As a staff member, I love working at Uplift. I see on a daily that Uplift cares about the future of its scholars. Similarly, they care about the social and emotional well-being of their staff and families. The district focuses on ensuring that scholars successfully matriculate to college and graduate from college or assisting scholars with the career of their choice. As a first-generation college alum, I know the importance of quality education. Uplift is providing quality education via its IB program. The district serves a high number of first-generation scholars, and they are having great success! If you arent with Uplift, you are missing out! #TeamUplift

Its a really good school. The teachers are amazing and when my grand daughter went there she said that she feels so much better than her others schools, we love there.

I was so excited about my children attending Uplift when the opportunity arose but after this year I am taking my children out of their schools. The high school does not communicate with parents. I leave messages and emails and have gotten no response. Communication with parents is little to non existant and the main office hasnt answered calls the entire school year.

Thankful for the opportunity that my daughter has had the last 4 years of attending Uplift. The Uplift network has given my daughter a head start at preparing for college. She is only in 3rd grade but is already thinking and talking about going to college and how her school is going to help her get there.

Our family has been a part of the Uplift family since 2013 and we have enjoyed every moment! The small campus at Triumph always feels extra special as the teachers/staff get to know the families beyond the classroom. I have especially liked the recent transition teachers have had to make in learning and the hard work theyre putting in to make sure our scholars are doing the best they can. My 2nd grade scholar has learned to be independent and responsible for the work that she needs to complete and for a full time working parent that is a blessing. My oldest scholar is currently at Uplift Williams, also an excellent choice, and always asks to go back to visit Triumph. Uplift has been the best decision I have made for the education of my 3 scholars.

I worked here for 4 years and my two children attended. We were a founding family for Uplift Meridian and they had us sold. In the beginning as a parent it seemed like everything was perfect but once we entered as teachers;we quickly learned just how crooked Uplift is. They are money hungry. They would have us tell parents just to make sure they had a body in a seat by 10 to get the 1500 per kid🤦‍♀️. They pad test scores and make us change grades. Its a shame. We finally moved our kids to our local public school and they have had a tremendous change and love for school.

If I could give zero stars, I would. After quitting, I was told that I would be receiving a last check. They even told me an exact amount!! Needless to say, I didn’t receive it. They are trying to say that I owe them for insurance, and sick days which were not approved. All of which I have Dr’s notes for. NO ONE WILL RETURN MY CALLS!!Additionally, when I accepted the position, I was offered a $2500.00 sign on bonus. Less than 24 hours after I signed the offer letter, I was told they’d made a mistake and I wasn’t eligible for the bonus. This was the deciding factor, in whether to teach there, or accept another position. At this point, it was too late to accept the other job. Payroll certainly seems to be very “mistake” prone.I honestly believe my “unapproved sick days” are of a retaliatory nature, and that is against the law. Since when do sick days need to be approved? Isn’t that the point of sick days... Who knows they will be sick 3 weeks from now; so that you can ask for approval before? As a payroll employee, how do you get to decide whether or not to return someone’s call? Isn’t that part of your job description?I won’t even get into the behavior of SOME of the students, and the other things going on at the school/district... Unless I’m forced to write another review...

If I could give 0 Stars, I would . This school is simply a business making money off of poorly educated children who are promised a superior education. The school is full of problem kids because they are never disciplined . I had three children there and left this year . I feel so much better. You can get a better education at your neighborhood public school .

The district is superb. The report cards for the district is superior to the local ISDs. Uplift Lee, Grand, Northhills, Summit all have a outstanding report cards. We love Uplift Lee. Ive always heard back from CEO, Director, Dean, and office manager if I had concern with in 24hrs. They provide a great Education and thats what matters.

Update: I ended up receiving 2 phone calls, same day from 2 different employees who were both very helpful. And anytime I needed to get ahold of someone from the actual school location, they answer right away and are very friendly. Thanks for the help!

This is Edwards wife, if it was an option I would give zero stars. Ive been calling with concerns and complaints because I have been ignored as a parent. The last person I spoke to was on Thursday 1/31/19 by the name of Karen S. and by Friday 2/1/19, I lost my job at my childrens school working for the after school program.

This organization is not inclusive. I entered as a teaching intern. Once I shared my health concerns with the director, she made my life a living hell. Everytime I met with her she would say its only going to get harder. She even suggested that my health issues was bad for the kids. She implied that my sickness would put the scholars lives in danger. She offended me at every single encounter. At our final meeting I accidently cut her off, I apologized to her. However, she sent a message to my school saying I cut her off and failing to mention the fact that I apologized. Thus, because of her calling me slow and failing to mention the apology i was failing school. I think low of uplift because of my experience. I am embarrased for them based on this womans actions.

Horrible this school is in for the money.i thought the children were important, but it changed over time, teacher turn over rate increases children still out of uniformed at end of school year those student who once ranked high in MAPS TESTING NOW FAIRED LOW,THE PRIMARY SCHOOL SCHOOL VALUES and curriculum DID NOT FOLLOW OVER TO THE MIDDLE SCOOL VALUES and curriculum, its horrible, who cares about the parent awards...who made that up anyway..based on what..who made the most cookies ???? Are who was most concerned ???? Be sure to watch your kids report grades, visit the school often, log on to the parent portal and check daily, needs a real gym, instead of the cafeteria, how do you build a new school still needing such??

If possible, I would have given zero stars. I have emailed the CEO of the Uplift Charter Ms. Bhatia twice over a six-year period. Not once have I received a response or acknowledgment to my concerns. I guess if they ignore you you will go away.
