S2 is one of the best companies for anyone looking to learn self defence. My wife and I have worked with Nik on everything from Hand to Hand, edge weapons and firearms. What we love most about S2 is the ability to instantly scale info up or down to maximise time and the experience. We brought my wifes father out to train with S2 after years of inaction and S2 was able to work with him while ramping up the level of difficulty for my wife and I.We cannot recommend S2 enough.

Nik is a great instructor! He gives a lot of detail behind why he is teaching you a certain method and how you should react when encountering certain situations. He creates a very family oriented environment. Everyone is respectful of one another and genuinely want to learn the art of self defense. I have trained with Nik for many years. Even though the subject matter is very serious, his classes have a lighter feel to them. I feel that learning is easier in this type of environment. Nik is very knowledgeable on all of the subjects he teaches. Unfortunately, since he has moved, I dont get to train with him as much as I would like, but I do try to attend classes any time he is in the area. I have learned so much from his classes and will continue attending whenever possible.

I had the pleasure of training with Nik before he moved to Texas, in JKD, BJJ, kali, pistols, and knife. Nik makes sure the techniques hes teaching have practical application and teaches in a way that the students build confidence and ability in those applications. Force-on-force training through S2 has easily been the best value in any defensive training Ive had, because the scenarios were designed to test tactical and shooting skills under extreme pressure--validating our skills where we had success and making clear what still needed work.
