I had a massage at the first Institute massage center across from the school in Crystal Lake I did not have a good experience after the massage.during the massage it felt good but just one part of the body like my left arm she kept twisting it when I was sleeping face down twisting it to the outside away from my body so later on I developed a lot of pain because I felt like the ligaments was twisted in the wrong direction and elbow is still sore after 5 weeks post massage called The school and they said they would call me back like the executive director would call me back but nobody has called me back I called them twice

January 2019 I started looking into schools to attend for medical assisting. I contacted First Institute and within 24 hours Jessica got back to me and set up a tour. By mid February I was attending school and on my way to a career! The teachers are absolutely amazing and its such a pleasant atmosphere! They want you to succeed! I truly enjoy my days here and theyre so accommodating to our busy ever day lives. Love Love LOVE first institute!! They have my recommendation always and forever!

I am about to finish the MA program and can honestly say this school has helped me so much as a person and student. I feel fully prepared for my future as a MA. The school helped with growth that could not find at any other colleges around me. Thank You First Institute!

Great school, it’s small but that way we have small class size and have more one on one with the instructors. I’m taking dental assistant classes, I’m half way through my class and I feel like I’m learning a lot.

I just recently graduated from the Medical Assistant Program. The staff here are absolutely amazing!! They work with you anytime you need extra help, if your having a bad day, or if you have a unique learning style as I do! The atmosphere is very comfortable, energetic, and happy. The instructors are always available and happy to help you if your stuck on something and will slow down the pace as needed. I had the best experience of my life, so far, attending this school. They totally prepare you for your career, they are accredited, and help you achieve your goals and dreams! I will definitely miss being around these amazing people!!!!

Amazing staff! The atmosphere at FI is excellent for learning and fostering lasting relationships with both peers and mentors. Several certifications above and beyond the MA certification are available. Cant say enough positive about FI!

I am a medical assistant student who can without a doubt say that it is the greatest place for a aspiring medical assistant to go. The staff/teachers are excellent and will help anyone who has questions or is struggling to grasp a concept along with staff members who can help explain and find a solution to any administrative questions.

Anyone who ever gives this school a low rating just did not work hard. This school is just like a 2nd family. Nothing but joy from this school. All the staff and students are so amazing and I have learned so much coming to this school. Best decision I’ve made to become a medical assistant.

I wish I can give this review no stars. I was a previous student here. I dropped the program once i found a better school that charges $12,000 cheaper and can actually get me nationally certified so i can be a dental assistant anywhere in the country. First institute can not. they say that you get a certification but its useless. I moved back to texas after i completed the other program if i would have stayed at first institute then i wouldnt be able to work in the dental field in texas. I AM WARNING YOU DO NOT GO THERE its a waste of money and a year. There dental lab is horrible the chairs are all ripped up the equipment is old and rusty instruments. while i was only there for about a week. all I was thinking where is my $16,000 going not back in the program so Im telling you now it took me a few years to finally write this. this place is not a good place if you are serious about having a career DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME

Great school! I got a job a month after graduating. They helped me with my resume and emailed me job openings. I have 1 year+ at my job as medical assistant and I love it!

The manager Larcy Ward at First Institute Student massage clinic needs to learn how to treat the customers. Its terrible when they dont value a customer who has been supporting their business for 15 years. First Institute hires anyone who has no credentials to run the massage clinic as a manager. The management there doesn’t even care. One word TERRIBLE!

Hate this place, paid all this money for medical assisting classes but was not placed for a job. Waste of money. Do not attend this school. It is not accredited!
