I could rate less but I cant.. This schools sucks! There is always something going on there. The own school sent me transfer papers for my son. they dont meet the minimum standards for the tests. Ill be glad when this school year is over. The only reason I havent transfer is because I want my son to finish the school year at least.

Nothing much to say. I went here. It exists. Not the best school in the world and you may hate it when you first go but when you sit down and get to know what youre dealing with youll eventually learn that everything happens for a reason.Love the fact that they always push you to do your best. I was just going to continue the line of my feeder patterns and end up at Skyline, but my teachers pushed me to apply for Townview(a very good magnet school) and I got in. Honestly, i never even thought about it. But...well...sometimes you need that little push from great teachers that can see your potential and help you find it

A very good school. Ann Richards have a lot of students who have potential to be the best and are smart.

This a beautiful campus..... However the level care given in regard to education is lacking, especially to the 6th grade classes. It is my hope that someone from DISD and Ann Richards Middle school are reading the reviews and addressing concerns from parents and students.

Its a beautiful school but it has thousands of rules that dont make sense.other than that its pretty good

Im currently a student at this school and lets just say if you send your child to this school they will come out ghetto and mischievous and probably most likely failing. Thank god I can see through this chaos and stay focused on what Im supposed to be doing. They have dumb rules now like no headbands or pants with side pockets because people smuggle drugs and candy into the school. You arent allowed a backpack and before you can get in the school to start learning they check your things. And also if you dont have a badge they send you to ISS which is very sad for a person like me to not be able to learn and I was a day behind because I had side pockets but the pockets werent real. They were attached to my pants without an opening to hold things.I just cant wait to leave! A boy threw a pencil into my eyebrow and the assistant principal (Ms.Nicks) didnt contact my mother and tell her I was assaulted at school. Just 😮 I was shocked.

My son got jumped he had to go to er.so upset went to school it happens at 12:45 to 1:25 no one helped or saw nothing mind you teachers and 7th grade principal was outside but noone saw nothing so after school I went and talked to the principal she says what time did this happen because I was outside during recess and like I told her what were you doing she says that she didnt see nothing I wonder why maybe they should look at the videos to see what the teachers and principal do at the school now today is the 22nd my son went to school with no ID so they gave him ISS okay here you know I am thinking you putting my son in the same class with the boy who jumped him and yall think its going to be okay so my son starts acting up I wonder why especially when the boys telling them hes going to whoop his ass these teachers need to get off their f****** asses and start watching the kids and off their damn cell phones to Miss Nicks I I believe her name is called me today the principal and tells me your son has two days added on to the ISS because he was disrupting class today why I guess so why dont we get one of your kids to get jumped and put them in the same class in the ISS classes the people that are in trouble because they didnt wear a badge you know and lets see what happens to your kids this is not a threat Im just trying to put you in my shoes

Hopefully the things Ive been hearing arent true because if it isnt thanks for ruining my first ann Richards experience guys but anyway five stars its mostly hate reviews but deep down theirs a few nice reviews and I think the ann Richards community could do really really better as far as the first experience review then us. especially when it comes to new students guys really lets do better next time im gonna be in 6th grade and some of you guys are publishing hate and un nice comments about the school really makes me regard myself ennrolling in five stars. GUYS DO BETTER

I love this school it makes my day every time

They wont even let you carry backpacks the teachers cuss you out and theres too much drama . Too many fights. They force you to sit and lunch not talk , turn or smile . If you do you get wrote up. 6th graders cant walk to class on the main hallway . The left stairs are shut down for some reason . You get suspended for forgeting your badge , bidner , or for just being out a simple dress code when all we get to where all week is a stupid plain red , blue , or white shirt . But 6th grade only gets to wear white. 7th grade only gets to where blue and 8th grade only wheres red . You cant even where hoodies. This school disobeys all of disd rules. They are such a bad school. Never let your kids go here . THIS SCHOOL SUCKS

Free breakfast and lunch n.n I would like more books in the library.Theres no bullying in there Im a 8th graders.

The school is beautiful, The teachers are very unprofessional. They allow students to fight in class and do nothing. They curse the students out on a daily basis. There is a lot of bullying there that is ignored. It is not a safe place to send your children.

This school is horrible ..teachers constantly saying bad words and acting so ghetto and unprofessional i got bullied my whole 7th grade year and not 1 teacher tried to do anything about it ...i now know things that I shouldnt know I was exposed to so many things but nun I can do so plz plz plz do not send your kid hear I know by experience and the rules hear are so dumb and dont make any sense

The school is ok but drop off and pick up times are chaotic and unorganizec. You can get stuck there for several minutes before any movement happens. People get frustrated and have also seen kids almost get run over and drivers getting into heated discussions. I have tried to contact the campus officer but he does not return calls. My next step is going to the school board.

Its a wonderful and gorgeous school I hope I go there this year

School has a horrible set up for the student, they do nothing to help your child when it comes to bullying situations, and forget trying to get in contact with someone and if you do DO NOT expect a call back
