I went to Smith elementary when I was a little girl and I loved my school. My son and daughter attended Smith. And now my grandaughter attends Smith. She is 3rd grade. I love this school so much. The energy that dwells in that building is of love, being servants, and care. I thank God for the amazing staff. God bless Smith and all who are a part of it.

Still remember this school vividly. Went here in 2000. I loved my teacher and friends. Pretty quiet school but very structured .

My daughter is in 3rd Grade. We came from another local school district that is highly regarded. I myself went to CCISD and I never liked their policies (in particular the Performance Standard tests) BUT I love this school. My daughters teachers are fantastic. Shes always been very smart and got bored in school because for the last two years her teachers have let her be invisible while they tended to the children in need of help instead of challenging the smart ones (couldnt they do both?) Shes challenged here! Its hard to explain the major difference I see in her with all the whys but Put simply, no child is left behind here. All students (from what Ive seen) are treated equally, genuinely cared for and not just taken care of, and all staff make an effort to know parents and be involved as if you are the only parent and student in the school. Ive seen and heard of people paying to go to the school district we came from and to be honest you couldnt pay ME to leave Smith Elementary.
