Laudette Delmar Randall is an amazing music teacher. I originally saw her teaching children piano on Facebook and noticed her on point teaching techniques. She customizes her teaching to her students and their level of knowledge. Once my daughter showed interest in piano I already knew who to contact. Once I met with her I found out that she didnt just teach piano but also voice, Theory, etc. My daughter started lessons once a week. A couple months later my son also wanted to join after seeing that his sister was learning so much and having fun. I also had a great love for singing and decided to take voice to keep up with my techniques and voice training. She is very flexible with her schedule as well. I feel so blessed to have found her. She really goes above and beyond to do whatever her students need. I am so thankful to her that she brought music back into my life as well. I had given up on my music for a while always putting my children first. But she has helped me to realize that I have a gift from God and thatI need to use it. She has been supportive from the start.

My name is Luke De Los Angeles. I have not been a student of Laudette for about 2 years now but the impact that she has had on, not only my journey as a musician, but my life is far too great not to speak about. I began with her when I was just 5 years old, wanting to improve upon my natural gift of singing. She immediately got to work, tweaking and adjusting my vocal technique while still maintaining my tone, the part of your voice that makes each singer unique from one another. That’s one of the major takeaways I had from her: BE UNIQUE, BE YOU. There was never a time when I chose a song to sing for a recital that she tried to implicate any of the original artists’ habits or techniques upon me. She always wants each and everyone one of her students to be themselves, in a space of SELF creativity. I then proceeded to begin piano lessons with her at 6, which, to be frank, I was never as good at as singing, but my knowledge of music theory from those lessons has paid dividends compared to my peers. Note and rhythm reading became second nature. Being introduced to the concept of sight reading (the ability to sing or play music without previously hearing it) at a young age helped later on in my musical journey. And that leads me to now, 2021. This year is my Junior year at Veterans Memorial High School, and I have thrived in the Fine Arts Department, choir specifically. I have competed at the highest level, qualifying as far as Area in choir auditions (in which sight reading is included as a part of your placing) and am currently fighting for a place in the All State Choir this year. And no, those results were not a fluke. Those results were the outcome of hard work and practice, instilled in me by Laudette when I was just 5 years old. The skill of music mastery bestowed from her to me will forever be a part of my identity and I proudly wave that flag. I cannot force your hand, but if you are wanting to improve on your musicality, or more, wanting to succeed and thrive at the highest level, look no further.

I enrolled my daughter in piano lessons with Ms. Laudette when she was four years old. That was over a year ago, and my girl has learned so much and developed a true love of music. Now she takes piano, voice lessons, and music theory with Ms. Laudette! Additionally, I enrolled myself in piano with Ms. Laudette after witnessing my daughter’s musical development. I’ve been going to Del Mar virtuoso music school for a little over half a year now, and Miss Laudette has helped me so much with not only being able to learn how to play piano, read sheet music, and sing! I have been going to piano and vocal lesson with Ms.Laudette for over four year now. When I first started going to her for piano, I could barely play anything and was incredibly shy. Now I have learned pieces I never imagined I would be playing in such a short amount of time, and she was even able to help me break out of my shell and try vocal lessons too. She is an incredibly talented and professional pianist and vocalist. Laudette never holds her students back and works with your schedule/needs! For instance, because of college and the pandemic, I haven’t been able to attend in person classes with her often, but she kindly has altered them to be over zoom as another option for her students.I have found more than just a teacher in Ms.Laudette, but also a role model and someone I consider family. She truly has a talent for teaching and performing, but also creating a warm environment for her students to grow!

My name is Jezleen Alingasa, and I have been a student here with Laudette since I was just seven years old; I turned 18 three weeks ago. I have learned so much about music during my time here, and Laudette has helped me every step of the way. She has been such a big part of my love for music and I have made many accomplishments with through teaching. Throughout my eleven years as her student, Laudette has helped me learn and polish my skills in both vocals and piano.
