I have recently enrolled my daughter at Star Tutoring and have been very satisfied with their services. The staff has been very personable and professional when scheduling and pairing my daughter with the right tutor based on her needs. I appreciated the initial call from Sam to welcome us to the center and learn about my daughter before pairing her with Kristen. I also received a call after the session to ensure the quality of the session and encourage feedback. I shared that my daughter immediately felt supported and enjoyed her session with Kristen and that we felt that it was a good fit for her. Kristen is very knowledgeable, patient kind and professional.There has been a couple of times that we have had to reschedule and that too has been an easy process. Their flexibility is much appreciated.

Star Tutoring has amazing customer service and is responsive to the specific needs of my child. Sam stays in contact to make sure progress is being made and if any adjustments need to be made. Tutor Nathan is prompt about emailing what was accomplished each session and what to work on. They have both been very supportive to my student!

Star Tutoring has been a game changer for us. My daughter struggled all last year on getting work turned in on time. Her grades were all over the place and all her teachers agreed that understanding the material was not an issue for her. We were recommended to Star for executive function tutoring by a friend and it has made a world of difference. My daughter is much more organized this year. No late assignments, and she gets help with any subject where she might need a boost. We even did a few sessions over the summer so she was not rusty after the summer. Sam has been so accommodating for our schedule and Nathan built a quick rapport with my daughter. I really cant say enough. Well worth the money.

My son was having trouble with Statistics and, also, had a case of Senioritis. I was worried he was too old as well for tutoring. But Star matched him up with a great tutor who helped him bring up his grade immediately and was a good example for him. Our tutor was an SMU student and he immediately had a good rapport with my son. Star was very easy to work with - a lot of easy communication to me the parent. They understood and worked with me if we had a conflict, and tailored sessions to upcoming tests. My only regret was not starting this way, way earlier perhaps Freshman year or middle school.

Star Tutoring has excellent communication and works diligently to find the perfect tutor and flexible plan to help your child. Sam is very good at asking the right questions and listening to your needs to find the perfect fit. Initially, we worked on organizational skills and preparation. My son has ADD and this was extremely helpful. it helped him get better organized and stop stuffing papers loosely in his laptop. We also did basic tutoring in Algebra and Chemistry. Finally, we worked over the summer to bring up his SAT scores. There was a lot of review, and they take many prep tests to help the student get acclimated to the time of the test .We have been very pleased and look forward to a continue relationship even long distance in college if needed. My children have been using Star Tutoring now for almost a year. They are wonderful. They have helped my kids understand concepts, work on homework, and work on organizational skills. Sam (owner) is fantastic at communication and has been flexible with our schedule as well as with the pandemic. Our kids have had two tutors, both college students, and they were very knowledgeable. Our ADHD son has really struggled over the last year because of online school. Star Tutoring has really helped us fill in the gaps and my son is finally caught up in 8th grade algebra. His needs were far exceeding my ability to tutor him and I was glad that we were able to find someone that could teach him. My daughter started tutoring this year before the pandemic hit in March and we continued to use them through the summer and now in 6th grade. They help her be more organized and assist her with her homework. When she doesnt have homework they have material appropriate for her grade level for her to work on. They work with your kids schedule to accommodate you. I have had to move around her tutoring appointment many times and we have always been able to find a time for her. The tutors are nice and helpful. My daughter likes her tutor, we have only had to change tutors once because the first one had to change schools once the pandemic affected fall 2020. I highly recommend them to help with your childs studies.

My daughter started at Star Tutoring nine months ago because of concerns I had about her keeping up with math. I chose Star because I like the 1:1 ratio, as she typically doesn’t feel comfortable speaking up in a group environment. I also love the fact that they are able to help her with any subject, not just solely focused on math. She has really enjoyed working with her tutor who is super nice and friendly, while at the same time holding expectations and accountability for assignments. They are able to help her with difficult school work, as well as work separately focus on difficult concepts that may be holding her back. She is much more confident in participating in class now, especially in the virtual environment. I’m not sure where she would be without their help!

Sam and his staff have a wealth of knowledge and work great with the kids to get organized and plan for their classes. Expect to see a marked improvement in your kids grades with their help. I also like that they dont require any long term contracts. Great guys to work with!
