Ziah has been teaching dance for more than 20 years. She is a very dedicated instructor and performer whose teaching style is very easy to follow. You will enjoy her easy-to-follow directions and how well she breaks down movements to make them easy to understand.

Ziah is an amazing teacher. Her classes are fun and she is able to break things down in different ways for each individual to learn what she is trying to teach. Ziah also throws in bits of knowledge about the history and current information of the dance, music and culture. She promotes an accepting and inclusive environment and the seasoned dancers are also always willing to give tips and pointers. They are great classes for any level dancer.

Ziah has been teaching belly dancing for 20+ years and it shows. She is incredibly knowledgeable and wants to share that hard learned knowledge with her students. She makes learning fun and when I leave her class after a long day at work I feel energized. If you are looking for any level of tribal belly dancing, this is an amazing class for just about anyone. The other ladies in the class are all nice too, so fun all around and great exercise. Thanks for teaching us tribal belly dancing, Ziah! :)

I have been coming to dance class here now for two years. At the end of a long work day, I may be tired, but I know I am going to feel invigorated by the end of class. Ziahs breadth of knowledge is amazing. Her way of seeing what a student doesnt get or explaining a move in more than one descriptive way never fails to bring me up to speed and keep going. Im new to dance, so body awareness is a big issue for me, but Ive learned so much and how my parts move that I want to make dance a larger part of my life (I just performed in public for the first time about six weeks ago!). You can drop in for class or you get a better deal to sign up for a month, and there are classes for beginners as well as more experienced dancers who might be visiting the area. Its fun, Im moving, and my life is enriched as well. Come to a class and see!

Ziah brings every ounce of her 20+ years of performance and teaching experience to each class -- shes a powerhouse of information and skill. I recommend her classes or private instruction for anyone looking to improve as an ATS dancer, tribal fusion dancer, or professional belly dance performer, including work with props and zills.

Ziah Ali has been teaching and performing tribal style belly dance in Atlanta for 10+ years. She has laid a solid foundation for this art form, and offers instruction of the highest quality. If you are serious about developing your dance, this is the studio for you. If youre pursuing belly dance for fun or fitness, youll find that here as well. Whatever your goals, you will be welcomed by a supportive dance community.I am a former student who studied with Ziah for several years. Although Im not able to take classes at this time, I stay connected because of what Ziah is doing for tribal belly dance in Atlanta and the southeast region - offering great ongoing classes and amazing workshops with internationally-renowned instructors, and producing the award-winning TribalCon tribal belly dance conference every year in February.
