I loved my time at Tsunami. Sadly, I had to move for work and I severely miss the people here. We have a son with Down syndrome and Coach Paul has him fit right in. The kids have fun but still learn about being a good person. It is not so strict that the kids cannot have fun. They do games but still learn about martial arts. It is wonderful to see kids of all ages, races, genders, types interacting together.

Love the team and my experience at Tsunami MMA! My wife introduced me to the gym for kickboxing classes and we had a wonderful time working out during the classes. The gym owners and trainers did an excellent job of taking individualized time with people during class to make sure your technique can improve and how to get better. We havent been in a while because we moved to a different neighborhood farther away, but I would love to get back there to see the new location and cross-train.If youre considering visiting or joining the gym, absolutely do it. Youll feel great, stronger, and learn some excellent skills for both self-defense and overall health and wellness.

Tsunami is not a “meathead” martial arts gym. They train hard, but with safety and the spirit of martial arts deeply ingrained in everything they do. Bruce has trained with some of the greatest martial artists of our time and as such is a force to be reckoned with in any arena! That being said he is one of the nicest guys youll ever meet and hes great with kids too!

They have great instructors and really care. Throughout the pandemic theyve been professional, worked to move online with minimal disruption and made classes fun for my 5 year old (who hates zoom!), then were very responsible when they moved back to in-person instruction. We love Tsunami!

This place is awesome! The coaches are good. My 10 year old daughter have been having a lot of fun here and learned a lot of TDK from a beginner. She goes there 4 times a week, without missing any class except the Saturday one when she has another class to take.

Absolutely love this place! There is something here for the entire family. While my son was in jiu jitsu I did kick boxing. I always tone up quickly doing kick boxing. The entire staff is skilled and knowledgable of their craft. I highly recommend it.

Very family friendly environment. The instructors are thoughtful and capable. Its still a growing gym so sometimes your partner may be a beginner or you may have to practice the basics, but its about the community and the results you get are going to be determined by what effort you focus on yourself.

Very friendly atmosphere and knowledgeable staff. It’s a new gym that is still establishing a name for itself, but all you have to do is walk in a see for yourself the dozens of medals and competition belts in the hallway. Very skilled BJJ instructors.

I cant say enough about how awesome this place is. I was a member for a year and the kickboxing classes helped me to lose 40 pounds last year! The only reason I left is because I moved out of state. Our son has been practicing taekwondo at Tsunami for almost two years. He works hard and enjoys it. The instructors are very knowledgeable and effective.

They know how to teach skills in a fun and rigorous format that my girls really enjoy. The best dojo around. The atmosphere is charged with positive energy empowered by the students and teachers. The staff are extremely supportive and knowledgeable. From the moment I walked in I was welcomed and was able to watch classes to determine which activities I wanted to participate in. I would highly recommend this dofo they are family! I tried a few different places to start training BJJ. I chose this place for a few reasons. 1) Everyone in the class from the instructor to fellow students are awesome and very helpful. 2) Theyve got a lot of different classes if I want to try anything else. At the moment its just bjj but I can see myself taking a few others just to try them out. 3) They have a number of different bjj classes for varying skill levels. 4) The place is small enough to feel like a local gym but large enough to attract a diverse group of folks. Most importantly, the bjj classes arent huge but there are still quite a few folks in every one. 5) The support staff was welcoming and friendly from the time I walked up til now.There are quite a few folks that Ive talked with who are much more experienced and skilled (in bjj) than I am and they give the place a thumbs up.

I decided to give Tsunami a try after my boyfriend who does jiu jitsu there (and loves it!) told me about cardio kickboxing classes. I considered myself a pretty fit person so I wasn’t intimidades by the class, little did I know the class was absolutely brutal. It was SUCH a good workout! It was extremely challenging because all of the coaches at Tsunami push you to your limits because they want you to get stronger and better. Since then, I’ve been going 4-5 times per week because I LOVE their classes! The coaches are great people who are passionate about what they do. They’re so helpful and they really do care about you. I’ve had nothing but wonderful experiences at this martial arts gym and I can guarantee you that you won’t regret joining it! Not only are the coaches wonderful, but the owner is also super kind. The place is very clean and all of the students are kind, helpful, and friendly. If you’re reading reviews to decide if you want to join the gym or not, DO IT! It’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I feel so much stronger and healthier since joining just a month ago!

Love Tsunami MMA. I do the Cardio Kickboxing and all of the trainers are very professional and are really good at teaching techniques and making sure you get a full workout.

Tsunami MMA has been a truly great place to train. Not often can you find a gym that is both family friendly and has seriously skilled, knowledgeable coaches. Tsunami takes the best parts of a McDojo and a Meathead gym and offers something truly unique for students of all ages.

My children and I have been training at Tsunami MMA for over a year now. Everyone is encouraging and positive and the gym is very beginner and family friendly, in addition to being able to coach more experienced or advanced student. The kids are learning valuable skills like, discipline, perseverance, character, and self defense in addition to staying active and having fun. My kids really love going here.As an adult who has never been particularly athletic, this year has been one of development. The coaches have been motivating the entire way and now I have my eye competing. As soon as the kids feel ready, they will be competing too.They have adult classes for Taekwondo, Muay Thai, BJJ, and cardio kickboxing and kids classes in Taekwondo and BJJ. Tsunami is a family friendly gym that is very welcoming.

Tsunami is a great place that offers a variety of disciplines, with something for everyone. I take cardio kickboxing and get an intense workout. There’s also Taekwondo, with separate classes for kids and adults. The children’s classes involve serious training but also seem fun, and the kids appear to love it. During the summer, there’s a martial arts camp aimed at kids. On top of this, Tsunami offers Muay Thai Kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for kids and adults, so there’s something always going on. The instructors all know their stuff and are friendly and personable. If you want to delve into martial arts or just keep fit, you can’t go wrong with Tsunami Mixed Martial Arts.

I really like this place, the groups arent too big, and the trainers seem really knowledgable, plus you get a great workout with the muay thai.I just hate the fact that there are no prices listed on the website, and when you finish with your free trial is when they tell you prices. It sucks to take the classes, find it really enjoyable and then find out you cant afford it unless you sign a 2 year contract.And to break the contract you have to submit in writing amongst other things and its just too much unnecessary steps in my opinion.
