This place is my children’s second home while my husband and I are at work. They are so wonderful! My son has been attending since he was 7 months old and he is about to 4 years old. He has grown so much socially and academically, he is so smart. I love that they do activities to keep the children engaged. And change the learning themes weekly. I love that they communicate so well with my husband and I with our children’s needs. They serve them well balanced and creative meals. My infant daughter now attends. She is almost 7 months old and started at 10 weeks. Ms.Kayla has done so great with her. She is very detailed and communicates well, which I VERY much appreciate. She has handled my daughter with the best care, which initially made me nervous in the beginning because of my daughter has a rare condition. I am happy they are so accepting and willing to learn with me about my daughter and her condition as she grows. I am so blessed to have them! Check them out you won’t be disappointed!

We LOVE Springbok Academy. They have made our transition to daycare with our first kiddo so smooth. They are knowledgeable, kind and great at communicating. We feel like our child is being cared for, and well educated at a very early age.

My 2 1/2 year old son has been attending Springbok since he was 6 weeks old. Our family is very happy with them. We appreciate their communication, particularly during COVID as they have kept us very informed. In fact, many times when licensing standards have allowed more leeway, they have elected to follow a stricter COVID protocol. We also love the curriculum - our son comes home with new words all the time, and they even do potty training. Our son is always happy to go to school and see his teachers, and they are always happy to see him.

After snowmageddon destroyed springbok facility our church was able to accommodate springbok until their school was repaired, so I was able to see how they operated from within and I was overwhelmed with the passion of teaching they had for all the children, from 3 month to 6 year olds .from nutrition to bilingual every child was cared for. And if I had small children they would definitely be a springbok student

My daughter went to Springbok from 7 months to 5 years old. The peace of mind of knowing your child is in safe hands is PRICELESS. Springbok is hands down the best infant-kinder school in Denton and surrounding. I also cannot speak highly enough of how well they have handled all the adjustments needed to keep kids, parents and staff safe during this pandemic. No school does a better job of preparing kids for Kindergarten either! We will forever be grateful to the Springbok crew.

I was so nervous about putting my infant in day care, especially during a pandemic, but the team at Springbok has been nothing but wonderful. I can tell that my son is really cared for and safe. Ms. Kayla, the infant teacher, has been amazing about giving updates and I know that my child is in good hands!

I have been taking our 4 year old grandson to Springbok since he was about 8 months old. It has been a great experience for him, and for us. The teachers have all been wonderful and loving, and he is thriving. He loves the play time with his friends, of course, but is also learning along the way, and I believe he will be well-prepared for kindergarten next year.

My daughters father called and complained because our daughter was crying all day and the women who was caring for her would not console her at all. She would stay on her phone and just tell my 9 month old “you’re okay, you’re just mad” rather than actually trying to help her. I was working with the younger babies right next store and was having to listen to my daughter scream bloody murder all day with nobody caring for her. The other babies she was caring for were crying like this as well. I was taking a breastfeeding break and when I came out, I was told that Liz (the owner) wanted to speak with me. When I got in there, she was immediately VERY hostile with me. I have been a very good worker for her and tried very hard to keep all of the babies as happy and healthy as possible while in my care, I even get to work 20 minutes early. She was extremely angry, even began yelling at me and demeaning me telling me that “I’m 19 and she’s 40 something” when this conversation had nothing to do with age, she just wanted to make me feel bad! I wasn’t even upset at all! She started saying things like “this isn’t going to work” and fired me. I was telling her I understood my daughter needed some time to adjust and it would be hard, but if the women caring for her could just show her a little love and make her feel welcomed rather than abandoned then she would probably adjust much faster and better. Apparently this women isn’t capable of holding my 9 month old at all or even any of the other children because she has other children to look after (although she was just on her phone most of the day!) This facility also does not allow people to take lunch breaks and told me I wasn’t allowed to be on my phone in the bathroom for my breastfeeding/pump BREAK! She was completely unprofessional and rude, definitely should NOT be working with children.

We moved to the Denton area back in late March and my two girls started shortly after. And let me say, this school has been nothing short of a blessing for our family. The entire staff at the school was warm and welcoming to our family, really helped with the transition to a new school and a new town. They even helped us connect to other parents so we would feel the sense of community. They have also helped my oldest catch up to the rest of the class and prepare for kindergarten. The three main things we were looking for in a school were: 1. They take care of their teachers, 2. Love & Treat our kids as if they were their own, 3. Make learning fun and actually teach things. The excel immensely in all those categories. We are forever thankful for Springbok and the staff there.

Springbok Academy has been a great experience for our daughter and our family. The balance between free play time and education is well done - our 4-year-old thrives and thinks its all fun, and comes home with new skills and knowledge daily. Her teachers have always been kind and nurturing, understanding the needs and mistakes of small children while keeping high expectations for behavior and social skills. We love Springbok, and recommend it to all our friends!

We love Springbok! Both of my children have attended since they were 2 and 4 years old. My oldest comes back every summer for camp. They are well cared for and they learn so much. Springbok keeps me well informed of any changes or concerns with my children and are so thoughtful in their approach to guide them through any rough patches.

The way I like to describe Springbok is a gem family thats hidden in the heart of Denton... I cant praise Springbok enough for what theyve done for our son Izzy. We had gone through 2 other preschools until we found Springbok (third time is a charm). This isnt your normal daycare place... The teachers care, the director cares, and they will go above and beyond for each child. Our son had developmental issues due to not being able to hear for the first year of his life. They have been so patient with him and have worked with him to get him on track with the other children his age. They send out pictures every day of things theyre doing, and they make school pleasant. I feel comfortable leaving my sweet boy in their hands. Not only are they on top of their game with academics, they have personally spoken with us regarding our sons development, they recommended places, and they have been the ones that reached out to us about it! Did I mention they care?! They love each and every one of the kiddos as if they were their own.I am not one to recommend daycares/preschools as it can be a hit or miss... but I can confidently 100% say that you would not be disappointed if your child attended here. They keep their classes small, do a lot of group things with the kids. They are a legit school, not just a babysitter.Thank you guys for everything yall have done for our son.

We have sent both our Boys to springbok, and have known then for 8 years now, and would not trust anyone with my kids more than Ms. Liz. They learn a lot and by 8 year old stays well ahead of his class now in 2nd grade. The kids loved going to springbok, and never had any complains. Ms. Lauren, is also an excellent teacher and professional. Overall the staff are very compassionate as well, I generally see them patting them to sleep, having them sit in their lap, and rolling and playing on the floor.P.S. We did try other places before joining as they had a waiting list, and most places are basically a place to drop the kid off so that you can go work, not a place where they can learn and develop skills.

We have had two children go through Springbok Academy. They have taken excellent care of our kids. Our kindergartener was very, very prepared for kindergarten-level skills in reading, writing, colors, and the overall school experience. They communicate well with parents, and we have been very happy with the overall experience.

This just happens to one of my favorite places in Denton, I love that my son is safe , happy, he is loved here. Every day he is excited to go to school to see his friends and his teachers. He is constantly engaged, learning new and interesting things. They keep him so busy with developmentaly enriching themes that I have yet to get a “I don’t know or nothing “when I have asked about what he did in school today. We absolutely couldn’t have asked for a better place for our son .

Would caution parents against using this facility- awful experience. My kids were removed from springbok early 2017 after a HORRIBLE encounter with the owner, where she and other staff members mistreated my five year old daughter. The day we withdrew, the owner literally yelled at me and lunged at me red faced and angry in front of two other adults in the room. Incredibly unprofessional behavior. I hadnt talked to her since. With it being the new year, I sent her an email recently requesting the document showing what we had paid for the first part of the year for my income taxes. I also expressed in the email my disappointment with how horribly the situation had ended. No response. I sent a follow up email the next week and she quickly responded with the document and a catty insult about how she was sorry to hear Im not over it yet. She was apparently so upset by my emails that simply stated my opinions about our experience with her business, which I believe I am certainly entitled to have since it is a free country after all, that she ended up literally calling my place of employment in an attempt to get me in trouble for using my work email to contact her (I did not get in trouble by the way)- she did this almost A YEAR after the fact- the spitefulness and desperate need to try to have the last word is pathetic. Borderline stalker psycho behavior. Id stay far away from this place if you want your kids in a kind or nurturing environment because springbok is anything but that. Its being run by a vindictive middle aged woman that behaves like a 14 year old girl. My kids entire demeanor and behavior changed drastically for the better once they were away from there.I really dislike writing negative reviews which is why all my other yelp reviews are positive, but when it comes to childcare I think its important. There are far better providers in the denton area. The positive reviews on their Facebook page are mostly made by employees, by the way.

-Education here is awesome.-My 3 kids (who has previously had issues learning or talking due to premature birth and health problems), have all flourished here. They have a great education system.-They can be a bit hostile to some parents.-That being said sometimes I feel a bit of hostility from them when we ask any questions. I always feel hesistant to ask a question because it feels like a stupid question to them. Ive also heard some complaints from other parents on this.-Accepts CCMS-Expect to pay for stuff/donate-Sometimes its expected of you to buy something or donate something. And they do stuff at least once a month so if youre thinking of coming here you need to budget that in to your monthly expenses. I would approximate it to average of $15 per month per child. We have three so that ends up almost $50 a month for us. Its not REQUIRED but it seems to be expected.-Cant drop off at certain times-So I completely understand this rule but I dont like it. But you cant drop off (and preferably dont pick up) your kids during nap time. Which is from like noon to 2. Ive had to pick up during nap time before but they dont like it.-Drop off and pick up is confusing at first-So if youre coming early in the morning you can expect to drop off your kids in a separate room rather then in their actual classrooms. Same if you pick them up late in the day. Our kids go from 7a to 6p almost everyday. So we got used to it but it can be confusing . Especially if you pick up or drop off at a weird time one day and its not your normal spot/time. Lol-They eat there.-So one thing I love about sending them to daycare here is that I dont have to worry about food. Like at all. From breakfast to lunch and snacks are all provided. That being said they dont accommodate allergies and youll need to send something if theyre allergic to anything. They send you a menu each week on Tadpoles, so you can base it off of that.-Tadpoles.-They have this awesome system where teachers can leave notes, send you updates midday, you can put drop off notes, recieve notices, see what they ate and when they got their diapers changed etc. (unfortunately it is expected of you to have it though so if you dont like it you might have to get over that)-If theres something going on they tell you-So like a few weeks ago they had some kind of lice outbreak and they sent out notices with updates every so often. But I feel they are a bit TOO dependant on it. I prefer face to face updates about diapers and such because I remember better.-Bring your kids stuff.-So if they are in diapers theyll need wipes and diapers stocked at all times. They will need their nap mats (which you pick up on fridays and drop off on monday and are required to wash everytime). But otherwise thats about it. I would just suggest labeling them because Ive lost a bunch of coats here already. Bring an extra change of clothes for them as well. Dont let them send them home in their clothes. Especially if you dont do laundry often enough because we kept forgetting to send back their clothes and since they werent labeled as their clothes, we couldnt figure out what clothes were theirs and which were ours.-Calls CPS... a lot.-My kids often times refused things like brushing their hair. Or would get into lotion in the morning and a bunch of other things. Because mornings are hectic I didnt always have time to fight over this fact. CPS was called by them at least 2 times. Both times CPS dismissed the case because my kids were cared for otherwise. We ultimately changed daycares because of lack of communication/app based communication only, and the CPS problem.-Isnt very secure.-Anyone can walk in anyone anytime and there is not always someone guarding the front. With recent events this kind of scares me. But they recognize/remember peoples faces and wont just let anyone take kids.

I worked at Springbok 18 years ago so there was no other choice for my children since Mrs. Liz is still in charge! She is an amazing leader who runs the facility to a T. She listens to parents concerns and takes the necessary steps to do whatever it takes to make Springbok the best for our children.

It’s very bad management, my baby used to go there for two months , she got scratched on her face, and they said she came to the day care like that which is not true , the owner has no clues how to handle situations with parents, she is rude and disrespectful, she is not supposed to be around kids, she ended my baby care , just because My husband showed her in the camera, she was fine when he dropped her off, also I wasn’t happy with their cleaning , I don’t recommend them for any one
