This is a really great school! The kids do so many fun activities from gymnastics, music, water days, and they even just recently went on a field trip to the zoo. The kids learn so much everyday. I am very impressed by their knowledge at such a young age. The director is very helpful and understanding. All the kids cant wait to get back to school the next day! The interior is very bright and welcoming. Also the playground in the back looks very nice!! I have to be honest before they remodeled the playground I wasnt very sure about the kids being on it, but now that they have a new director, she changed many things for the better. I feel much better about the kids on the new play structure, and it seems like the kids like it too;) I think the back looks cleaner all in all.

For over a year now, I have had the privilege to be a teacher at Dana Point Montessori Preschool. I am always excited to come into work for the day. With the amount of kids that we have, it allows us to get very personal with the kids, and give them the individual attention each child deserves. The amount of toys and activities for the children always seem to grow! Though, many of the kids enjoy playing on the playground the most because of all that is offered outside. Between the swings, play structure, bikes, houses, and sand box, the playground always seems to fun for all the children even though their ages vary! I love all the girls that I work with, and the director is the most accomadating person ever! She genuinely cares about all her staff, the parents, the children, and the school as a whole. She always tries to integrate new activities into the school such as water days over summer, a few field trip options, and fun concerts for parents to come and enjoy watching their children take the stage! The interior of the school is very bright and colorful with the childrens art work always on display! I am so thankful to have found Dana Point Montessori!

I love this school and kids. Our team of qualified and certified teachers work hard to teach, entertain, and give love and the best care to our kids. All our kids and their parents are very happy to be with us.

I love Dana point Montessori school my son who is now 9 years old went to this school and than I enroll my daughter since she turn 2 years old she is 4.5 yrs old ! Even I movedI drive 25mins everyday to the school Beacouse my child is happy and wants to go to her school everyday and safe and it is a excellent environment!!!I want to thank all the teachers and the director to make sure my child is happy and she is learning new everyday ! 😍😍🤗

Be Cautious this preschool is an unsafe location for the kids and staff, (its next to Circle K ) it has drug dealings in the parking lot, homeless people urinating in the front of the preschool, homeless people sleeping on the entry of the gate, homeless bums hanging out in the parking lot and homeless people jumping the white vinyl gate to shower or hang out.As a former teacher there I always worried about my safety when opening the school or closing it. I had to call the police numerous times to chase the bums away. The director downplays the issue as she does not want to lose business. I would never place my kids in this school no matter how nice the director may be or if she puts a new fence up the bums will still wander. It would be a good idea to call the local police department to double check this issue.

Went here when i was a toddler, now almost done with middle school. i know im young, but i remember how awesome this place was. when i was little, my first language was russian and my mom didnt speak english, but with the help of this place, i learned the english alphabet, spelling, months, days, months, animals, etc. i learned how to say the numbers in english and spell my name at 3 years old. i am now excellent at english. props to this school

This school is amazing and I couldnt be happier having my daughter there. I have never once felt she was unsafe while she was attending school here. The staff and directors are amazing. They are so friendly and the kids love them all, I love seeing my daughters face light up when she sees her teachers or any of the staff at the school. She has learned so much in her time at the school and is always coming home and telling me something new she learned that day. I am beyond confident that she is safe and in very capable hands when she is at this school and when dropping her off and picking her up I have never witnessed anything that would make me feel uncomfortable outside of the school. My 2 children absolutely love going to school here!! I have a 2 and 3 year old and I have seen a huge improvement in their behavior since they started in March. The teachers are very loving but also very structured. My kids have learned to behave at home, clean up after themselves, incredible manners, and much much more. Being a young mother, I have learned a lot from the teachers as well! I love how small the school is because my children get plenty of one on one time. The summer program was excellent as well! Each week they learned about different things. One week was cooking, one week was different cultures like Japan, Hawaii, etc., one week was the solar system and recently they set up a little obstacle course for the rio olympics and they came home with awards and medals it was super sweet! Dana Point Montessori has been a life saver for me! Thanks ladies!!
