Came here for an open night a couple years back. Their open night was me sitting in an office for an hour alone with paperwork to apply for the place.

This school is trash ! The teachers are petty and always distracted during lecture , I know now more about their personal lives than the actual course ! Teachers show up to lecture for 30-34 mins and then dart off the video. Teachers also take a load of points for a missed day - this is a scam program - waste of time and money - when all we do is learn from the books . Terrible terrible terrible !

I called the Fortis College located in Cuyahoga Falls and I spoke with an advisor by the name of Stacy G. I was inquiring about the ADON program. Stacy was very limited with information regarding the program. The phone called ended with Stacy informing me to go online to the school catalog to look up answers to my questions. Calling the location was not helpful. Looking at a catalog online and still having questions will have you stuck between a rock and a hard place.

I was so excited for my wife to start classes. She ended up starting classes everything was going well. then a few people dropped out of the class Now She have to either withdraw from school or find a new job and start going to the morning classes when I only signed up to the school because they advertise night classes..... My graduation date will be pushed back if I don’t move over to the morning classes I’m starting to believe they only care about the morning sessions. Why advertising ,go to work while earning your degree when it’s not true.

Teacher doesnt turn on her camera during class but tells us that if our camera is off she will mark us as absent..... hypocritical teachers shouldnt teach.

I started my education here when it was NIT in 2001, the instructors were great knowledgeable, and I was placed in a job on the day of graduation. In 2004 I returned to upgrade my Diploma to an Associate Degree, I only had to retake 1 course and my Gen Eds and was completed, again the instructors were fantastic, knowledgeable, and truly provided me the help I needed to succeed one on one, this is something I would not have received from a big University. I have been employed by Fortis since 2005, as an instructor, and in the mean time went back to college for my Bachelors and Masters at another University, however that University accepted all of my credits from my education at Fortis. I am grateful for NIT/Fortis in all they have done to help me on my journey from Financial Aid to Career Services the experience was great!

I attended Fortis College back in 2011/2012, and I loved every minute while I was there. I was blessed to have such great instructors. All had experiences in the field of Criminal Justice, and were very knowledgeable about the learning material. Not only was it a great learning environment, it was also a fun environment. The instructors set a stage for the students to WANT to be involved. It was a joy to go to school whilst attending Fortis. All the staff made it their goal to see you succeed. All were very personable, and it felt like being apart of a family. If you had any problems (I rarely had any) there were countless of individuals you could go see and get them resolved. I loved how they had award ceremonies after each semester. They recognized all our efforts and hard-work, and it was always a great feeling to be one of those persons. The atmosphere was always positive. Ive made lasting friendships not only with other fellow students, but instructors as well. If you are thinking about attending Fortis College, I encourage you to enroll. It was the best decision I made. Im now attending a University to obtain my bachelors degree, and many of the credits I received at Fortis transferred. So if that is one of your worries, worry no more.

Fortis College in Cuyahoga Falls has an excellent ability to produce very qualified, professional graduates that are ready to work in their vocational field. The staff and faculty at Fortis are very dedicated to making sure their graduates represent themselves and the school in the best light!!

I have been in education for over 20 years, and can honestly say that these are some of the finest faculty members and administrators with whom Ive ever worked. They genuinely care about the professional and personal goals of their students--and it shows in everything they do. They take student service to a whole new level. At our small, student-centered campus, students are blessed to have this team on their side to help them reach their academic and professional goals. I am proud to be a small part of the Fortis, Cuyahoga Falls team.

Graduated with an outrageous amount of debt. While there are some really great educators that work here- overall it is far too costly for what they have to offer you. None of my credits transferred for me to get my bachelors. So Im basically starting all over again.

I would never suggest this school to anyone looking into nursing. I attended for a little over a year, and have not gotten anything out of it. I took courses that I was sent home too early for, due to lack of supplies for labs. 3 semesters worth was basically a study hall, I was not prepared for the nursing courses ahead at all, nor did I have the guidance to even try and begin trying to teach myself. The school is a for profit organization. The cost is astronomical for such a poor experience. Accordinog to the board of nursing, they are only provisional. They have very low NCLEX pass rates. Which is what you need to actually begin your career. Moving into my first nursing course, we didnt receive our nursing bags until almost halfway through the semester, along with certain books needed to pass the course. I was lost as to where to get help in the beginning when it came to navigating how to use anything online. There is so many different online sites, that cause issues for staff as well. Its a confusing mess. The only decent thing about the school is very few certain staff members. I wasted so much time and effort into the school to be let down. Im moving forward at a different school.

I love Fortis College because of the people who work there! During my time as a nursing student I received strong support and encouragement from all the instructors and staff. If you are looking for a small school with a nurturing learning environment, I highly recommend Fortis College, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.

Each Fortis location also does each Major differently. So credit from one Fortis location will not be the same at another Fortis location.My Degree is literally useless and im in debt for it.

I finished hvac program in 2014. I’ve learn a lot during that time. Everyone learn from been in the trade. They will help you if you ask for it.You also got be willing to learn outside.I’ve been hvac for about almost three years.You have be willing learn within the trade.I had it hard but that’s anyy Job.

Exceptionally nice, informative and provided me with the access to information I needed to make the right decisions for my future.

Biggest regret of my life.Could not find a job in field after graduation. Did not get much help from job placement. I still remember sitting with financial services before enrollment as they told me my loans would be around 50$ a month for 10 years after graduation. That was a bold face lie. They are several hundred monthly and I work two jobs to make payments. (recently quit one job and gave up and moved back with my mother, who also works two jobs to pay for her Brown Mackie Loans)THIS SCHOOL IS NOT ACCREDITEDYou can not take you education any further than this location. I called today for basic information because I was interested in attending Fortis College I want to know how many days and whats the typical times for the class schedule each week the original representative I spoke with was extremely rude and scolded me because I said it took me 10 years to decide on pursuing a career in nursing then I received a call back from a representative at the school who thought checking me about hanging up on the previous representative was more important than giving me the information I called for I certainly wont be picking Fortis College for any of my educational needs in the future both representative sound extremely uneducated and unprofessional
