If you know what you need, or know how to operate the copiers fax machines etc. This is the place for you. If however you need any help with anything its going to be a long slow slog to get help and I still wasnt able to get anyone to help me.I have been to many Office Max locations across the U.S.No other was so unhelpful. The store might as well had no employees. I tried to get any help from anyone. It was almost as if they were stalling to see if they could force another employee to have to help a customer. It was a standoff. They dithered around avoiding eye contact.

Very expansive store with excellent customer service by the associates. They are always willing to assist their customers to find out of stock items too! Also, their Print Center handles to the best of their ability many printing projects creating beautiful greeting cards, posters and banners. They even create coil bound books which are much more flexible than paper or hardbound books. I also love the level of expertise of some of their Print Center associates who can expedite the creation of invitations, business cards, banners and posters. Great place to purchase coffee, creamers, candies and much much more!

I have only had very good experiences in Office Depot Cottonwood until today. The printing department was very indifferent and rude. I will avoid this department at all costs. After signing in I recieved a text stating a 5 min wait and then 1 minute. 55 minutes later and after other people came and went without signing in, she finally assisted me. I believe this rude lady is the manager of the printing dept. and she never appolizied or offered an appology. Then while helping me, she felt it important to answer the phone and help another person. It is clear that she doesnt value my time.Still waiting for your email .......

Most of the staff members are really nice and efficent, theres an older lady over in photo that just sounds very rude and bitter, i think its just her personality, not anything personal towards individuals. the fed ex system could be better organized,but the kid that helped me was really trying his best. tech is very friendly and helpfull. overall not bad.

The Customer Service in this store is excellent! The computer repair services are excellent as well. We brought them two dead computers to them over the past month, and they take the time to diagnose the problem, and describe the best solutions or options. Their rates are cheaper than any of the computer repair services available in the Verde Valley, and do not charge for diagnostics. I highly recommend this store!

Very organized and well-maintained. There is a lot of selection. Store personnel are helpful and appear knowledgeable. Prices, however, are a bit high. For this last reason, I seldom shop Office Max unless the special is a very fair price.

I usually only shop here for ink. Recently I went in and noticed the prices went up. I looked online and the prices were cheaper on their website. When I asked an associate about it, she said Office Max is doing that to try to encourage online shopping. Uh, deceitful much?

I have attempted again today to return an Amazon gift that was mailed to me and broke. OfficeMax advertises how great their shipping services are right....The same lady with glasses is always sitting there doing nothing, doesnt greet you just looking at her computer. After 5 minutes, yes I counted, she finally acknowledged an older gentleman who asked for a copy and her answer was oh its going to be a while, but yes I thought were the only 2 customers in the entire store! I could hear crickets chirping. Then she asks me what brings you in today I respond I need to ship this back to Amazon, I have the QR code to scan for the label. And her response is oh we dont do that, we dont have the capability to scan anything go down the street to 6th. Im thinking lady your entire checkout process is SCANNING! You cannot buy anything without scanning the barcode, it was laughable and I walked out.

Great deals for teachers in the fall and solid back-to-school specials for families to save money. The management has been a good partner for school activities as well. The every-day prices arent particularly competitive, but the store is convenient and there are often decent weekly specials.

It is unfortunate that this store is really the only opportunity to find office supplies in this small town. The store is not well kept with gaping empty spaces on the shelves where merchandise has not been restocked. The restroom is not well maintained and the office furniture offered for sale is covered in dust. Staff to provide assistance is nearly non-existent as well as seeming thoroughly disinterested if you are able to find someone.

The selection is about what you would expect from an office supply store. On the electronics side, I personally think they could benefit on focusing less on printers (which they have a MILLION of) and tablets, and more on desktop computers and high-end laptops.One benefit of shopping in store as opposed to online is theyre CONSTANTLY having sales on seemingly random individual items, discounted enough to offset the sale tax. While this is great, it does open up the door to impulse buys, which have snagged me more times than I care to admit.The highlight of the store, and what keeps me coming back, is the staff. They are all extremely knowledgeable, but specialized. While normally this would be a problem, the sales staff has no problem turning to others when you have a question or approach a subject they dont feel qualified addressing. If I have a very complicated issue (or, more often, issues) I may deal with three or four separate associates. While this may sound negative, this always ensures that youre talking to the person who can help you best.Plus, their return policy is very generous, with the money back in your account back in a day or two. When dealing with tech issues, this can be a lifesaver.

If you are in a hurry or you think a simple purchase, or simple print job will be a quick process. Think again.I recently moved to this area, and going into the store about 5x a week for shipping purposes.I have come to realize that the copy and print department and the shipping department are the same. And they have no customer service experience. I literally only have to hand off a package to an employee when i come in, But its never that simple.Everytime I come in, the employees are either talking crap about a customer they just had, talking about unrelated things, or so into there copy job they are doing. I waited 10 minutes today to hand off my package.While i waited i noticed 1 employee with a customer. Which is completely fine. She never said hi, or ever told me if was going to be a couple of minutes. I just waited. After 5 minutes of waiting patiently, an Old Gentleman came up to the same counter, and the lady quickly said hello and asked what he needed. He was picking up a print job that was over 1,000$. Of course another employee who just walked up and heard, and immediately helped him..Mind you all i wanted to do was literally give a box to the employee, i didnt need a receipt just didnt want to leave on the counter. When it finally hit 10 minutes of me waiting. The lady was done with her customer and came over. I didnt get a hello or ever a smile. she looked like she hated her job and could careless about helping.In the end, it sucks that the Copy and Print, and Shipping dept, dont like there jobs. But its sucks ever more i cant go to a different store. If it was up to me, i would no longer be shopping here. But because i us FEDEX all week long i HAVE to..Just remember if you think its going to be simple.. its notIf you want to have quick check out for buying product, it will be quick. The Cashiers are awesome. Apparently their happiness and wonderful customer service hasnt spread to the other part of the store.

Worst customer service in the world. The guys running the FedEx desk are not good. They’re bad. Dare I say... horrible! Only go here if you enjoy the experience of four old guys in red vests staring at you while you wait, never saying a word to you, or asking what you need.If you CAN get them to help you, good luck. Nobody knows how to enter shipping zones or set up overnight delivery or print a shipping label. This place is a disaster!

Went to replace the ink cartridge in my Parker pen. It showed one in stock and when the sales clerk and I couldnt find it he offered to order from the warehouse and ship for free. Nice young man.

Most of our work with officemax is the copy and print center. Theyre helpful on new projects and always on time with our weekly printing projects, not to mention the prices are more than competitive. We dont need to go any where else.

Aisles are usually neat an tidy and well stocked. I do a lot of online print orders and their turnaround time has been pretty fast. Plenty of parking, same shopping center as Safeway. Customer restrooms are available.

I do not usually write these things, in fact I made an account just because I felt compelled to for the first time. Ive been in the store a couple of times over the past few weeks visiting family and the store while it could use some cleaning was generally well kept and easy to navigate. Beyond this though the staff I encountered was absolutely amazing from a smaller lady in the print center quickly and effeciently helping me out to the big bearded man that seemingly runs the rest of the store they were phenomenal. The bearded gentleman everytime I have seen him was running the tech counter and multiple registers, by himself, while answering phones at the same time! He did this without ever breaking a smile and cracking jokes with seemingly everyone. That man can do it all and I am glad I got my mothers computer there. When I get home I can only hope that my local store will be this exceptional. Thanks for making my holidays easier.

This OfficeMax isnt vary good. The staff here isnt bad, but they arent exactly good either. My wife and I actually prefer to drive the extra 20 miles to the Staples in Sedona instead.

Rude. I was called kid Im 31 years old. All they wanted yo do was explain why it was my fault they printed the wrong document. I didnt care about blame, only wanted another print job done for the document I needed

The las time I came to this store to get my phone fix,the lady sitting in front off the tech services area dont have any manners. She scream to her other coworkers than to stand and address what she needs to know. The other male whos standing and just doing nothing doesnt even care to ask if I need any help while Im waiting. Telling me to comeback the next day and I told them, No,Im coming back to this store. These kind of workers needs to be fired. Pushing away the customer than helping them.

Just had an older man at the Fed Ex desk treat me like an idiot. I have been using their shipping department regularly with FedEx Smartpost, sending out 3 or 4 packages a week. It is a hybrid USPS co-op between the 2 carriers, that you can drop off at any Fed Ex location. I had two packages which I had mistaken for Smartpost when they were USPS and I brought them in. He Came up to the counter, scoffed, and exclaimed that they were U.S. Mail. We dont take mail here! He said curtly. He pointed at the USPS barcode on the ahipping label and said, This is not FedEx! We do FedEx! Pointing at the sign on the wall, and said, SEE! WE ARE FED EX! I tried to explain that I thought it was smartpost and that they also have a USPS barcode. He scolded me again and repeated that WE DO NOT TAKE USPS! WE ARE FED EX ONLY! I grabbed my two packages and left. This old guy should not be serving people for the public is he is going to treat people poorly.

Every single employee I encountered in this store was personable and helpful. I visited this store on both Dec 23rd and 24th.Im from out of state, and needed to do some shipping for my mother, who is a resident of Cottonwood. When I arrived at the FedEx counter on the 23rd with items to ship that were not packed, Michelle directed me to the FedEx location on 6th Street, which is a full service facility. When I told her that I was not familiar with Cottonwood, she wrote down the directions, and the telephone number. Without my having to ask, she called the location to make sure they were open, and let the gentleman there know that I was on my way, because he had told her that he was getting ready to close.On the 24th, I had more items to ship, but this time they were packaged and ready to go. Michelle was again very helpful, walking me through the kiosk process while continuing to assist other customers. She moved seamlessly from one task to another, helping as many people as needed her.Once we finished with my shipping process, I took my FedEx receipt to the register, where there was a line. There was one cashier, and soon another register opened. Even with two registers open, and the clerks working efficiently, there were more last-minute shoppers than could be quickly processed. Once again, Michelle came to the rescue, by opening a third register.People like her are worth their weight in gold. She is knowledgeable, personable and efficient. She made a task I was anticipating to be drudgery into one that was entirely painless.Thanks, Michelle, and everyone else who worked at the Cottonwood location on the 23rd and 24th of December.
