I joined the medical assistant program here and just started my clinical hours. The program taught me everything i needed to know to be a successful MA and more. The staff is extremely helpful throughout the program and during externship, with services from resume building to job finding. Greg Stewart was my admissions counselor and he was one of my biggest cheerleaders! I wouldn’t of made it through as successfully as i did without him. Thank you Concorde!

Coming to Concorde has been great as my instructors Mrs Brown and Mrs. Alaboosie made Dental Assisting the life to be in with all their experiences and backed it with with making each module fun and exciting. Mrs. Neal is the cherry on the top as she made sure each student was doing well and as she always said her main focus for us was patient satisfaction and nothing less. Those three individuals prepped me to be nothing but great, Once I started my externship they loved the work I was doing and kept me for my second module and I got hired with them. I’m currently a Dental Assistant rotating all over Dallas assisting in Oral surgery and I love it.

I’m really not this type of person to leave reviews especially bad ones but a lady I’m not sure what her role even is Denise Chenault was being precise of withdrawing me out of school because on “her side” I didn’t turn in my assignments even when I sent her screenshots of proof that I had turned them in. I was being very polite knowing it was not her fault nor my fault but that wasn’t enough for her. I had no idea what to do and I asked for her help but all she kept telling me was if I didn’t turn them in I was going to be withdrawn from school. And I still showed her proof it was not my fault this was the very first time this has ever happened to me so I was stressing out to the max and she did not want to help me at all. Then I had to text Ms.Holly for help still no answer. No help from no one I had to do all my assignments again from CPSO.

She dealt with me and my nervousness (which came with a lot of messages) with a smile of her face. She never made me feel like I was bugging her (even though I know I was) she answered every question I had in a timely manner and if she didn’t know she would tell me she would get back to me when she knew the answer instead of making me wait and wonder. She was just so great to have on my side. I ended up getting accepted and am set to start school soon !!!

I took my kids to their yearly check up and turned out my babies were sick with strep throat the doc told us and everyone in home to stay quarantined 10 days. (again I DID WHAT I WAS TOLD TO DO) but now that my instructor knows there wanting to withdraw me because it’s gonna pass a 14 day mark which is extremely absurd because I have the doctors note and you guys are stating that it doesn’t matter? WHAT ? How does it not matter especially with COVID I would think you guys would take doctors a bit serious. I’m not here to rant I just need to know what to do I called the clinic I’m completing my extern and they also say I have to stay the 10 days so what am I supposed to do?Also it’s 10 days I missed not 14!Update from this morning I want to thank Ms Erin for reaching out to me and not waiting any further to try and resolve my matter it was extremely a blessing with all that I have going on at the moment! My experience at Concorde was up and down. Though there are many things I would change to improve the program, I understand that is the situation for any type of situation whether is be a job, school, etc. However, my learning experience with Mrs Sarah Smith, at the Concorde Dallas campus, was phenomenal! She is passionate about Surgical Technology and about her students not only learning the material but understand what was being taught. She always stayed professional and fair. At first her professionalism was obnoxious, but that was due to me being a difficult student. After the 15 months and realization of why she was the way she way, I not only gained a ton of respect but felt like I past my certification due to 80% of her teaching efforts. In my opinion, she should teach every subject and not just the book part!Side Note-Her job was not to teach us the anatomy of the heart but she took the extra time to and made it SO easy!

The school only wants your MONEY! They dont even help you with your career at all. I highly recommend to not go to this school. All the instructors does not teach what so ever and has attitude like crazy including the director of medical assistant. The teachers change grades all the time and threatens you. You will not learn all the material and when you tell the teacher that you didnt learn it they just say we will get to it, but never do. The director tells you that its your job to come and tell her that we arent learning all the Material. When I pay money to come and learn its not my responsibility to tell the teachers to do their job. They have the curriculum they know what they are supposed to teach but doesnt care. All we do is read the MA book and dont do lab very much. The equipment is broken and out dated so we cant even use it to learn. They are VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! The teachers treat you like you are a child and speak to us like we are dogs. We got told that we had to take our certification test the week before and the only reason why she told us is because I had to be the one and ask. If not I would have never known. And also found out the time by a student. Not the director. We had to do a practice test and the director had to grade it so we can study it for our certification test and I told her I will make a 100 on it and she told me no I wouldnt. She is the director and she is suppose to be encouraging us. But doesnt. DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL. IT IS HORRIBLE!!!!!!!

Im a military veteran and recently graduated from the RN program. I think the program has room for improvement but my biggest headache was finance. Finance cannot get their get with the program and offers little to no assistance with issues. So payments are sporadic if you get them at all. They could care less if you get paid while in school & have no checks and balances within that department. The school has potential but really needs to take a hard look into an overhaul in certain departments with problematic staff. Theres no reason to keep any staff in student services who create problems and cannot resolve simple issues. I did well in this program but was very close to walking out of school multiple times simply based off issues with staff, student services, & paperwork. Another odd issue is the fluctuation in tuition for the program as they charge the government at a higher rate compared to regular students. Any military veteran considering this program needs to take into account there will be many issues regarding pay not normally seen in a traditional college or school.

Very irresponsible of her, she should have just been honest before the girl drove 8 hours to inquire about a program that is not even available at the moment.I should have learned from my sister’s mistake but I didn’t. I was looking into this school for the DH program. Let me start by saying Angela is the worst student advisor or what ever her role is. Communication with her was a joke. I should have known. This school is waaaaay overpriced. I looked into the dental hygiene program with concord. I toured their school and let me tell you, not impressed for the price. They want OVER 66 THOUSAND DOLLARS for an 18 month program that is no better than a normal community college that would charge only about 20 grand. They say you get extra lifelong perks with things like your resume. Those perks are not even close to being worth their tuition. They claim its all inclusive. However, they provide all of your books and uniforms. Meaning you cant opt to get them for a better price on your own and we all know what a rip off the college book store can be.

This place is a joke!! I had been looking at the supposed associates in nursing. When I called and spoke with the admissions councilor Daffy( name fitting) she told me they dont offer such a course. Even though it is clearly listed on their website. I then asked to speak to a supervisor who was as about as much help as diarrhea. She said that they are not enrolling for that course, but I could enroll in the other courses. I told her that the bait and switch act was illegal. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone, glad I didnt waste my time or money in this rip off joint. Be wise and go to a real college one that is truly accredited. I have also reported them to the Texas Board of Nursing.

This school is horrible especially if you have Ms.Tish as a teacher! She never teaches nothing we learn something new once every week. She spends the whole class talking about her social life and inappropriate things. When we have our lab time she always disappears and we end up teaching our own selfes wich is ridiculous! We pay 20K for this course so we can teach ourselves. Also she always lets us go almost 2 hrs early so she can just leave too instead of using that time to teach. They need better teachers who actually teach not just waste our time!

Horrible, horrible, horrible! Lack of communication!!!!!!!! Ive been trying to get in contact with the grad rep for weeks now AND STILL NO REPLY! Ive tried emails, billions of phone calls and NOTHING! I dont have time to be going up there when it should be more convenient through phone. Many people I know have also been having difficulty getting their diploma from this school! Would definitely NOT RECOMMEND this school to anyone! Please save your money and go else where instead where they will actually help you out! This school cares more about money than education! Take it from experience!!!!

DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL! They only want your money, and they will lie to you about the course, and what you receive with completion of the program. The Medical Assistant program is TERRIBLE. All they do is have you read a book, and do fill in the blank worksheets right out of the book. The tests you have is only over Terminology, and its multiple choice. They dont teach you anything. They dont have enough equipment for the class size, half of it is usually broken, and the half that works is so dated that youre not going to have a clue what to do if you ever get a job in the real world. They dont want to work or help you with anyway at all. I could have almost a full RN degree with a community college for the price you pay here for a certificate.

I have so much to say about this school that I dont even know where to start. 1. The advisors? Yeah they are very sweet and nice and convincing. But thats it. As far as the teachers also the director of the MA program they are the worst . They dont care about their students. They dont teach everything that they are supposed to teach you. They give you attitude. They change your grades on purpose. Oh and they also threaten you multiple times. They are very unprofessional. They never give us lab time time, 95% of the time its spent in the classroom or in the computer lab doing nothing. This is me speaking about the evening classes in that school. Its the worst. There has been really good teachers that have worked at Concorde and only lasted a month in that school and then their gone. Oh yeah they dont inform us the correct way about our mandatory date in which we have to take our certification test. they tell us we have to take our certification test in 2 weeks or we arent allowed to go to extern. We are studying our butts off to pass and 2 days before our test they tell us oh yeah you have to fill out a certification application before taking the certification test and it has to be turned in 2 weeks before taking it and they sit there and lie to our face and tell us that they told us about it and we had no idea. Dont waste your time in this school. The worst.

As a parent this is a very unorganized school I have ever seen. My child Graduated in November 2015 as a MA and after she called daily as well as emailed and got no response from ANY of the staff that was suppose to assist her. I spoke to the gentleman down stairs that is over student affairs to FINALLY got her diploma in the mail last week. She has had several interviews that the school DID NOT help her get but no diploma or certification (even though she passed the test but must have diploma to file for it!) and this looked very unprofessional because some ask for them and she could not produce them and need less to say she didnt get a call back. The only thing the school has done to try to help her find Employment is have a temp agency call her and she gave them what info they needed and still no call! I called in January 2016 to ask a question about her 1098-T and as of today 3-23-16 I still have not gotten a call back. They are very quick to make you all these promises and get you enrolled and take your money but when you are done (Graduated) so are they! You can go to a community college for a third of the price and get the same certification. I would NEVER recommend this school to anyone wanting to enter the medical field.

I am really wanting to do the hygiene program and would really like some feedback from the students who are currently enrolled, and graduated. The program I hear is very competitive and not easy. I mean nothing is worth it unless you put some effort into it. I`m not looking for a school that is easy I just simply want it to be worth my money and degree, because this is something I am taking very seriously. I want to know the scoop before I dig myself into debt and make sure its worth it because you always hear a lot of bad things about vocational schools. I mean look what happened to Sanford Brown! I`m not saying the same thing will happened to Concorde. I would just like some feedback thats all. TIA

Failed hesi test twice was so close by only a few points. Really wanted to go,but cant. I comforted myself at the local Braums ice cream place (Black forest sundea). Was told to try again next year. As if Im going to do nothing for a year.Returning back to my original path. I have 4 more pre reqs plus a teas test and off to Arlington university for RN in bsn.Kudos to those who passed. I studied daily and failed anyway. Stay strong to all regradless :)Would of gave 5 stars if I was allowed to take the WHOLE test over the second time vs just the math part. Dont worry I can do the whole test again next year lol..no.

Very unorganized and once you graduate you cant seem to get any of your records. I have just been trying to get copies of my shot records from them for 2 years now and nothing not even a return call. You go into the office physically and noone is in their off to get them. They really need to work on thier staff. As a school attending there i loved it the course gave me everything I need. So i hate this. I have finally gone into the office again and actually caught someone to get the records I need and she was forth coming with them.
