Love this school! We even stayed in the area after our lease was up just so my son could continue to go here! Teachers actually care about the students. This includes even kids who need a little extra help to catch up and be where they need to be. Best elementary school in Thornton in my opinion.

My nephew goes to school here, everyone is super friendly and they always have new learning activities for the kids that help them learn faster my nephew read his first book in kindergarten and now that hes in first grade hes reading at a third grade level!

Our girls have been attending Mc Elwain for 5 years now and they ABSOLUTELY love it! I have the HIGHEST regard for Mrs. Sonia, Mrs. Catalina, Ms. Mc Court, Mr Chambers and of course Mrs. Sanders just to name a few. They truly bring out the BEST in their students and go above and beyond for the families at Mc Elwain. I only wish there was a better way to thank you!
