Going to Dallas Martial Arts is by far the most life changing decision I have ever made in my life. The owner is one of the most kind hearted individuals I have ever met, he is not only a fantastic instructor but a person of great moral values. The other students here are also fantastic and very supporting of their peers. Dallas Martial Arts has not only taught me how to defend myself, but has also taught me self discipline and moral values. If you are looking into beginning martial arts, this is a fantastic school! 100% recommend!

My son has been attending Dallas Martial Arts for about a year and a half and we’re very happy about their program. Their after school is very convenient as they pick up the kids after school and they’re able to continue their homework and then and engage into their karate classes. The karate masters are very detailed, disciplined and truly create an atmosphere of family and friendship for the kids that attend. My son has improved tremendously and he loves attending and looks forward to his classes. The administrators are also great, very responsive and attentive for anything that is needed. I’m very happy about our decision to have our kids enrolled into this great school where discipline, respect, self control are amongst their core values. I strongly recommend it!

Great values! Price, morals/ethics, integrity. All the instructors are skilled and experienced. Theyre incredibly helpful and positive to be around.The kids summer camp program offers 2 field trips a week and variety of fun games keeping your kids active and moving. Plenty of breaks they wont get burnt out and such diversity with the schedules and fun.The after-school program is very different. As it should be. Upon arriving back from school, first things first, homework. They encourage the kids to bump it out of the way to get to the fun. Some kids need a little extra attention and the teachers are kind enough to be of service to them individually as needed.Great values, great for your entire family, and worth the investment. Master Selby is phenomenal.

I am proud and honored to attend DMA for the last 8 years! They are the real deal, they teach more than martial arts. Just to name a few... Self discipline, respect, and common sense. I look forward to every class and I recommend it for anybody who is looking for an all round amazing martial arts academy.

Im very happy and pleased with Dallas Martial Arts. My son has been in classes for a little over 2 years and they work with him not only on self defense/karate skills but also heavily on discipline and respect. I also cant say enough great things about their summer camp this year, they go on field trips almost daily and keep the kids very engaged. The price is also very fair compared to other camps around, Dallas Martial Arts gives you by far more than what you would pay elsewhere. The management and instructors are also great!! Highly recommended. :)

Dallas Martial Arts is definitely the best place for kids. I enrolled my son almost two years ago and he loves it. He used to be so shy before and now he has gotten so much confidence in himself. Everybody stepped in to help him become the little boy he is today. I cannot thank them enough for what they have done to him and I will definitely recommend Dallas Martial Arts. I trust them to care for my son because they care and work with kids to help them.

Very unhappy and disappointed with Dallas Martial Arts. All they are interested is to get your money and keep you as long as they can by giving you 12 month contract. And then tell you that they give you the option of freezing your contract, but you still have to pay for frozen period. And they will add frozen time AFTER the expiration of the contract. What if student can not attend their classes after freezing and paying for several month? They DO NOT CARE, they will not refund your money. If you need to cancel-ITS NOT their problem, they collected their money.We have classes in different studios and NON of them had asked us to sign 12 month contract. And NON of the studios make you pay for your frozen months. My suggestion is DO NOT GO THERE, RUN AWAY from this place. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR ACCOUNT INFORMATION, they will charge you fees without any notices. Very poor management and not Customers oriented! Their classes are very mixed up - all ages in one class. Many different levels and lots of student in one class. There are many studios that provide better service and will work with you on different terms.

I cannot begin the put into words how grateful I am for this school and what it does for kids across Dallas. I am a single parent of one and it has provided great relief to know my daughter is being not only physically, but mentally challenged and her self-confidence developed everyday after school. So many programs put kids in a room and turn on a TV.These instructors go out of their way to customize their program to the needs of each kid. They are phenomenal, extremely affordable considering the program, pick up, and after school car they provide.I am so excited to see the same changes martial arts made in me happening in my daughter. This is what kids are missing in their daily routine, and I’m happy to say my daughter will have a much better foundation given her martial arts training at DMA!

We sent our 6 year old here for after school care. Every time we picked him up we were unimpressed. Very little structure, not many kids, the staff turnover is high. It was really just glorified babysitting. They promised parents night out but rarely delivered. They had class but our son quickly lost interest in going. The owners motto of just teaching respect didnt really work and was outdated. He made some friends but I can see in hindsight why this business is really struggling. We learned later that even the schools they pick up from are not huge fans of the program. Would not recommend.

Steve Selby is the real deal when it comes to martial arts and self defense. I highly recommend Dallas Martial Arts if you are looking for a place to train and learn to defend yourself. Also has a really good youth program.

Taking a martial arts class is something Ive always wanted to do. I turned 50 years old this year, so I needed to start now or I never would. A little searching on the web brought up Dallas Martial Arts. I went to the first intro class and have been going ever since. The instructors are amazing; the classes are a serious workout and still a lot of fun; and Im learning something all the time. The experience is better than I could have imagined. Thank you!

Dallas Martial Arts is quite possibly the best thing you can do for yourself or your child. I enrolled as a child, and the discipline and confidence I developed helped me achive truly unexpected heights in all areas of life.

Teachers here are incredible - can’t say enough how great they are with the kids.

It’s amazing we get to do different things everyday it’s a lot of fun and I totally recommend this it’s so cool and this place is really unique you learn something new everyday and you start to feel like it’s your home.
