I am writing a long overdue review of Pine Trails Ranch. I am a late in life, always wanted to learn, rider. I started out with very little knowledge, and despite this the staff/coaches have been patient and encouraging and TEACH me. The horses are well cared for and the folks that are there love them and love what they do. I enjoy watching all levels there learning about the horses. In case you cant tell, I really appreciate this wonderful facility.

Instructors are amazing! They are very well versed in the behavior of horses and children. Horses are well trained which helps with the confidence of the riders. The grooming aspect of the lessons are absolutely essential in helping riders understand horse behaviour and bond with their horse. It also teaches them independence, responsibility and care for the horses.My girls have been taking lessons weekly for several months now and the progress theyve made is absolutely awesome! Its wonderful to see the bond and respect the riders have for the horses. We are thankful to have found this place and would recommend it to anyone looking to learn how to ride or want to sharpen their skills.

The rance is very pretty. Very pleasant experience, the horses are very well taken care of, the ranche is in good condition and the owners are exceptionally humble people

Wonderful facility that prioritizes a well-rounded educational experience. Many of the horses used for lessons are patient rescues that love all of the attention from riders. Amazing staff and happy animals!!

The owner and staff of this facility are fabulous. Michelle and her crew are extraordinarily knowledgable. I’m in my 50s and wanted to fulfill a childhood dream of becoming a skillful rider. I feel proud of my new found ability to take a horse from a pasture, groom her, and saddle her up for a ride, in addition to all I have learned in the saddle. I also love the relationship I have developed with the horse I am leasing. Horses are truly amazing animals and there’s so much we can learn from them. It is an experience like no other. I cannot recommend Pine Trails Ranch more highly.

Pine Trails Ranch is amazing and should get WAY over five stars! All of the horses are awesome and well trained, and Kat is an amazing instructor. Michelle is very good with horses. It is an amazing place to ride for both beginners and intermediate riders- I love Pine Trails! I am a 10 year old that rides there.

What a wonderful place for kids to learn how to ride horses and to take care of horses. Fantastic teachers and well-trained horses

I have been at Pine Trails Ranch for over two years and I think its a great place to learn to ride. I have been to a lot of different barns over the years and have found a lot of great things here. Michelle is knowledgeable and approachable, and is really great for learning classical dressage. This is a great environment for beginners and kids! Inviting and friendly.

I am a VERY beginning adult rider and have been taking lessons at Pine Trails for a little over one year. The experience has exceeded my expectations. My instructor Megan is a patient and skilled teacher and the owner Michelle is knowledgeable and truly gifted with horses. All of the instructors are wonderful with children. This is a great place for people of all ages to learn to ride in a safe, friendly environment.

My four year old daughter LOVED her first horse back riding experience at Pine Trails!!! The instructor Alexa was kind, patient, fun and had my daughter feeling like a cowgirl in a single lesson! The owner Michelle is wonderful too! We LOVE Pine Trails Ranch!!!

You spend all your time brushing down and feeding the horses; very little time riding. You pay to look after their horses rather than to ride them.

This was the worse experience I have had. One does not ride on a trail, one only goes in circles. I was scheduled for 2hrs and most of the time was spent getting the horse, preparing it-brushing the hair, getting all the things necessary to ride on it- all that goes to prepare a horse and your suff- boots & helmet. I was 30 minutes max on the horse. After the 30 min lesson, one then walks the horse back to the barn and puts all the stuff away. A waste of time and money.

Really would give a no star. Awful experience with summer camp. Our child’s beginner horse class was forced to clean out a geldings sheath by an UNSUPERVISED 12 yr old boy who was supposed to be assisting the instructor. Called to complain and the manager was very unhelpful and unsympathetic. Absolutely ridiculous and I wish I had a list of parents from the class to notify.

My wife takes horseback riding lessons at Pine Trails Ranch every Sunday evening and absolutely loves it. I think she would also be content paying the reasonable lesson rates just to hang out taking care of the horses and equipment actually.
