A+ summer camp. A+ karate program. My son goes to the karate program and the summer camp. for summer camp: great hours from 730am to 6pm. great price. kids are safe there and have fun. kids learn good manners, how to make good moral choices, and get good exercise during the day. My son comes home happy from karate camp and tells me the fun activities he got to do during the day.

My daughter trained here for 2-3 years, loved every minute of it! Excellent dojo and excellent sensei!

VERY IMPRESSIVE!!! Not only does my young daughter have fun every time shes at class, she is learning how to avoid being kidnapped and defend herself against a possible bad situation. She is learning the difference between a serious situation and a bullying situation, and she is learning how to react accordingly. . . all while having fun!!I have noticed that there is a true sense of family at this facility. Everyone is very welcoming, friendly, and easy to be around. Theres no place my little one and I would rather be. My little one was constantly bullied from Pre-K to Kinder and with the skills that they have acquired & practiced at home from the instructors has been phenomenal.Months later, our daughter still uses her martial arts techniques at home for practice and talks about what shes learned with her new friends miles away from this place. She remembers forming bounds and growing daily. This place has impacted our daughter deeply and after being done for almost 5 months she still talks this place up and remembers her responsibilities and respect.

Being a part of this Martial Arts Academy is by far one of the most amazing experiences Ive had. It is so nice to know that Corpus Christi has such a place where families can learn the art of Kung Fu together. Not only are they family oriented but they teach several styles of martial arts to all ages. The atmosphere there is very inviting and they have different kinds of events for adults and kids. The staff and teachers are very friendly and helpful and the packages are affordable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to learn or improve their martial arts skills.

Been a student here since January 2015 and have enjoyed every day there since. With the master offering tai chi, krav maga, kung fu, karate and japanese jiu-jitsu, theres always something for both newcomers and senior students to work on.Above all else, the children really enjoy their time there coming with plenty of energy and leaving with a smile on everyones face.I highly recommend everyone at the very least give our dojo a look.

I was a serious martial arts student when I was a much younger man, and recently decided to return to training after a nearly 25 year hiatus. After visiting nearly every martial arts school of every style that I could find in the Corpus Christi area I chose Corpus Christi Family Martial Arts Academy. The style and techniques that are taught are both practical and relevant, and are taught with the students skill and maturity level always as a forethought of the lessons. The thing that has impressed the most about the dojo, and continues to do so, is the real feeling of community and genuine family. Starting with the first contact with Grandmaster Timmerman and continuing with every interaction I have had with all the students, Sensei Green and Sensei Nick, and parents of students has been truly respectful and honestly pleasant. Home away from home is more than a slogan, it is what this dojo is honestly striving toward and making strides at achieving.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!I enrolled my son in Corpus Christi Family Martial Arts Academy and have been extremely impressed with their system. They teach a powerful blend of Karate, Kung Fu, Jiu Jitsu, Nin Jitsu, Krav Maga, and other martial arts styles. The instructors are highly skilled not only in practicing martial arts themselves but also in teaching others of all ages effectively. They do not submit to the one size fits all theory of teaching. The instructors are perceptive in finding students strengths and using those strengths to help train them.After watching my son for a few months I joined too! I have prior experience with Tae Kwon Do (although, it never felt effective to me). I have scouted multiple other martial arts groups in Corpus Christi and I believe Corpus Christi Family Martial Art Academy is the best in town! Being a petite woman I am confident that the techniques I am learning could one day save me.
