I went to this school for most of my high school life. Then transferred to Mingus only to be told the credits I got in AHA were not accredited. So I had to repeat classes and grades. Not because I failed, but because the school wasnt accredited? Not the only problem i have had either. Uniform is strict to the point i was sent home for wearing the wrong shade of red on a jacket. Or a teacher who did not like my brother who took her class the previous year, would then take it out on me the next year. I would not suggest this school at all. Its lacking in extracurricular activities. The basic education studies are a joke.

Great faculty. All are super helpful and my daughter who is in Kindergarten just Loves her teacher Mrs. Laurie. PTO is wonderful and great at making sure the kids get what they need and get the parents involved in the school. I love the small class settings. It makes it much easier to teach one on one for the students who need it and also lets the students who are more advanced continue their work. No one gets left behind. I love it. I recommend this school to everyone I know. Its a wonderful school.

I currently am attending AHA (as of 3/15/19). Unfortunately, this school was a very good, well moralized, liberal arts school, providing a classical education in a caring environment; the school has since exponentially declined in all of these perks, including the level of good discipline distributed from the faculty, along with the failing educational standards of AHA. The parents who allow their child(ren) to attend this school, whether in elementary grade, middle school, and most crucially high school, overlook the lack of education that is included in the attendance of AHA. Lack of education falls under these categorys: Social Development, is completely lacking. The Math Curriculum of the school is too weak and too vague to create a good foundation of mathematical problem solving in certain future jobs that a student may be seeking. There is absolutely nothing along the lines of Band, Choir, Extra Financial Classes, Welding, or Mechanics, in other words you cannot gain a single trade from AHA as it is. The Science and English course and curriculum is about the only substantial provisions AHA has, and even then, that is to a minimum.

Great School!|Attentive teachers, Principal makes time to meet with parents if needed to, Uniform strictly enforce which is nice as Student are properly dressed (more modest than regular schools), mission of the school is respectable! The only down part is the school is only Monday - Thursday, otherwise it would be perfect!!!

Poor standards for education. Far behind Mingus Union High School in terms of intelligence. Small class sizes, uniform, four day school week. Very kind teachers and faculty.

Love the school. Love the teachers, and love the morals and mission of the school. My girls will be going here until they graduate.

They have a good core curriculum, but the school has a D rating and takes no blame for the rating instead provides excuses.
