Excellent dance instruction combined with passionate owners who care about your child. They really strive for children to learn dance in a not only fun but extremely professional way. The children are offered a wide range of dance to learn and are able to perform at many events. They are a cut above the rest. My daughter has been dancing there since she was almost 2 and she loves to go each and every day. Staff is easy to work with and very helpful.

Both of my daughters have been dancing at the Summers Academy of dance since they were about two years old. They have grown so much over the years both in their dancing and in their self-confidence. One of my daughters is in the dance company and on the competition dance team. The other daughter takes all sorts of different recreational classes and was on the dance team for several years too. She uses her dance training to help with her gymnastics floor routines and beam work.The staff at Summers are caring, professional, and knowledgeable. The facility is amazing! They offer a great variety of classes including aerial silks, and my children have been taught in every genre of dance.I highly recommend Summers Academy of Dance to anyone, young or old! Weather youre looking for a recreational class to get fit and have fun, or if you have more serious dance goals in mind, Summers has a class for you.

My 3 and 11 year-old daughters have been attending Summers since almost the time they could walk. I have found the teaching to be kind yet thorough and disciplined. The teachers have high expectations for students but at the same time make class fun. Neither of my girls have ever complained EVEN ONCE about having to go to dance. Even my oldest--who dances 7 hours a week--has never complained; she eats it up! I find this a miracle of sorts. The teachers take personal interest in their students and, being a teacher myself, I find this of immense value. It is rare that one of the owners is NOT on the premises. They are always there making sure everything runs smoothly for parents and kids. Performances are of high caliber and range from recitals, to parade/festival performances, to the Nutcracker--which is a family tradition for so many. There is no better dance school in the world; I am convinced of that.

My daughter had been begging us to do hip hop for months but she wasnt old enough at most places but luckily we fell upon Summers because she was able to enroll in their classes. She absolutely LOVES going to class and loves her teacher! Dance day is the most favorite day of the week for my daughter. The teachers are so patient and friendly as well as the rest of the staff. The quality of instruction is SO different than other places they build confidence, disclipline and skills that I didnt even know my child had. 😀Thank you Summers! We are so happy that we found you!

The rotational classes are great to give the little ones exposure to the different genres. Weve been very pleased with the staff and the facility is amazing!

I am very pleased with Summers Dance Academy. I signed both of my girls up this Fall and they are loving there classes. Since the first day of there classes I have been very happy with all the staff. On the first day of classes the Owner of the studio came up to me and introduced herself to me. She is very nice and informative. I highly recommend Summers Dance Academy.

Excellent dance instruction backed by an inept business administration with nonexistent customer service. The business owners border on unethical in their business practices. For instance, customers sign an annual dance contract in August which outlines monthly class hours and fees for the year. This year additional fees were added to classes just one week after this contract was signed by customers, amounting to essentially a 20% increase in our monthly tuition. Also, classes are continually cancelled by the studio with no comparable classes offered or rescheduled, and no refund is given for the lost instructional time. Class and rehearsal schedules are in a constant state of flux, with many last minute cancellations. Class schedules were given to dancers in late July for the fall session, only to have classes moved around with one weeks notice two weeks into the fall session. Rehearsal schedules are only distributed two weeks in advance and if a dancer misses multiple rehearsals because of previously planned events, they lose their role in the performance. Additionally, Summers dance company students are required to make donations to the business owners 501(c)(3) in order to participate in dance functions. I raised concerns to the managements attention and in a months time they did not even bother to pick up the phone to discuss my complaints. Dont waste your time and money here!

A very welcoming experience everyone on staff is friendly and professional. Victoria was able to connect me with a like minded dancer and point me into the right direction. It was delightful to learn something new. I really felt it was an A+ in my books.

Quality dance instruction, and very convenient location. I appreciate the big floor to ceiling windows that allow me to watch my dancers learn.The shows are terrific, recommend that check them out.

Weve only been her for 2 session but so far my 5 year old loves it. Shes obsessed with dance! We were going to put her in Judith Svalander, which I have heard wonderful things about...however, they dont offer the variety that Summers does. Regular classes, dance troupes, company, and all varieties of styles. We really love it!

Bekah has been dancing at Summers since she was 2. Kym Banner has taught her almost the whole time she has been at the studio. Summers has helped Bekah become a strong dancer and confident little girl. I enjoy the entire staff and feel like Bekah is getting an excellent education in dance. She loves the yearly recitals!! She is also thrilled to be performing in this years production of The Nutcracker. A friend told me about Summers and I am so glad she did! We have had a lot of fun watching Bekah grow up there.

Dancing is my passion and I have Victoria and Jennifer to thank for showing me that.
