One of the worst middle schools in the Quad Cities. I attended this school 10 years ago, but clearly it hasnt changed. Fights then and fights now. Teachers were constantly yelling at and harassing students. If they didnt want to deal with you they would find something wrong with your outfit and try to fit it into a dress code violation, send you to the hall for the entire class, send you to the principal, or to in school suspension. There were kids getting into trouble all of the time for very minor disruptions that the teachers didnt care to deal with. This caused students to not only receive a poor education, but also got them labeled as problem children. A male teacher in the building would put girls with bigger breasts in the front row of the classroom and stand over them while they worked making everyone uncomfortable. I hope he is no longer employed at this (or any) school. While I attended I remember a science teacher slamming a female student in a door in a fit of rage. I had honestly hoped that this school had gotten a lot better now that I have children of my own.

Overall its a good school but the teachers could be a little nicer . I loved it. But some of the teachers should change careers .

Im still in this school and Im going to high school in like 6 months. The school is ok, but I feel like they could change some things like lunch options and the attitude of some teachers. All in all, its an ok middle school.:|

I went there for 2 yrs (7th & 8th grade), 1961-1963. It was a good time to start growing up & I had a crush on a guy named Pat Hackett who never even knew I was alive. LMAO.

I went w i s in 1967-69 very nice new decent school then i and i believe it still is som kids were arrogant but thts th way it is prob best sch i ever went to. good teacherss i liv in los angeles,ca now.scools here r very inferior to ia.i went to beverly hills hs ,hollywood hs. nothing compared to wis and whs dav.nice girls also.miss it v much.mayb ill b there summer 13 4 visit.who says u cant go bak.bak then it was calld w junior hs. th u

All Davenport schools are a mess. Overcrowded, just a pass the kids through no matter what grades they have
