I went here for 1st thru 9th, and it was a great education. They teach hard work, honesty, and Christianity.

Starting in 3rd grade, I attended Grace Valley Christian Academy from its inaugural year all the way through 9th grade in 2005. I am so grateful for the academic and spiritual instruction I received there. The teachers and staff care and want every student to succeed both academically and spiritually. Since graduating I have gone back and visited during chapel services, open houses, and all other events - and the school is only getting better! Every open house I always look forward to visiting the science room, and theres even a Robotics class for Junior High students. Recently, they started a High School too. I am so blessed to be living in the local area, and my wife an I are looking forward to the day when we can send our kids to Grace Valley Christian Academy.

I graduated from Grace Valley Christian Academy in 2000 and am so thankful for the wonderful education I received there. Thanks to the caring and competent teachers and staff, I was well-prepared academically and spiritually for high school, college, and beyond in my pursuit of a career as a PA in family medicine. And so when it came time to choose a school for our first child, we couldn’t think of a better school to send her to than Grace Valley Christian Academy. I have also attended Grace Valley Christian Center for over 20 years and can honestly say it is a place where true biblical doctrine is taught and lived out--my family and I have been tremendously blessed!

Attended this organization of Cult group around my junior year of my college. Worst decision of my life. Pastor and leaders abusing the authority of Gods word by shaming family members in front of church pulpit. Many kids that grew up there eventually left the church. leaders and pastor kept talking about them in front of church pulpit. They also kept hiding secret things from church members. Just be careful when you attend this cult Place!! There are some crazy stories which you will hear and are true !!!

As a member of the original 6th grade class when Grace Valley Christian Academy was founded (1998), I can say without a doubt the school provided the educational foundation I leaned upon throughout my academic pursuits, and even now use in my professional career as an IT Strategy Consultant. The small class sizes and care of teachers for individual students is unmatched. But the academic rigor isnt even the best part - the ministry to my spiritual needs is what sets Grace Valley Christian Academy and the associated church, Grace Valley Christian Center, apart. I am eternally grateful and indebted to the clear, biblical teaching and community life of both the school and church. I am thankful God brought me back to the area after a time away so that I can raise my family here and hopefully send my children to Grace Valley Christian Academy!

We are so pleased that our three children have the opportunity to attend Grace Valley Christian Academy. Our children have been challenged academically and encouraged spiritually. We are most thankful for the clear Biblical instruction that our children receive at Grace Valley Christian Academy. The principal and the teachers have set a high standard of achievement which has led to our children being able to exceed their own expectations in many ways. This has been a great blessing for our entire family. Our children love going to school and this is in no small part due to the outstanding efforts of the teachers to keep the children engaged and excited about learning. A number of the teachers at Grace Valley Christian Academy bring real life experiences into the classroom from their careers in medicine, engineering and veterinary medicine, among other professions. GVCA is an important ministry of Grace Valley Christian Center. For more than forty years, the church has proclaimed the Word of God in this region, emphasizing both doctrine and how we should then live. Our family is very thankful that God has placed us here at Grace Valley Christian Center.

My three children attended Grace Valley Christian Academy the first year it was established (1998), and without a doubt, they have reaped many blessings from attending this school. Now our first grandchild is attending Grace Valley Christian Academy and it is a joy to see him thrive academically and spiritually. We are so impressed with the academic rigor at GVCA – as well as the excitement for learning that is developed in these young students.At a time when evil is so pervasive, it is a tremendous blessing to have a school that stands for Biblical morality, and helps parents train their children to be godly men and women. What a great blessing Grace Valley Christian Academy and Grace Valley Christian Center are to us and our family – a true oasis where sound doctrine is taught and lived out.

I am extremely grateful for the instruction I received at Grace Valley Christian Academy, as I was taught to value education, learning and a strong work ethic. The teachers take the extra time and effort to ensure each student will not only succeed academically, but is thriving spiritually. I have leaned in all aspects of life on the solid foundation and guidance I have received at both Grace Valley Christian Academy and its founding church, Grace Valley Christian Center. After moving away to study engineering, I returned to the Davis area because of the rare combination of excellent Biblical teaching, loving leadership and tight-knit community found at Grace Valley Christian Center.

My nephew has been attending Grace Valley Christian Academy for two years now and Im amazed with how much he learns there. I was so impressed when I saw him reading in kindergarten! He has an extensive vocabulary for a 6 year old. They truly provide a high quality education with a strong academic focus. In addition to strong academics they also provide a welcoming learning environment. Anytime I speak with my nephew he excitedly tells me about his teachers, classmates and what hes currently learning. I wish there were schools like GVCA in southern California.

Our four boys have all attended Grace Valley Christian Academy from the age of 5. The Kindergarten staff, curriculum and set-up was top-notch and each of our boys were challenged at their individual levels. I was surprised at the vast amount they learned as they progressed through the grades. This school is always improving itself. My favorite addition in recent years is the Science Lab. Grace Valley Christian Academy has always been science-rich and the lab just makes science more real and down-to-earth for them. I am not at all surprised that our oldest two are heading in the direction of science for their future careers. That is what you get when you were conversing excitedly about cells at the age of 9! Our boys often come home exuding with enthusiasm about their latest science experiment, Robotics class or history presentation. If you are looking for a school that will prepare your little one for success you have found it in Grace Valley Christian Academy.

Although this page is for GVCA, Ive seen a number of reviews that mentioned GVCC, so I felt inclined to briefly share my experience with GVCC:I started attending GVCC in 2014 while I was a student at UC Davis, and I have been greatly blessed by this church. I receive godly counsel from loving and learned church leaders, I hear the preaching and teaching of Gods Word multiple times a week, and I am built up by members of this church family regularly. I also have made lifelong friendships here and met my wife here as well, so I am very grateful God has brought me to this place!

We are truly blessed to be at the GVCA School for 4 years. Our children have received the best possible education at this school. The teachers are highly educated and experienced. They always show a genuine care and concerns for the children. We highly recommend this school to anyone.

We were first drawn to Grace Valley Christian Academy for the rigorous academics and the strong biblical teaching. All of the instructors are highly trained and disciplined in their fields, and while they set high expectations they have always been so very patient and encouraging. Our children have benefited tremendously through the years, and we would recommend GVCA to anyone!

As a 2003 graduate of Grace Valley Christian Academy, I continue to be grateful for the strong educational foundation I received there. Not only did the teachers ensure that my classmates and I learned the course materials, but they also genuinely cared about our futures, and cultivated in us a strong work ethic and a love of learning. The 20 students from my graduating class used these essential tools provided to us at Grace Valley Christian Academy and have gone on to successfully pursue various careers in medicine, nursing, occupational therapy, engineering, teaching, and biotechnology (just to name a few!). Though our school days at the academy are long behind us, many of us still attend Grace Valley Christian Center and enjoy the biblical teaching, loving leadership, and vibrant community which continue to provide us with all the tools we need for success in both our physical and spiritual lives. This school and church are a priceless gift!

This school seems wonderful academically at first sight. It doesnt take very long to realize however, that there is deep seeded abuse going on. The teachers mainly consist of people who have been born into and raised in this small church community. They believe their pastor to be the voice of God and there is a lot of cult like behavior going on. The students are also mostly close knit and if your family hasnt been in the church for a couple of generations then you will not belong. It can socially and spiritually hurt you and your family.

Amazing private school with fantastic teachers who really care about the students academically and spiritually. Many are current and former professionals who also take time to teach at the school. Having professional engineers as my geometry and physics teachers in junior high set me on the path to become a successful Professional Chemical Engineer today.

Our family was so impressed by friendly mood and strict management of scholar course of the Grace Valley Christian Academy. In addition, my oldest daughter(5th grade) was so happy by attending diverse interesting academic classes as well as amazing extracurricular activities.

Please note that this post pertains towards GVCA, not GVCC:The education I received between grades 3-7 were, without a doubt, a significant contributor towards my academic success and overall level of intelligence. On the other hand, given that I grew up in the church since adolescence, I can verify that many of the negative comments here towards GVCC are well-founded; my family and I finally left when I was thirteen.If you arent a member of the church, my advice would be to send your kids to this school, but remain wary of getting sucked into the micro-socio-political scene. You must be resilient, thick-skinned, and continuously reinforce your values upon your children. If you dont, the consequences could be severe. However, if you can successfully compartmentalize the two, your kids will receive a fantastic education. If not, you all may wind up drinking the kool-aid.This is the first post Ive written about this establishment since leaving the church fifteen years ago. It is not intended to offend the inside, but to inform the outside. One love.

I went here for a while. It is a really creepy drama filled place. It is based on the Pastors interpretation of everything and they view him as a prophet who speaks directly from God. They tell you who to date, who to marry, who to vote for, and who you can and cant be friends with. The place has more drama than a high school. They also cover up abuse to keep their leaders looking good.

My two grandchildren have been attending Grace Valley Christian Academy for the past four years over which time I have attended many events, graduations, chapel services, and performances. I cannot say enough about what a wonderful place this school is – the academic rigor is only outshined by the atmosphere experienced when you step on campus - which is warm, safe, and loving, yet fundamentally structured around high moral values. I am so very pleased that my grandchildren have the opportunity to attend this school – the growth I’ve witnessed first-hand in both of them academically, behaviorally, and socially over the past four years is so very clearly attributed to the superb teaching offered at GVCA.

Raised in this church, it genuinly has scarred me for life

This school is just absolutely terrible. Avoid this place if you can. But if you want to send your kid there, then you had to have had a relationship with everyone at the church . for a long time. If you dont, your kid will have a hard time.

This place is a well-known cult in Davis.

One of the worst in the area,avoid this church if you can.

Try Avoiding this place...too much Drama

This school has been satisfactory both academically and in school for the past year as three of our children have attended. The teachers are good and there are many good friends in the class, so our children who are poor at language quickly adapted well and their English skills improved a lot. I still miss my classmates ^^
