I have had the privilege of watching how staff and teachers treat and interact with students, and one thing I can say is they truly care for the kids. I have witnessed specifically Mrs. Amenti speak life into those kids and her spirit at the school is such a blessing to the school overall. Her interaction has influenced my decision in bringing my child there. If you get a chance to speak to her or any of the teachers you will be sold on the school. The kids speak with a sense of respect and they look out for one another. It is truly a home away from home. Overall a great school and gem in the community.

Despite this school being in the heart of the hood, they cater to the rich and wealthy. From the front desk staff to the dean of the school, theyre all uppity blacks with their noses in the air.My son received the warmest of welcomes from St. Marks but the school with staff and children that actually looks like him couldnt do the same.I wanted to see my son thrive at St. Philips and to build a healthy foundation before he went to St. Marks but unfortunately that didnt happen.If youre looking into this school and plan to apply for financial aid, look elsewhere. They like parents that have long wallets to donate on Giving Day.

AWESOME school!! Theres no other school that I prefer my son to get his education! Its so well worth the investment!!

I currently attend St.Philips School and Community Center and I can say if you are thinking sending you kid here it would be worth every penny
