This studio came into my life when I least expected it and has been such an incredible blessing! The instructors all have their uniqueness but are each so extremely knowledgeable in ballet (of course) but also teaching a wide range of students. They will walk you through anything and are considerate of everyones needs. I am so excited to be a part of Broche and to continue my journey here for a long time :-)

I have had a 36 year hiatus from ballet(18 to 54 years old) and I love Broche ballet. There are classes for every level. What I have found difficult in the past with other studios is the only adult class was a beginners class and so I would be placed in a regular ballet class with teenagers. Now I am in class with all ages and all levels and never feel embarassed or stressed. The individual attention given to technique amazes me and has really improved my dancing. I leave there each week happy, light and content. Thank you Broche for all you go. Margie

ANYONE CAN DANCE. Its true! I danced for several years when I was younger, but high school and life got in the way. I have missed ballet ever since, and considered joining a studio as an adult, but I was nervous about being grouped with tiny teenagers with extensions and jumps that I knew my 40+ year old body would never achieve.I found Julie and Broche by a stroke of luck, signed up for a free preview, and was hooked!! Ive been dancing with the studio since November 2018, and feel happier, stronger, and calmer. Ballet is so intense that it forces you to drop all your outside stress at the door, and just learn and feel the movement. It is a much needed break from real life.Ive taken classes with MANY of the teachers, and they are all wonderful. They each have their own strengths, but the constant is that they affirm your experience and praise your improvements, while giving gentle and sensible correction.JOIN BROCHE TODAY. You will be happy you did!

After moving back to Denver, I was super nervous I wasnt going to find a ballet family that I had formed in the Midwest. After trying four different studios, I settled with Broche. Best. Decision. Ever! I started taking one class...then two...then three...I absolutely LOVE dancing at Broche. I had tons of bad habits that Julie, Cristina, and Jessica do not let fly.Im so lucky to have a team of instructors who care so much about their students. Simply cannot wait for our showcase.

The bright beautiful energy that resonates with Julie and Kristen during class is wonderfully encouraging. As a late bloomer (nearly 50) to ballet, my nervousness about joining a program like this melted away immediately upon walking into class. The instructors are positive and super supportive throughout class and have a special way to make you feel at home in this new environment. Classes are small enough and set a pace that allows you to work through corrections and really learn how to develop a new discipline in ballet. Thank you Julie and Kristen for being so kind, so patient and for making this such a wonderful experience for me. xoxoxo

Broche Ballet is a fantastic studio! I danced when I was younger but after a break of many years, I was very nervous to get back into ballet. I wanted to find a place to dance that had real, technical ballet classes but wasnt pretentious or too serious. This is that place! Julie is wonderful at ensuring proper technique in a fun, welcoming environment. The only negative is that the studio is pretty small. The plus side to this is that the classes are small too meaning you get really personalized training. If you have some experience with dance and are hesitant to start again, this is absolutely the place for you!

Julie is sweet and hardworking and really makes you feel like you can indeed become a beautiful ballerina when you feel more like a newborn giraffe. Try it out!

It’s hard to explain how much Julie has done for me as a dancer and a human being. She has the most incredible faith that I can become a ballerina, and her quiet reassurance makes me believe it too. Because of her I started on pointe—something I’ve always dreamed about but never thought I could do. She believes that starting ballet later in life is no hinderance to a serious ballet training. She doesn’t just move through exercises and say “good job”—she stops to correct body positions and to diagnose why my ballet doesn’t look “pretty.” If I don’t understand or her correction doesn’t work, she finds another way to approach the problem. She gives me ways to strengthen my body and increase my flexibility between classes so that when I come back to the studio I’m ready to make incredible progress. While I may never become a “professional” ballerina she assures me I’ll get a chance to wear a tutu and show off what I’ve learned to my friends and family. It’s a dream come true!
