Before I give the negatives Ill say one thing, my son has been in this school for 3 years, Im so thankful he has gotten amazing sweet teachers the past 3 years. Any who may I say the neighbor isnt a great one surrounding the the school, they are fixing the roads when I say fixing I mean making it worse!!! This year alone a 1st grader brought a gun to school LOADED if Im not mistaken, this happened in October! Last year some person tried to call some kids over to his truck but the kids took off in the building! I dont know if it was this year or last year (cant remember) there was a shooting in the neighborhood near the school that they had to lockdown the school and our kids were in recess when it happened!! Also before winter break I went to sign my son out early because it was the last day before the break, as I was waiting on my son this young I wanna say 9year old was in trouble in the office waiting on his parents, will while I was sitting waiting this i dont know if she was an assistant or a teacher but she had a badge and she did work there that yelled at the kid infront of me (which is understandable) but told him to SHUT UP. Now if youre working at a school why are you going to use that language? She realized I was there and you could tell by her face that she was surprised to see me. Makes me wonder what else do they tell our children there!? I wouldnt take my kids to this school, this is my sons last year because Ive had just about enough. Its a really great school but so many things have happened that Im at my breaking point. I didnt mention anything about the teacher cursing at the kid but now Im totally regretting it.

Teachers are encouraging, , classes are Spanish, , music, art specialty but focus still all other great academics. I like the diversity. There is not excessive homework. great school overall

I went to Hamilton Park Elementary from 1981 to 1987 and it was and is one of the grounding defining factors of everything good in me. The greatest Elementary School in the United States.

Awesome staff! They are very friendly and the school is academically great. My 3 kids love this school.

This school is amazing my granddaughter always tells me what a awesome day shes had best of all on the first day she was so happy to be a self manager
