something with a closed mind. I also enjoy class of just about any kind. But this is a total scam people. Save yourself some time and money and stick to the fundamentals of trading. There is a time and a place for technical analysis, which is what they claim to teach, but this stunk of rat. I then attempted to have my money returned through AMEX. Turns out they told AMEX that I was inattentive and preoccupied with a personal matter and only attended one day. A fabrication in the worst way and truly indicative of their true nature. I turned my phone off and brought only the materials they mentioned. I always give 100% of my attention to a professor. After all, I am the one spending the time and the money. And I showed up for day 2 thinking things would pick up. I left at lunch after the one-on-one coaching session that should have been called a one-on-one sales pitch. Stay clear from this group. They are predacious.

I am completing my first year of training and trading at OTA Charlotte and could not be more supportive or complimentary of OTA and the Charlotte (Carolinas) office. Why?First, Online Trading Academy is a true global community of instructors and students who work together as a team to make money in the markets. Although we each trade our individual accounts, we jointly celebrate our successes - even if its a $100 trade.The live classes are a week-long in-depth study of how the financial markets work and emphasize OTAs patented methods for identifying opportunities and limiting risk. The tuition includes lifetime retakes and I have taken many asset classes several times. Not because the first time were failures, but because I wanted to tweak parts of my trading plan once I began trading on my own.Second, in between the live-classes there are dozens of webinars throughout the week where we trade live with an instructor. It is up to us to decide to take a trade during these sessions, but regardless, we learn why particular trades were attractive.Third, the OTA system is not about making a killing in the markets but to learn lifetime skills that will produce real profits for any type of goals: daily income or long-term wealth.As for me, what have I done with the education? I have done extremely well. I paid off my tuition and car loans all within the first six months of trading. My results are not typical, but positive trading is possible if you learn the material and apply it appropriately. All it takes is resolve to put the time into it. Thats it.Please know that before signing up for OTA, I scoured the internet for reviews and the only ones I saw were those who were critical of OTA but only just after the weekend preview. The weekend class is a sales pitch, but you need to decide if the concepts make sense. They did to me and I have made money in the markets. There isnt one negative review Ive been able to find from an actual student who has taken classes. That should tell you a great deal about the value you receive for your tuition investment.Finally, I can not say enough about the support and staff of the Charlotte office. The students are treated like family and I look forward to coming to the Center each time I take a class.
