My 4-year-old granddaughter is in their first steps program. I see her excitement knowing that she gets to go to school that day and always has lots to report after she is picked up about all the wonderful new things she is learning. The staff all seem very caring. I know my granddaughter adores her teachers and she has made many wonderful new friends. The Montessori style of learning is a wonderful way to allow your children to learn. You will not regret having your child attend this school. You should check it out!

I have two children at Monarch and they have done an excellent job of keeping the kids and teachers/staff safe during this pandemic. The online learning was very organized and engaging when the school had to be online and in person at school has also been extremely thoughtful and organized. Our kids love going to school, love their teachers and they are thriving in their learning. We can’t recommend this school enough!

We have been at Monarch for about 6 years with three kids in the pre-school and the elementary school. Words cannot express how fantastic the teachers, staff, administrators, and other families are! They are passionate about education and the Montessori model, they love each of the kids individual and committed to fostering their learning, leadership, and independence.

My kids went from home school to Monarch. They were very worried but the staff and teachers made it very easy for them to transition. Distance learning has been tough for everyone, but between the 2 schools that all of my children attend, Monarch was the easiest to adapt to.

Monarch is such a great school with a community feel. I know when I dropped my daughter off, she was well taken care of. The teachers are genuine and nurturing and really care about our family and our childs success. I love the approach of Montessori as I saw so much growth in her time there. We love how the Montessori approach cultivates independence and freedom to explore. My daughter has a strong need to explore and loved coming to school. Our situation changed and we had to leave but when the opportunity arises, we will be bringing our daughter back to this great school.

Little to no discipline, authority rarely recognized by the students and Administrators. Majority of students are pretty good, well behaved. Staff works hard, but must have support of the Administration. At will release of an employee is just that. Never taking into considerations that employees obligations to family and self.

Monarch is an incredible school. My daughter is a 5th grader there this year, and has been in one of Monarch’s programs since she was 4 months old. The staff and teachers are dedicated to helping each child achieve their full potential not just academically, but as a person as well. I couldn’t have asked for a better formative environment for her.

My son has gone to Monarch for 5 years now He has had the same two teachers for the last 2 years and my family and I are very happy with his teachers and the team that supports him at the school I can tell that they value his education and also value him as an individual I know that they definitely care about and love my son and have done everything in there power to see that he gets the help he needs. They also believe in coming together as a community and helping one another and those are the values that they teach the kids in the classroom as well as acceptance and working together and whether its what teachers working with a group or teachers working with individual children. I must say in this school and my sons classrooms these teachers are on it.

We moved our 6 month old here after a negative experience at another daycare. Our daughter was always happy at drop off and pickup. The teachers were all very calm and attentive, and had good communication with us about her day. I really appreciated the variety of toys and layout of the infant room. We were so sad we had to move out of state recently. Im really glad she was there even for only a few months.

Overall the school is better than some. Issues (for me): school does not stand behind its Mission, Vision or Core Values.Preparing all students to excel in education and in life-it seems they dont care if y child excels. Provides a holistic approach to learning; tailor to the individual need of each child, enable the child to develop within himself, independence, self discipline, self respect and respect for others and the environment my child is at a level ahead of the others, instead of proving him the opportunity to move forward, they labeled him as a behavior problem child, who needs special attention, is that in line with the Vision? The teacher I interacted with was not patient with the children, provided no details about my childs day when asked- acted like I asked for something private. I have had several children in school and have friends in the teaching industry, I have not experienced this prior. I would chose a different school. With improvement and dedicated leadership, the school could be great.

We enrolled our infant daughter in their First Steps program when she was six months old and we loved it. The teachers care deeply about each of the students and have lots of training and experience in both Montessori and ECE. Its never easy to leave your baby, but I appreciated knowing that our daughter had a great time and was nurtured and encouraged every day.

More homework than schoolwork and the most frustrating immature teacher Ive ever had to deal with out of 15 years of sending my kids to school. I cant wait to put my daughter back at mcGlone!! I cant believe I wasted 2 years being frustrated with this place! And the director should have stuck to fundraising not kid raising.. definitely a bad choice

My 3 kids attended monarch for 3 years after my son at age 7 did not wanted to go to school no more, his previous traditional school called me every day to tell me how bad my son was behaving I was so desperate and hopeless till a friend of mine told me about monarch Montessori, went over to check the school and loved the Montessori way of teaching I drove 20 miles back and forth for 3 years and it was the best decision ever my son after not wanting to go to school was so motivated and enjoyed going to school, the teachers are fenomenal engage and my son loved going there. Now he is ready to start middle school. I really recomend this school.

My baby has been at Monarch since he was 5 months old (starting in Dec 2015). He has been in Val and Rosys babybird class and I have nothing but good things to say about our experience. For background, we were previously enrolled for 2 months at Knowledge Beginnings in Stapleton and it was AWFUL. Monarch was such a welcome relief.Val and Rosy are competent, communicative, and loving. They have both been at Monarch multiple years and really love babies and put their hearts into their work. I never worry about my sons well being. If I ever have a question or concern they are quick to respond and help figure out a solution. I cannot emphasize strongly enough how grateful I am to them for their love and attention with my son.Staff is also great. Everyone seems to know our son and say hi to him by name when we are there. It feels like staff is all family. They are friendly and great at communication. The only downside is all the closure days because they also have the school. A lot of days off throughout the year which is problematic with work
