Taking a class for my cdl. Very economical.

Currently attending the National Welding Certification Program here at T.C.A.T. Crossville, Tennessee campus. This is the best education Ive ever received! Seriously, I dont learn in the traditional read, write, then test style. I learn by hands on, audible instructions paired with video/audio and reading. Im allowed to ask questions that are above my current understanding and they answer and explain how it ties in to the current lesson and then they build from there. Ultimately compounding upon every lesson from there. They work with my having memory issues from T.B.I. from getting blown up in Iraq and help however they can! Im so blessed T.C.A T. Is here and structured the way they are. I couldnt have picked a better school to use my G.I. Bill with. Especially given the current college issues/climate. T.C.A.T. should definitely be on your list to consider for college for all types of courses, advanced technical skill programs, and follow on education requirements.

Building program was extremely lacking. Most days were stuck in class doing nothing. By the time of graduation I had not received adequate hands on experience in the building field to confidently join the workforce and had not been given the opportunity to learn necessary skills so I could make decent money starting out or start my own business. Would’ve been better off starting out at a construction company for minimum wage and learn that way,would’ve learned more and got paid while doing it.

I had three options of applied technical classwork area in these Eastern land. From Chattanooga, TN - A vertical settings requires me to underestimate why all the way up is an area I do not need anymore.The Westernly area if Tennessee had mainly adopted me.

If you need a hairdo at a reasonable price, the TCAT cosmetology class, in Crossville, is the place to go.!! The instructor is with the student so no need to worry... This place is awesome and set up like a big professional salon They do nails, feet, and more. Ya got to check it out!!

Couldnt be happier with the place.... teachers are great.....

Would give zero stars if I could because they dont accept federal student loans at any tcat schools.

Terrible trash awful school

The real story of their HEV program. There are no jobs in this field in this area. They claim the placement rating is 100%, this is a downright lie. Only three people that graduated this program have gotten jobs even remotely close to this this field. One of them works on electric golf carts (not what this program is meant for). One of them works at Dave Kirk as a technician for normal automotives, he took the Auto tech class too so more than likely how he got that job has nothing to do with this class. The other one got a job as the new instructor years after she graduated (she spent one month at an actual hybrid shop in California, I will let you guess why she didnt make it there). Let me be clear about this, no real experience in an actual shop and now she is the instructor for the program. DO NOT TAKE THIS PROGRAM. It is a waste of money and time. It does not prepare you for what you need and is an absolute joke. They claim it is a sixteen month course. I will graduate this month being my tenth month with hardly applying myself. I couldve finished it in half that time. This class is a complete waste.

My brother goes to school here. Quality education. Wonderful staff.
