I have been enrolled in Kumon for the majority of my elementary, and middle school career, and it has helped tremendously. Mrs. Heier taught me skills that have allowed me to become a better student in the classroom, and skills that I still use to this day, as a sophomore in high school. Kumon is a great program that can help any child become a great student, and I recommend it to anyone.

My daughter has been a Kumon math student for almost two years, and my only regret is not starting her in Kumon sooner. Math went from being her least favorite subject in school to her favorite subject. She always received very good grades in school, but I have seen a substantial improvement in her standardized achievement test scores in school (in math) since we started the Kumon program. Most importantly I have seen her confidence level sky-rocket. I have referred multiple friends to the Kumon center in Green Bay and will continue to do so.

I highly recommend the De Pere Kumon Center! My son started Kumon 9 months ago, we see measurable results. Before joining Kumon, it felt as if math homework consumed our evenings. We were both overwhelmed and frustrated. Homework time was long and often ended in tears. Now, my son does his math homework on his own, usually in the car on the way home from school. He no longer fears his math homework. His new math confidence is evident as he quickly works independently through his homework. He is proud of his math work and his school report card (all perfect scores in math)!Update 6/25/2015 - I wanted to share with you my sons most recent STAR (Standardized Testing and Reporting) Math test results - Percentile Rank (PR): 99, math skills are greater than 99% of students nationally in the same grade. This score is above average... I am positive that the De Pere Kumon Center helped him achieve this score.

I was part of the Kumon math program for about 8 years and I still use study skills that I learned through the program. Kumon has provided me with a jumpstart in high school math too.

Kumon has helped my daughter. The honest feedback of instructor to my daughter has helped significantly increase her score at school testing.

I was signed up for Kumon for 6 years and through Kumons Math program I learned a lot of things that I use now in High School. I would recommend Kumon to anyone with a goal of succeeding or improving their math and reading skills.

As a mother of a struggling learner, I have tried many different supplemental reading and math programs in order to find the one that meets most (if not all !) of my childs unique needs. Kumon and Mrs. Heier provided just that. My child struggles with ADHD, Anxiety, and especially Math. Mrs. Heier provides a learning environment with clear, consistent, and predictable expectations and routines as does the curriculum of Kumon. All of those things are what my child needed in order to start finding some success and more importantly, build academic confidence in herself. We are very pleased with the progress our child has made since joining Kumon. Both her math and reading test scores in school have improved.

Ms.Heier is very intentional and thoughtful with her instruction. She has many years of experience and this is clear. My almost 4 year old has learned to sit and focus on tasks, that before Ms. Heier, he would struggle to make it through. She has a great way of engaging with students. She is clear, firm, and consistent. My wiggly, giggly son very much respects her! We also really appreciate how Kumon focuses on mastery rather than just moving kids on. We were looking for a program that builds strong foundational skills and actual understanding of concepts, Kumon has proven to be that. We highly recommend Ms. Heier and her vast knowledge in the area of reading and math instruction.We read reviews before meeting with Ms.Heier. We actually feel the opposite of the review about very shady bar and sketchy clientele. We find the area of DePere the center is located in to be very charming. Also, we dont attend Kumon during typical rowdy bar hours, so weve never felt uncomfortable in anyway :)

Waste of time and money. Doesnt teach new common core math only teaches the older school math processes that teachers are marking down for. Located next to a very shady bar with sketchy clientele. There is a tattoo shop right across the hall as well that is very sketchy as well with shaded windows and a smell coming from it. Very inconvenient to get to because its hidden in a back alley.

My son has been attending math at Kumon Depere Center for the last 4 years and I would definitely recommend this center.Ms. Marynell Heiers teaching practices and Kumon program have helped my son to become more independent, confident, motivated, self-sufficient, and also benefited in developing the positive attitude towards learning.

We would highly recommend Ms. Marynell Heier and the De Pere Kumon center. Our son has been attending math classes at the Kumon center for the last 1 year and Ms. Heiers teaching style and the Kumon program have helped him tremendously, both with building confidence as well as improving his ability to quickly solve math problems at school. Ms. Heier is very particular, organized and methodical. She will show the kid how to solve a problem initially but then requires the child to think and solve problems on their own regardless of how long it may take. This has helped him in that he does not get easily frustrated and stays focused on getting to the solution. We are glad that he is part of this program.
