I was a student here when I was a toddler. I am now 29 years old. This school is absolutely exceptional. I have very fond memories of Mrs. Carlisle and Dr. Carlisle, and those memories I will forever cherish. I have received unconditional love, compassion, kindness, and encouragement here. My parents made the best decision by sending me to this school. I will forever be attached to the school and the people that helped me to become who I am today. If I didnt live so far away from this school, I would without a doubt send my toddler here as well. I recently went to see Mrs. Carlisle after more than two decades. She is still an outstanding teacher, and will always be. It was so nice to see her, reminisce with her, and revisit the memories I have in my heart and mind of the school. They still even have pictures of me posted around the school from when I was a child. I thank these two amazing people for everything they have done for me! I can never be able to repay them!

My son has been attending this school for several years now. The program is centered on teaching independence, social skills, and manners, as well as typical school lessons. The facility is like a second home to my son. Ive loved watching him blossom as he gains new skills and friends. The teachers are as concerned with his development as I am. Its a beautiful place to send your child.

This is hands down the most wonderful school in Dallas...a hidden gem! My son started attending the school when he was 2 years old and he is 4 years old now. We live in the Bluffview area and were referred by neighbors and friends. He has excelled beyond the norm for his age group and I am amazed at his communication, social, reading, and writing skills. The owners of the school, Dr. C and Mrs. Carlisle, are so loving, kind and caring. They are the most inspiring and attentive educators. They spend time with each child and focus on their individual needs. They let kids be kids and they make learning fun.Mrs. Carlisle knows her children very well and applies this knowledge at every step of each childs progress through the school. Beyond their great teaching of essential skills, Mrs. Carlisle and Dr. C. give a richly diverse cultural education through music, poetry, and the visual arts--all taught in both English and Spanish. There is no other school in Dallas like the Carlisle School. It is wonderful. I wish my son could stay at the school until he goes to college. I highly recommend this school!!!

My life wouldnt be the same if I had not went to the Carlisle School; I use to live right across the street from the school. My dad would hold my hand and walk me across Lovers Lane to drop me off at school every morning. I learned Spanish, fine arts, classical/international music, self control (balance beam), and most importantly how to respect others at an extremely young age. Mr/Mrs. Carlisle are phenomenal educators and I thank them everyday for opening my mind and heart to things I wouldnt have seen on my own. God bless the Carlisle School!!!

Dr & Mrs C and their staff demonstrate a love of learning and patience. Our three children attend Carlisle School and they are each kind, respectable children no doubt from the teachings of Dr, Mrs C and their staff. Almost every evening our children come home eager to share the days activities, from reciting poems, sharing paintings, singing about the continents and making life long friends. Mrs Cs approach in the classroom is unparalleled. Each child receives the individual attention they require and at their own pace. Dr & Mrs C make themselves available for questions or concerns. They are always present before school opens and often one of the last to leave. The Carlisle school is very much an extended family and so are all the students and parents who attend. Look no further, you will be amazed by the care and curriculum here at The Carlisle School.

It was a difficult decision to send my son to the Carlisle School because compared to the other two daycares that are just within 5min walking distance from both our home and workplace, I need to spend 1 extra hour on the road each day to drop off and pick up my son at the Carlisle School. I struggled for quite a while and finally made the decision because there are so many good reviews about the school. And it turned out this is the best decision that I have ever made.We are still quite new to the Carlisle School. My son started about 2 months ago but I just can’t wait to post my own review about the school. My son stayed home and had never been to any daycare before he first started in the Carlisle School at age 1.5. It was a difficult transition for him. Dr. C, Mrs. C, Ms. Maria and Ms. Dina embraced him with love and care. I was very touched and impressed that even children in the Carlisle School helped out to accommodate my son when he first started school. One little boy came to me and told me that he calmed my son down when he was crying. And when I dropped my son off one day and he started crying, I saw a little girl went up to him and tried to comfort him. Nothing compares to the photos Dr. C sent me from time to time. It’s just so much of a relief and joy to me seeing him eating well, exploring the playground, checking out new toys, surrounded by friends who care for him and painting with beautiful colors on an easel!!! Not just us, grandparents and friends were just amazed!!! Every week we bring back lovely crafts my son made in the school with the help of his teachers and on Spring Equinox and Mother’s day Dr. C and Mrs. C prepared very lovely gifts for the children. Now my son comes home speaking his friends’ names, Dr. C, Mrs. C, Ms. Maria and Ms. Dina with a feeling of love and trust. He is happier, more confident, and even more well-behaved. I owe these wonderful changes to the Carlisles who provided my son with nurturing love and have lots and lots of wisdom in their teaching!

The Carlisle School (TCS) is an unassuming house sandwiched between other businesses. Dont discount the school based on the outward appearance though. This school is a little treasure. You wont find kids playing with electronic devices, instead youll hear their laughter and squealing because theyre playing outside. Most of the toys they have for children of all ages are non-battery operated. Youll find puzzles, blocks, play kitchen, a large train set, and much more. Children are free to use their imaginations and develop social skills through interacting with one another (instead of being glued to electronic devices). The school is an old property, like many of the house businesses in this area, but dont let that turn you away. The children are constantly learning in formal and informal ways. My son began attending TCS about 4 months ago, when he turned 1.5 years old. He has grown so much since he started there, and this is due to the love and care from Dr. C, Mrs. C, Ms. Dina, and Ms. Maria. The children are all treated with such love, care, and compassion. Because of this, they learn to treat others with the same respect, regardless of age. The other children have also been instrumental in helping my son adjust to his new surroundings. They greet him with excitement, hold his hand on the playground, help him up when he falls, and help feed him.I highly recommend this school to anyone!

We feel so fortunate to find this school. I used to send our daughter to schools near our house . After the disappointing experience with those schools, we finally decided to give this school a try, and it turns out that we cannot be even happier. This is a school that instill kids the love to learn , to expand the world. Every kids thrive in his/her way in this school. They learn hard , and play hard. Even now our daughter often surprises us with what Mrs carlisle had taught her. How we wish that Mrs and Dr carlisle can be teaching her until 12th grade!
