I loved my experience with this daycare. We had to switch unfortunately due to distance but it was amazing staff and care. We were very sad to leave. They send you updates throughout the day and pictures, very responsive and kind.

I don’t even know where to begin with how much I love Children’s First. My son went here and now my daughter goes here as well. They both learned so much and ALWAYS love/loved going. They do so many fun activities and are always engaged in something. I wanted to make sure wherever I took them they would have structure and be in a fun learning environment.I really couldn’t say enough great things!!

My daughter has been attending children’s first learning center since February of this year. She has learned so much and has excelled beyond my expectations. I was nervous to have her start daycare but I feel very comfortable because they allow you to monitor your children via camera. I would highly recommend children’s first learning center.

My son had an amazing kindergarten experience in the turtle house. The teachers were fantastic and he learned so much.

My daughter has been going here since she was a baby and she is now 3. I highly recommend!!! I feel my daughter is safe and the teachers and staff are amazing and caring!!!

My son is in the baby room (Butterfly) and the teachers are amazing! Very caring and patient. They wash his bottles every night and wash the bibs you provide and burp cloths in-house so there’s no extra effort involved on my end. They do crafts and have a great food program. Their room is always clean and safe for the kids. It seems like the teachers have good bonds with the kids in the other rooms too.

We recently relocated to Crown Point, IN from Minnesota. And I must say I feel VERY blessed to have found CFLC (Children’s First Learning Center)!My son attends the Greenhouse (the In home care center) and he LOVES it!The teachers/staff are absolutely wonderful but the lead teacher, Mrs. Laura is truly a stand out individual! She brings to the table 15+ years of being in early childhood educator and you can tell! She has created such a wonderful curriculum for the children which is based around ‘STEM’. She has helped children learn to read by the early age of 3 and is BEYOND patient with each child!One thing I must also commend the staff and teachers for is keeping the children safe and healthy! They keep the parents informed and do a wonderful job of communicating any illnesses and what they are doing to attempt to prevent the illness from spreading to other children!I could go on and on about about this center but you should truly see it and experience it for yourself! If you are looking for a loving, safe, educational facility to enroll your child into, The greenhouse, Mrs.Laura and her staff are hands down the place to go!

For this school to have great reviews, I was surprised about my experience. I was looking for childcare for my soon-to-be 5 year-old son and reached out via phone which seemed to be inaccessible. As an alternative, I sent an email in which I received the reply, “Yes we are open please call Monday and talk to Nath. $ 210.00 per week.” That alone was disappointing; especially as a response from a childcare center. I brushed it off and called the following Monday. Even the phone etiquette was off. It seemed like the person was more focused on the $210 a week (I have paid as much as $1,500 a month for childcare) than offering information about the school. Luckily, I received information from a parent in the area that told me not to enroll my child due to several complaints from local parents.

Recently left due to staff issue / cook left in charge of behavior issues w/o certification in Turtle House - Management is okay with this, I am not. Also not okay with yelling/shouting at children - which Ive witness first hand. Price increases yearly. Crying wolf numerous times over temperature when found normal at Urgent Care. Trash talking other daycares. Inconsistent, especially with behavior. Sportically follows handbook. Lots of fees and quarterly fees, adds up. Expensive. Better options out there, especially when you have cook dealing with your kids instead of teachers.

This is an exceptional school to have your children in. I wasnt looking for a day care babysitter, but a place where Marcus could grow emotionally and academically in. Their love, care and understanding of his needs helped Marcus to adjust, learn and feel safe. I love this school because of the activities he was able to participate in and the care he was given. I highly recommend learning center to any parent who is looking for a wonderful place for their children to spend their days in. It is safe with lots of safety measures in place for who comes and goes.

The employees are great, owner not so much. According to the owner she is there to run a business and that is all....Children are apparently her last concern. If your child has any special needs do not expect her to help...if you are on voucher, do not expect her to even know your childs name, and if you work there, expect to be treated like dirt.

I have had both of my children, one still currently attends, at Children First Learning Center for the past 5 years. They both have loved their experience there and we have made some great friendships. The children are very well taken care of and I trust the staff 100%. My oldest child just started Kindergarten this year and she went into it ahead from all of the learning she did over the years at Children First Learning Center. It was a great transition for her into full-time all day Kindergarten because of the structure she had while attending CFLC. I will and have recommended the center to anyone.

I was very picky about which daycare my kids went to. I called Children First Learning Center to get a tour and I was very impressed! I found out they have amazing teachers & staff. They follow the paths to quality. It has a great learning environment.

We feel comfortable with the people surrounding our children. I personally feel comfortable with the adults that interact and teach my children. I believe she is safe and well taken care of at Children First Learning Center.

I am so happy with the level of care CFLC has provided for my son. The amount of things he has learned in the past year here went beyond my expectations. I really love that the staff pays special attention to each kid, and takes the time to get to know them. I simply could not have asked for a better child care facility.

This daycare helped me son open up to make new friends. I felt it was a safe place to be and did a pretty good job of educating my son.

The facility is awesome; a lot of classrooms and a great playground. My kids have learned so much during their time there. I have no doubt they will be ready when time comes to start school.

Children First Learning Center is an awesome place for your childrens day care. They have very well educated employees that will educate your kids.

This facility has really taught my daughter a lot of things. One day we were sitting at dinner and she began counting in Spanish that she learned at the center, which was very exciting.

By far the best daycare/preschool program in the area. The preschool program prepares young minds by acclimating them to a structured program of learning and fun.

I have watched my Grandson, T.J., grow in every aspect. He learns something new everyday and cant wait to go back the next day. If asked, I would suggest childrens first 100 percent.

They are an awesome day care where your kids with be very educated there. They have very well educated employees!

The playground is spectacular from a kids point of view. I have two kids that attend Children First and they love it there.

I took a tour of the facility here before enrolling and felt that I could trust the CFLC staff right away. I have such a good relationship with them and am comfortable with everyone that comes into contact with my child.

The teachers here at CFLC are phenomenal! We had great classroom experiences with our daughter when she attended.

Ive always thought myself lucky when I enrolled my daughter in CFLC. This center has teachers who truly care about the children, and provides an environment for children to gain confidence, ask questions, be creative, be kinder, and generally make them more well-rounded individuals.

The kids love it at CFLC and have learned so much. Not just academically, but socially, too. The staff is very friendly and really care about the kids.

Short version: They do not keep in touch with families on the waitlist. DO NOT PUT DOWN A DEPOSIT to make it to the top of the waitlist. They can and will bump you without informing you, leaving you short $50 and still in search of care for your child.Long version: After researching local childcare options, my husband and I decided that we would love for our daughter to enroll at CFLC, so we put our name on the infant room waitlist in April 2016. In June 2016 we went in for a tour. During the tour we learned that there would be an opening in the infant room in mid-August 2016 and were told that that spot could be reserved for us if we put down a $50 deposit. We wrote a check and were assured at least three times during our visit that we would have childcare set up for mid-August.On the first of August I called to check in on the timeline and I was blindsided to learn that the spot we had been promised was given to another family who has two older children in other rooms at the center. While I understand and fully support the policy that privileges existing family clients above new clients, it is extremely unprofessional that we were not called and informed of this change. Not only did we lose our deposit but we are forced to find new childcare on extremely short notice.I wrote CFLC to suggest they consider implementing a policy to notify families whom they assure will make it off the waitlist and into their care by a certain time should the timeline change. I never received a reply to my letter (or refund for that matter).

Very good curriculum, my daughter learned a lot everyday. The building itself is very secure with entry, check-in and check-out.

Safety is a top priority at Children First. The staff is very friendly and the kids learn a ton while they are here.
