As a retired professor with a 30 year career in academia, Ive no need of the services of an English language school, but as a resident of an area that includes many immigrants who arent anglophones, I acknowledge that it is beneficial to have such a place in our community.I only went there today because they were administering COVID vaccines with no appointment necessary. Thats the only thing that theyre doing today. Otherwise, Literacy Achieves is closed for today.

Great place to volunteer and teach English. No past teaching experience required. Only issue is 2 teachers teach per class and I was paired with a bossy and controlling volunteer. This can cause confusion for students when they see two teacher volunteers disagreeing.

I didnt like the fact that the staff didnt warn parents that there were children with head lice in their classes. Didnt notify parents that they will be doing head lice check. Very angry about that!
