My daughter has been attending this school for 7 years now. She has excelled at everything she has done here. Early on there was some disorganization but I have always been able to call or email and have immediate help, answers, or information. The classes are small and the kids get all the one on one attention they need plus the staff is always ready to give extra assistance when needed. Well never regret the decision to come to Covington Academy.

My daughter has been attending school at Covington Academy for 6 years! We love the teachers and administrators at the school! There have been some social issues here and there over the years but they were handled fairly to everyone involved. We also love the community involvement and activities throughout the year! Fantastic place and highly recommended for anyone in the area! Thank you for all you have done and will do!!

I know the staff personally. They teach love, respect and academics! They reach children and teens on an individual level. This has always been a great environment from the the time we first met them at the Lofts in Porterdale, to the old bowling alley, to the location their home campus on Elks Club! You will struggle to find a group of people more willing to do what ever they need to do to educate your little ones!

This is a great school. My grandson loves the teachers and has learned more here than anywhere else. The school is based on Christian principles and staff is very supportive and helpful. Honored they support our police officers. Love them.

My son has needed several credit recovery classes the last three years. We were referred to Mrs Wendy at Covington Academy from his school counselor. She was amazing. She took the time to explain everything thing to us each time he took a class. And when my son thought he was grown and wouldn’t listen she helped me get him back on track. He listened to her when I couldn’t get him to listen to anyone else. She’s got a gift with difficult children! When I was ready to give up she took over like an angel. If you have a child who thinks he’s grown and wants to quit high school, she’s the one to talk to. It was amazing to see his transformation. He finally graduated high school and is off for the army now. She made that difference in him. I owe her and Covington Academy the world. If your kid needs to make up some classes you have to go see Mrs Wendy.

Covington Academy is amazing. My son decided to enjoy his senior year a little to much. Unfortunately, he failed several classes and was up against not graduating. His school gave me a couple of choices but highly recommend me getting in touch with Miss Wendy. I reached out to her, but feared with all of the Covid shut downs we wouldn’t be able to make this happen. But she called me right back. He was quickly added to the classes he needed and the crunch to get him finished was on. He was able to email Miss Wendy whenever he had questions. And she answered promptly. Even when he stayed up and did a all nighter! He had a lot of work to make up. But it was accomplished and even though we didn’t have a traditional graduation he was able to get his diploma. Being able to get a second chance is everything.

I want to know why now why put sign in your yard we back the blue why now if you feel that way that’s fine you can’t push that message on people I’m highly disappointed in this school my child will not be attending this school no more

This school is all about money. Staff shows favoritism to their own children that attends the school. Sorry, but this place is unorganized. Stay away!

Good Challenging Christian School! Teachers Care! My daughter loves her teachers and her classmates. Challenging, interesting lessons. My daughter is exceeding in all of her classes and when she has had any difficulty the teachers were able to give her the special attention that she needed. Christian lessons are incorporated seamlessly into the curriculum. I highly recommend this school. They have sports and many other extracurricular activities. I would have my oldest daughter there if they had a Good Band Program ( they currently do not have Band). The New Campus is so beautiful! The grounds make you feel like you are camping! So serene. The river that runs through is beautiful and we got to ride peddle boats in it for the fall festival. the building has such Charm! Glass walls facing out over the river and courtyards, Fireplaces in some of the classrooms. I look forward to seeing this school continue to grow. I have spoken to some graduates and they are doing well in college and loved their experience at Covington Academy. The New Campus is located at: 396 Elks Club Road Covington GA 30014!

Christian education in a safe environment. Common sense brought back into the classroom!

My son had a $5000 special needs scolarship for private school. Even though this school was 20 miles from my home, I thought this school would be a great fit for my autistic son, as they assured me at orientation. So I had to pay application fee & matriculation fees out of pocket. However a week after his 1st day of school, they informed me that they lacked resources to teach him, and wouldnt you know, the lacked compassion too. So, I was out of $500 application & matriculation fees, which they say theyre not obligated to reinburse, because he didnt stay in thir school long enough. We were all disappointed, my son felt he was put out of school, for something he could not help & was very embarassed. And so Im skeptical about attempting to use his special needs scolarship next year to enroll him in another private school.

My child has an iep and they would NOT accept him. Guess if youre not a whos who....
