I went for a bachelors degree in healthcare administration 3 years ago. I am still working as a cna and no promissory of a career in the future. The classes are not equipped for the program you are studying. The staff is very rude and not helpful at all. And its like pulling teeth to get a transcript sent to another school or employer. All this school cares about is numbers for the government and money.

When I had decided to go to college I was very nervous. I thought maybe it would be too hard to start at 40 years old but I wanted to get some information and see if it was even possible. I chose Kaplan because they offered a degree I was looking for and they had a local school right across the river from me in Davenport Iowa. I decided to call first and I was right off the start greeted with an admission advisor named Kayla that was so nice and she answered all of my questions and trust me I had a lot of them. I bet she spent every bit of an hour on the phone with me. She made me feel so comfortable and after that call I really thought this could happen.I decided to go visit the school and talk with Kayla one on one and it was the most amazing experience. From the moment I stepped onto campus I was amazed at how professional and nice everyone was. It just had a friendly atmosphere and you could tell that everyone just loved to be there. They helped me to understand all of my options and we went over all of the different classes I would be taking, I visited financial aide and was once again greeted by an entire new set of challenges but they helped me walk through all of the paperwork needed and got me set up.By the time I left that day I had signed up for the next term. They gave me a tour of the school and I met many of the people that would be helping me on my path to graduation. I cannot speak for anyone else but as for myself I had the most amazing experience and will continue to as a Kaplan Davenport student for a few years to come for sure. This school is not just where I go to learn. The people here have made me feel very important to them and when I do go into the school it is like visiting family.Kaplan Davenport is more than just a school. It is a home away from home filled with people that want to help you succeed.

Do not waste your educational career at this campus. I received my Masters degree in legal studies from this campus. Several weeks previous to completing my degree I updated my address. Upon graduation I made several calls to the campus regarding my address change to be certain my degree would be delivered to the appropriate address, and each time I was ensured the address was correct. I made several calls to the school because while obtaining my degree there were several issues that demonstrated an extreme lack of organization.I received an email that my degree was shipped, and unfortunately the address was not correct. I immediately contacted the Davenport, IA campus in which I attended. Explaining the error in address, I was told to wait for my degree to ship, and upon failed delivery, I could then make an address change per UPS. The school did not assist in resolving the issue at all. I was again told I needed to wait for the delivery to fail before I would be assisted by the school. For a student to not only graduate, but to graduate with a Masters degree and to have High Honors, but to have no clue as to when the degree earned will be received due to clerical errors is unprofessional and disheartening to say the very least.

My husband started school at Kaplan University and had a great experience, he suggested I see what they have and see if anything interested me. I went to the school and talked with Kayla, who was a great help in helping me decide which path to venture into to. I have to say the teachers and tutoring staff (including Marie Rossman) are always willing to help you succeed. I was having a tough time in accounting and if Marie and her staff where not there to help me with it I would have failed. This is a great school that is more than willing to help you succeed every step of your journey. I am so glad I decided to go back to school at Kaplan University.

Kaplan University has afforded me the opportunity to obtain my Master of Science in Higher Education. I had a remarkable experience with the courses and professors. I graduated in 2015 with a cumulative GPA of 3.9! I would recommend Kaplan University to anyone who is interested in furthering their education!

When I first my Associates Degree, this school was fantastic!!! Slowly but surely the school started going down hill with communication and support from staff to students which is not good. I feel that students need support not only from loved ones but from staff as well. Im not talking about all staff because their are a few selected ones that will go over and beyond to make sure students have the tools that they need to succeed. The school went from having 15 to 20 students in class down to 4! Majority of the classes are online in which I was able to adapt. I miss the lively hood of the school and spirit. If Kaplan is able to regain the communication and support among students then they will get 5 stars because during my Associates that is how they were! Change is sometimes hard but its how you communicate that change so people can learn how to adapt! Thank you

A joke of a school. All they care about is numbers and money. They do not care about you as a student at all. I was pushed back a year total just so they could make more money. Dana Hamilton and Connie Bishiop claim to run the place and help you all they do is lie to you and paint a pretty picture of what you could have. All of it is a lie. Do not waste your time with this school and your money.

Kudos to Kaplan! I have to give 5 stars to Kaplan Univerisity! I was able to achieve my Masters degree in Nursing Education and graduated with a 3.95 GPA. Distance education is not easy. You have to be committed to the time and effort you need to put into your studies. I have been afforded to work in such places as prominent hospitals in the Baltimore area as a nurse educator to include Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing! Higher education definitely makes a difference in your lifestyle. I have seen at least a $20K increase in my annual salary as a result! I received both my Bachelors and Masters with Kaplan. Would have done my Doctorate (started at another institution) but I had had enough and Kaplan did not have the DNP program at the time. Excellent school, excellent professors most with their Doctorial degrees (know their stuff). Cant say enough good about Kaplan; they fit my need to work F/T and my schedule!

I feel like the classes are great but I feel like they are awful administratively. Financial aid has been an absolute disaster and I transferred from another school and it was the worst process ever. They are very unorganized and have high hold times when you call so it has not been a good experience since I have been a student with Kaplan that k goodness I have two classes left.

This college gets a bad reputation sometimes. I was hesitant to attend here myself but it was within my budget constraints and they assured me of their accreditation. I have never been more satisfied with a decision i. Regards to esucTio , than I am with the decision I made to go to the Kaplan. Not only did the advisors reach out to me when there was an issue, but they also reached out to make sure my education was coming along nicely. They didnt simply sign me up, take my money, and forget I existed. They invested themselves in my education. I would recommend this school to anyone.

I have been a Kaplan student for nearly 3 years now. I have graduated with an Associates degree in Human Services, and am currently working on my Bachelors of Science in Psychology. I would recommend Kaplan To anyone I talk too. My experience has been absolutely wonderful. From the very beginning with my enrollment representative Micheal Bys, to the financial aid departments, and most certainly the professors, the Dean of Students Lisa Hanson, and many others, I have been treated with the utmost respect and care as a student. In particular, my student adviser Dana Hammil, has been a rock of support for me in my quest for education. She is always available to me. Even if she is not immediately available, she returns my calls and emails promptly, and has the answers I need. I can definitely say that I trust her with my educational life. She always is willing to work with me and my goofy schedule, I always feel like she has my best interests at heart. I cannot stress enough how important a good adviser is for any college student, but especially someone like me who is older (43) with a wife, 3 children, a full time job, and all the other responsibilities that come with those things. Dana is amazing. Because of Dana, and really all of the people that I have worked with at Kaplan, I certainly feel like a member of the family. Kaplan is fantatstic!
