My little MVP! ⚽️ I really cant say enough good things about Turf Sports. Coach Johnson and his team are incredible at teaching sportsmanship, leadership, and the importance of showing up. Having strong role models for Elias is probably the most important job I have as a parent and being a part of the Turf family is one of our greatest blessings. Way to go Earthquakes!!

You must check this place out. All 3 of children (as well as our nieces and nephews 5-16yo) have participated in the programs at Turf -Summer Camp, Strength& Conditioning, Flag Football, Soccer, Tee Ball and not only do they enjoy it their skills and sportsmanship are flourishing. The staff and coaches at Turf are supportive, friendly and lead by example. We enjoy the schedules and rates the facility makes it easy to juggle multiple children in multiple sports. We look forward to continuing at Turf and watching our children become confident leaders.

Our family loves Turf Sports!! My 5 year old granddaughter has played Soccer and Smash Ball since she was 3 and we continually see the improvement she has made. The Coaches are wonderful and the children love them, ESPECIALLY Coach Crosby!!!! These children not only learn technical skills, but they learn to be teammates. They make many new friends, have a great time, and get very needed exercise and fresh air! Our Family highly recommends Turf Sports!!!

We love Turf Sports! Coach Kody is so patient and a wonderful coach with all ages including our 2 year old. Turf is a professional organization. Games on Saturdays and mid week practice days are always a positive encouraging atmosphere! We are very thankful for Turf!

My son has been training with turf and he loves it! He trains with Coach Crosby and Coach Lugo. This summer he was able to participated in summer training camps as well as summer 7vs7. I recommend this sport complex. Pricing is also affordable. We will continue to train with turf as my son continues football in high school. Also looking forward to my 4 year old to start participating as well! Thank you to all staff who gives this opportunity to our community.

Turf sports complex has been a great place for both my son and daughter. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Turf focuses on teaching the fundamentals of the game. Shout out to coach Gerald Johnson and his staff. They are bringing out some great athletes and putting south Texas football on the map.

Such a great staff of coaches and owners, so friendly and knowledgeable. They really make the sports so fun while teaching the kids amazing skills! We definitely plan on continuing season after season and registering our younger son when hes old enough as well.

My son loves Turf. Great program and great coaches. We had a awesome experience and met some great families. I can’t say enough about Coach Lugo and all the staff at Turf. We will be playing flag football there for another year.

Great place for 1st time athletes to get an understanding of the sport they are interested in, my kids have had coach Staton and coach Crosby for football and they definitely helped them develop as athletes.

1st time there, so it was little difficult figuring out where to park. Once you get it no problem. Theres high grass on the left side with water/mud that cant be seen immediately. Thought I would get stuck. Parked on right side no problem.

The kids have so much fun their. They are there to help the kids learn.

Great after school program. Coaches are really caring and love playing with the kids. My daughter loves going there. She also loves the soccer league we put her in here. Defit recommend.

I didnt ever really feel safe when my daughter was there for after school. It seemed like the coaches didnt really keep track of the kids. There were several occasions when I picked her up and no one ever noticed. In addition to that, the place is filthy!

I use to make the trek from Portland to Corpus 3x a week for my daughter to be in Blast Ball there for a couple of years. It was always a lot of fun and a great experience. I would always recommend them to anyone looking to get their kids into sports.Sadly my family will not be attending them anymore do to their lack of responsibility through 2020 and into 2021. The blatant disrespect for health and safety due to the pandemic was too much. They never really took things serious which is horrifying. Just look at the pictures they post on FB and you can see packed areas and maskless faces. This isnt just adults safety at risk but childrens as well.

Turf is such a wonderful place for children. My son loves it there. They have so many amazing coaches that love what they do. They love to help our children out and see them grow. I highly recommend this place for all families. Thank turf coaches for everything that you do.

I had 3 older boys go through this program. It really helped as they got into Jr. High and H.S. football. Or really any sport in general. My youngest son has now been in it since he was 5. Its been a tremendous help for him and all of them really enjoyed it. Great competition out there. Definitely recommend starting them young and sticking with it.

Our boys have been with Turf since they were 5 and 7 years old! I can honestly say it has been the best experience ever for them. Our boys have been fortunate enough to be under the coaching of Coach Gerald along with many of the other highly skilled coaches. They have always inspired and motivated the players to do more than they think they can. These coaches have the players reach for possibilities far beyond the limits of their beliefs! These coaches also understand that what they are coaching is not limited to just coaching on the field. They teach life lessons as well by helping them back up from failures and setbacks, learning to trust their teammates, sacrificing individual needs for the benefit of the team, dealing with winning and losing, good sportsmanship, fair play, honesty, and integrity. I know Turf will always be a part of our family long after my boys age out! #TurfTrained

This place have given my children a place to grow and excel as athletes. The difference from when they started here to now after doing training and classes is extremely impressive. The coaches and trainers really care and put the children in great, safe environment to learn. I cannot recommend this place enough.

As a coach at Turf Sports Complex, I am confident to say my placement here has helped me grow so much as a person. The greatest experience I have ever been a part of with these kids. I’ve learned to grow with them and create a memorable experiences. It’s been very difficult times since COVID-19 began. Kids may not fully-understand what’s going on, but that’s where we come into place. We’ve created structured activities and taken extreme precautions to get these kids back to a social and sports environment. My care for these kids is unexplainable. I can still remember the great coaches I had as a kid. I am simply trying to do better or as best as I can to make a difference in the kids’ lives, in all sorts of great ways. That being said I’m excited to get back on track with the summer program!

I would give 0 stars if I could. Signed my son up for football and was told the practice time would be 6:15. 2 weeks in they changed it to 5:15. The new time was impossible for my work schedule so I asked for a refund and the receptionist aka the owners wife was very rude. Eventually she told me she would give the refund but then I never received it. Waste of $150.

So we decided to put our son back in Flag football with Turf sports complex in corpus before all of this Covid-19 began. Although I know that things are beginning to open I personally don’t feel comfortable exposing my child to this. I reached out to Turf Sports Complex to see if we could get a refund and the owner personally refused my $200.00 refund. He explained that they are taking all safety precautions but how can it be safe. I personally will never go back to this business. Please help spread the word the TURF SPORTS COMPLEX IN CORPUS CHRISTI dsnt care about these children, they care about the money. My son is worth far more then $200.00!!!

We had a great experience yet again with Turf Sports! Our little guy loved playing Blastball this season and is already improving significantly! Cant wait for our daughter to be old enough to play! Hope some of the previous coaches come back for next season, but were so glad to see more faces out there. Thanks for continued fun for the kids!!

My son has played here for several seasons. He has grown as a football player tremendously. While not perfect, it is the best football training in town. Had a bad coach one season and didnt win a game, but he was gone. Ever since, it has been a place for my son to grow. Great experiences here.

Great facility, definitely cant get the training anywhere in the city this facility provides. Great staff very informative, its like Ive watched my son and his friends grow as athletes in my own backyard. Great family oriented atmosphere.

This place is an awesome facility that is great with kids. Coaches work their hardest to work with every kid that walks in through the doors. Turf has 2 practices a week for every sport that is offered, each practice is structured and organized I would highly recommend this facility for anyone trying to improve in all sports

My 3 year old son had a blast doing tball!Coaches are great and really try to help the kids AND make it fun! Already signed up for next season!

I love the facility all the coaches truly love the kids and care for the Ive been to the facility many times an the coaches care for your kids success and want the best for them turf sports will give you a good facility with a traing studio and very clean and nice rooms with in facility restroom and a super safe and artificial turf that you wont find anyone else I suggest to any parent that has a little athlete you should really bring them to turf.

*Soccer*If you don’t mind paying $75+ for your kid to come and play with other kids, then this is the place for you.I understand for younger age groups competition is probably not needed as they are just getting started, the older groups do need some type of structuring and basic curriculum to follow. The format (3v3, recreational) they play is sincerely lame and it does not promote the sport at all.Although staff are nice to kids, they do lack control when practicing and playing. They allowed parents to be inside the field or other kids to run into the field. Games where sometimes ran with no half-times, or cancelled with without previous notification.The facilities are what really need an upgrade: the field is uneven, unsafe, with a lot of standing water after the rain. No benches are provided for athletes. Athletes where sitting down with their parents most of them time and if not visiable enough, sometimes they’re weren’t sub’ed in enough.Games were usually during heat peak-hours. Luckily towards the end of the season temperatures were tolerable.Like i mentioned before, if you don’t mind paying $75+ for your kids to just come and play with other kids, then this is fine. If you expect a higher level of training, development or outcome this is not the place, at least for soccer. I can’t speak for the other sports they offer.

Great as a pick up service, however coaches have no control over kids. This place is very unsafe, unless your kid knows to stay inside. This place has no discipline. Sit outside their building and just see all that goes wrong in this place. Go inside and see coaches don’t care, always on their phones and pay NO attention to the kids. Last time using them!!!!

The facility is great and contrary to the previous statement the coaches care alot. You wont find a better training program thats also safe for your child.

Had high expectations for this place. I was WRONG. I paid 200 dollars for signing up a day late. Which is My fault thats ok my son wanted to play.1. Only given a jersey and small trophy.Have to find and buy shorts and socks. We were given colors that were not at ANY of the stores in corpus have to order online.2. This place ONLY plays the good/experienced players. My kid is a beginner and did not learn. Was pulled out of the game and yelled at multiple times. The yelling is part of the game its the REASON behind it that upsets me. We went to all practices and he didnt learn positions or the concept of the game. That is sad to me especially for those who paid $175-$200.3. They had 2 coaches and 1 didnt even do anything but sit back. 1 coach could of been for the good players and the other coach could of been for the beginners.4. Owners wife is rude. Had to keep my sister from crawling over the counter at sign up. Then felt her frustration when I went in another day to ask a question the coaches couldnt help me with.5. The owner advertises his sponsors repeatedly on the microphone during the game. Before and maybe after is good enough. Plus we are staring at the banners on the back fence I think the people get it.6. I think i paid to have this place break my kids self esteem then do anything else.Will not be back and do NOT recommend for beginners.7. FAVORTISM was seen on all teamsExcept the SAINTSTHAT COACH seemed to actually talk to the kids and explain. That is only from 1 experience of seeing his game.8. OH AND the dads are on the field before,during and after practicing with their kid who isnt even playing at the time. They threw the footballs at a good amount of speed and when their kid misses or drops the ball it would bounce into the other PARENTS. Wow how rude. My little kid and i were almost hit a few times. Why was this allowed??? Idiots.
