I am so excited to have found this place. My 6 year old has been training all over my house and now he has a real place to train. Most exciting is how they incorporate respect and focus at home and school into the program. The first day my son was already showing more respect at home. I cant wait to see how well he continues to do. I was worried about the affordability, turns out theyre completely reasonable. Love this place so far.

Sign up your whole family!My family attends the Dale City location.... when I say family I mean literally, there are like 6 of us!We love how amazing Ms. Jacquelyn and Mr. Scott are with our kiddos. I have a 3 year old and two 4 year olds. All 3 of them learn differently and require different levels of instruction, praise and discipline. Im a completely sleepy working mom but I despise missing Taekwondo because of the benefits and social skills and disciplinekiddos receive here. And this is coming from me, a preschool Director.My husband, my sister and myself are in the adult class and I love it. Even if Im sleepy Ill get up and go to class. Ms. J, Mr. Scott and Master Chris do a great job at fostering comrades between all of us.Im excited for the day my whole family can take pictures in our black belts!!!Its definitely worth trying out for your kids, yourself or your whole family!

Dale City’s Life Champ Martial Arts is basically a second home to my kids. They really have a family and students first attitude, it’s clear they want to see all students meet their full potential. The members of the staff are always friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond in making sure I’m a satisfied and informed member. They go out of their way to know their students personally and make sure each one gets what they need in order to succeed. It’s a warm and inviting atmosphere where my kids can be active while improving their self discipline and developing confidence. It’s a clean and safe place for them to socialize and develop new skills. We are very happy to have found a place here.

Outstanding staff members they allow you to do a two week trial before making a decision. The instructors are great with the kids and they quickly learn all of the childrens name. They make it very personal and enjoyable for the kids. I highly recommend Life Champ!

The staff here at the Dale City location is great. My son loves taking classes here at the Dale City location and enjoys the day camp that Life Champ offers during the pandemic. Master Chris is a great instructor and makes the classes very entertaining and challenging for the youth and adults. The pricing is reasonable and this location has remained open conveniently for teachings during the pandemic under the guideline restrictions. The staff has done a great job in maintaining the cleanliness of the facility so that clients are safe while taking classes. This location is highly recommended to anyone who has little ones or adults that are interested in learning self defense.

Life Champ of Dale City is an amazing place for our daughter, Lena. The life skills And discipline that she has learned over the last year plus is great. She has applied herself better in her schoolwork, in wanting to help others, and takes initiative in many tasks. Learning TKD from Master Chris and staff has been great. They are all helpful, she loves to go to class all the time. The goal of earning her next belt level keeps her determined. We would recommend Life Champ of Dale City to anyone looking.

Our kids really enjoy Life Champ. They are both new to martial arts but they have such an excitement and enthusiasm about it. Our kids started going 5 months ago for their aftercare program and classes. The staff are very patient with the kids and at the same time motivate and challenge them. Amazing place. Kids love going to class and learn new things each class. The instructors are all amazing and work well with each child. The kids get equal amount of time of learning if the class is small or larger each child is attended to on their own level and is given the help they need to grow.

I heard about the 60 day challenge and decided to join it. Taking classes with my child once a week has given me a chance to see what he sees in his instructors. They really command the room, and offer helpful critiques. For someone my age I was hesitant to take classes from instructors younger than me, but I found them to be very capable of leading adult classes, which was super reassuring. After the 60 days are up I’m definitely planning on continuing my training.

We finished our trial early fall and my daughter has now reached her orange belt and is thoroughly enjoying her TKD training. Birthday parties here are awesome! Watching my tiny 7yo cut her Bday cake with a GIANT Ninja sword was hilarious!!! All her friends had fun taking a class and breaking boards, my daughter can’t stop talking about it! It was definitely a hit and by far the best price around and easiest party we’ve thrown! Thanks to the amazing staff, it’s clear they care about the kids, so glad we found this place!!

The staff is absolutely wonderful. My son was having a hard time focusing but they have been super patient with him. My daughters did not want to participate but they have grown to love it in a short few weeks. I can tell they are more focused and disciplined during class. This has been such a positive experience for us all.

My kiddo has never stuck with anything for long, so it’s amazing to see that week after week he’s excited about taking classes! I’d definitely rather see him learning self discipline and self motivation through a useful physical activity, than to waste money buying him the newest version of whatever game knowing he’ll get bored of it within a week. Putting him in lessons has been money well spent!

Master Chris is a very patient and optimistically motivated instructor. My 5 year old daughter typically has a difficult time staying focus on one subject for too long, but with Master Chris and his staff teaching, they ensure that the classes are fun, fair, and easy to follow for first time students. My daughter had a great time and was always proud to tell me when she got into position correctly or did a certain move right! Highly recommend this location for anyone and their kids to learn self defense, respect, patience, and have a great time interacting with other students and instructors.

My son transferred from the Lake Ridge location to Dale City, due to this center being closer to our house. The entire staff at the Dale City location are awesome! I don’t usually get to attend my son’s classes because of work. I always hear the highlights though, and the things he struggles with and how he plans to achieve his goal of earning his black belt. His stories alone make me so proud of his growth, however this past Friday was belt graduation and the awesome instructors invited parents onto the mat to hold boards for the kids to break. And as a dad who is less involved than I’d like, holding the board for him was exciting for me, I was showing up for my son the way I want to everyday. I can’t lie though..I got a bit nervous after his first attempt didn’t break it, and his second try didn’t either, but he didn’t seem worried, he just readjusted the board, took a breath, and finally smashed it! I cheered louder than him, so relieved and so so proud. The number 1 thing his instructors have taught him is perseverance, and on Friday night I saw it in him. The confidence and determination he has now is unwavering, I hope if nothing else he keeps exercising this new mental strength. I am so proud to be raising a kid with a black belt attitude!

This is a GREAT TKD place! The instructors are nice, caring and helpful! They truly care and have passion for what they do. My son loves going there and enjoys the tkd program and the Summer camp. I really love the Life Champ Dale City location. My child is enrolled in the summer camp program. Master Chris and Jaqueline are awesome! They are very patient with the kids while stile being able to effectively teach them and cater to each of their unique learning styles. I like the fact the the class sizes are small and the instructors make the lessons fun. They also have a really good robust summer program schedule. The kids take martial arts classes, go bowling, skating, and even the waterpark. They also have an after school program. I would definitely recommend Life Champ at Dale City. The summer camp, is super practical, I drop my kid off at 7:30 and pick him up at 5:30. The staff is friendly and provides entertaining activities for the kids including days when they go to the pool.

My son had a birthday party here and everyone was late, the staff did so well at keeping the birthday boy occupied and unaware that no one had arrived yet. The party turned out good, the kids had fun and the parents loved the idea of a taekwondo party!

Shes already gotten her white belt!
