I attended Cook Street Culinary Arts for the day program about 4 months ago. LET ME SAY IT WAS THE BEST EXPERIENCE AND BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK! Since then I started my own private chef business and it has done extremely well! I owe most of my success to cook street and the AMAZINGLY TALENTED CHEFS ON THE TEAM! CHEF D, CHEF BARB, CHEF ZACH, CHEF SAM. AND CHEF JOHN ARE ALL AMAZING, HIGH QUALITY PEOPLE/CHEFS! I was very impressed with the whole process. Lindsey the owner and Kevin the administrative executive where unbelievable and made the process enjoyable and easy in such a trying time. They recently asked me to come back and speak.... I was beyond honored and excited!Anyone looking for a fast, effective, efficient, and high quality program MUST attend here!

Took the Valentine’s Day class and had such a great time. Sam is so awesome and made it a really fun experience. Plus the food was just excellent, not to mention the wine!! They were very good about COVID and safety which was nice too! I would highly recommend for a date night!

Can I just say that this is the perfect spot for date night. Doesn’t matter if it’s your first date or if you e been married 50 years! Food has a way of bringing people together and even though I’ve been cooking most of my life, there were still things I learned during our evening. Never thought I would ever make a chocolate soufflés but we did - and it wasn’t as hard as I thought! Step outside the box and you’ll never know what you can learn! They offer many different types of classes and this was only our first! We will be back for sure!!

Staff was excellent, thank you! Would love to see several improvements though. 1) they’re using nonstick pfas pans which is strange for culinary professionals to begin with, but also sad because you’re spending over $200 to eat some forever chemicals with your food. The pans are all ratty and broken down too so you’re getting extra pfas in your blood. 2)as several reviewers have mentioned you start eating around 9:15, after over 3 hours of work. With covid regulations it’s not a fun and relaxing 3 hours either. So you work for 3:15 and then quickly eat for 0:15 before the night is done. We were trying to have a relaxing and fun date night so wanted to cook for maybe an hour or two and then just chill. I cook every night and knew this was a cooking class but still thought I was “taking a night off” to have fun. Instead it felt like I chopped veggies for the entire night and then ate a few bites and went home. Maybe trim the cooking portion down to 1-2 dishes and 2ish hours so there’s time to enjoy? And if people want to learn knife skills while the rest of us are drinking wine, cool? And please get some stainless steel pans. And during covid times could work stations be set up at individual tables so people could eat and drink and enjoy the entire time? Anyways, thanks to the great staff! But we wouldn’t redo the class for these other reasons.

Did the Spanish night couples cooking class. Seemed disorganized, two chefs with the more experienced being less comfortable teaching a class. Food was good, not great but good. Should be timed better; was scheduled for 6-, ran 6-9 before appetizer course was edible, dinner ended around 945.

This place is perfect for a firm event. It’s located around the bars, and the stadium. I like the interior design a lot. The food they provided was really fresh and delicious. However, for the curriculum itself, I expected it to be more than just following the chef and cooking with all the material that was already processed. All I needed to do was putting it on the pan and put some salt on it. Generally, it’s more like a restaurant with a little experience of making food.

My wife & I thoroughly enjoyed the learn how to make sushi class last night. 2 instructors grades: 7/10 & 9/10. Learned proper rice making, salmon & tuna cutting, julienned veggies, and made enough sushi and sashimi for 6 people ... we took most of it home with us!! Very with while. And, yes, very good COVID safety practices!

Attended the Essentials I series and enjoyed it so much that I immediately signed up for the Essentials II course. The facility is great and the equipment and food are of high quality. The best part though is easily the instructors. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and encouraged any and all questions. They were more than willing to speak with people about things that werent even related to the subjects of the evening and explain as long as it took for you to fully understand. Absolutely worth it!

I had a blast at the Essential I class. John Parks was a wonderful chef/teacher with a wry sense of humor, a ton of knowledge, and the ability to put people at ease. Lots of very cool people attended the class also. A very practical mix of techniques, food science, and a foundation of why things taste good. Nice facility where everyone has a chance to get hands on experience. Highly, highly recommended!

Did one of the date night events (Cuban theme) with my wife. The staff was very friendly and personable. They were quick to answer all of our questions and give us tips. While we did get to cook a portion of the meal, we would have enjoyed it more if we were more involved in the rest of the meal as well. Overall good experience.

I had the chance to attend one of their Spanish Cooking classes at night. I had a lot of fun and I thought our instructor, Chef Adam was very helpful with every thing from technical questions to more simple questions. He also provided his email to the class for any follow-up questions, which I thought was very helpful. I would definitely plan to go back.

Overpriced date night classes with minimal interaction. Good food but not really much of a class. Had purchased a class for my girlfriend and I . We went to the French culinary date night class and got to 1) cut up and saute onions, 2) put premade onions and bacon into a bowl 3) sprinkle salt on a steak and watch the other guy grill the 4) mix spices into butter, and 5) eat. Wholly underwhelming and a waste of $240. Like I said, good food but not a class. More of a marginally interactive dinner. Staff only provided minimum details as to what went into the food or why. Merely that they did it. No recipe cards or anything useful. Very disappointing.

Date night cooking was oddly uncomfortable as much of the food made by the group was unusable. By the time we were ready to eat what we had made it was ~9:30pm and we were starving. Seemed somewhat disorganized. We were also under the impression that some wine was included in the price, but it wasnt so this made for a more expensive evening. Wouldnt recommend.
