I enjoy north east family martial arts, my son is on the spectrum with Adhd and he has truly blossomed and finally found himself able to to do something he is a natural at. The instructors are very trained An keen to pick up on which kiddos needs more help An they do an excellent job with helping kiddos who need alittle more time on one move, while advancing the other kiddos who are catching it alittle faster that day. The classes are always on time! The kids are instilled with crucial values of discipline and routine. My son struggled with the concept of respect due to his social issues and he now fully understands, he is very respectful and kind to his teachers, and Sensei’s ( forgive bad spelling). Renchi Dan ( the head of the dojo) is great at communication with the families, conflict resolution and has always made me feel like I was listened to as a parent. Overall, Northeast Family Martial Arts truly lives up to its name with the plethora of different classes they offer as well as the overall atmosphere they give up from the moment you walk in. You guys are the best I recommend them every time a friend asks about karate :)They also follow Covid guidelines very strictly, place is always squeaky clean.

We took our son to Northeast Family Martial Arts it was very impressive the it is set up the way the owner talks to you everybody treats you with respect the way his instructors talks to the kids and how they teach them if the kids need more one on one time they give them 100 % percent of their time and they dont try to rush them through I like the fact that they dont just give everybody a belt they have to earn it I just want to say thank you for letting my son to join your studio

This place is great!! All the instructors are wonderful. My 6 year old son loves going to his karate classes each week and was upset he couldn’t go to more classes. I can’t say enough good about it. :)

I joined for their ladies only kickboxing class; Linda is an awesome leader who challenges you in every way and the women that participate are kind and supportive. My 6yo and 4yo attend karate; the instructors are patient, kind, consistent and great role models.

This is an awesome martial arts school. Both my girls have been and are students here and so am I. This school has inculcated a sense of discipline and values of hard work to both my girls.

This place is great! My son started taking classes here about a month ago. He was always interested in martial arts but I was concerned about his short attention span and high energy level because of his ADHD. I finally decided to give it a try and it seems that the program has helped improve his ability to pay attention and listen as well as burning off some of the extra energy he has ! Renshi Dan was great at motivating him and getting him involved, Sensei Martin and Mr. Jacob run an awesome fun filled class that my son looks forward to coming to ! If I could give them 10 stars I would ! ⭐️

My 4 year old son just began his first Karate class at NFMA. Its pretty amazing how the Senseis teach kids. They usually break up the class in 3 groups after the whole class warm up activity, and provide different training thats suitable for each childrens level. Totally recommend to all families!

I have been part of the NFMA family for over 12 years. First as an attending parent, watching my children participate. Then, 8-1/2 years ago, I joined the Muay Thai and Krav Maga classes. The confidence I have in my ability to defend myself is immeasurable! I have made lifelong friends, as well. The camaraderie is a fantastic bonus. My son Bryce started at NFMA 3 years ago. He started as part of a summer program and he loved it !! Now here we are 3 years later getting ready for our High Blue belt(hard to believe). We have enjoyed our time at NFMA and everyone really does make you feel like part of the family. All of the instructors are wonderful and all have a special way with the kids. Highly recommended !

We started my son at NFMA in kindergarten. He was a little wild and we were hoping it would help him with focus and discipline. It has. Now 5 years later, both my boys, my husband and I practice martial arts at NFMA. We love it. The most important thing we are all learning is how to protect ourselves. We are also learning great motivational lessons about life, making life long friendships, getting an awesome workout (that is never boring and continually evolving) and loving be involved with an activity as a family.Something that really impresses me about NFMA is the teens and young adults who are 1st and 2nd degree black belts. They are role models for the younger kids. They are polite, respectful, hard working, wonderful teachers, disciplined and amazing martial artists.
