My son is in his third year and I am very happy with Bailey Middle School. The teachers and staff are smart and professional. The curriculum is challenging and I feel that my son will be well prepared for high school. There are many extracurricular opportunities. Principal Thomas is caring, friendly and the students know he has high expectations for them. Yes, there are more kids per class than a private school but the students learn to be independent and responsible. Isnt that what we want for them? On to Hough next year and we are excited!

Its OK, some teachers are nice and some are really strict. Some kids are academic and some are just there for fun, dont take school seriously, and are disrespectful to other kids. The staff is 75/25. Your kids might love or hate this school but I say its an OK school.

I go to Bailey middle and I absolutely love it so much. Yeah they give a lot of homework but I am thankful to be learning!!😊

If I had to choose between jumping into a feral, disgusting dumpster fire or going to this school, I would choose the dumpster fire. At least the dumpster is warm towards racial minorities.

Unfortunately my child had a horrible experience because a member of the administration had an issue with me. She would question my child of my relationship status, whether or not I receive child support, and whether I drink. My child did not inform me of any of this until two weeks before school ended. I chose not to address the situation but instead be thankful it was at the end of the year and that we would get a fresh start when she went to high school. This is a decision I regret to this day. However being an outsider, not knowing anyone in this area and seeing that she had a lengthy record of excellence at the school I did not think we would be taken seriously. Whether or not that wouldve happened is non issue. The important thing would be to show my child that we stand up for what we know is right regardless of who it is or what the circumstances are. Being a veteran you would think that would have been a no-brainer for me.
