My daughter is in the toddler program at MAC and loves being there. I believe she is truly thriving at this school. Shes become so independent, fearless and is certainly finding her voice. I feel great knowing shes able to be herself and grow in the supportive environment MAC creates.

Our son has been at Montessori Academy of Colorado (MAC) since he was about a year old. My wife and I have been incredibly impressed by the quality of care and education provided by the staff. Its not inexpensive, but you definitely get what you pay for. The teacher-student ratios are great, the kids get so much engagement and exposure to different things - art, music, outdoors, etc. Weve been incredibly impressed by the quality and dedication of the staff - they truly take pride in their jobs and are committed to the kids in their classes. Our little guy has made incredible strides in his development, skills, social interactions, etc. since he started at MAC. We couldnt be happier.

Our daughter has been at MAC now for three months, and it has been wonderful. The teachers are amazing, and strive for the perfect balance of nurturing and structured learning. Although its a bit more expensive than some other daycares in the area it has been worth every penny. The school fosters a great sense of community and was one of the best new parent decisions that weve made.

Our daughter is in a primary (preschool) classroom at MAC and we feel really lucky to be there. Because her particular classroom lacks an after-school option, the teacher-student ratios are even better than whats typical at any Montessori preschool and the classroom environment is so peaceful. Her teachers are calm and engaged and provide clear, consistent direction that helps the children stay interested in their work while progressing at their own pace. We recently had an opportunity to observe the classroom and we stayed for over an hour because it was so darned interesting. My three-year-old actually spent 40 minutes working alone on one task, only to switch up and work for 40 more on another project. Im not calling her out as special at all--this was typical of every kid in the room. If you want to expand the realm of the possible for your childs attention span, consider Montessori education. ****Note: I love this school but gave it only 4 stars because of the outdoor environment, which is pretty urban, noisy, and not at all shielded from the street. I understand the school is fundraising for a project that would make the play areas more private and a little greener. That cant come soon enough!****

Our son has gone to MAC since he was 6 months old. We have only been impressed with the level of knowledge, commitment, and care of all of the staff at MAC. From the infant & toddler rooms, to the art and music classes, to the after school teachers, everyone has been great to work with, and our son is doing amazing as a result. I would encourage anyone thinking about montessori education for their young child to consider MAC, you wont be disappointed.

The distinction between day care and school is the biggest difference for me since Henry started at MAC. The seriousness with which the staff takes the Montessori approach is meaningful, and before exploring our options when moving to Denver, I hadnt known much about how Montessori worked. I couldnt be more pleased with the outcomes so far and my family intends to pursue Montessori education for as long as is practical for our child(ren).

Not really good in teaching they are teaching their same old philosophy that i tought montessory schoo for overl 30 years ago they are still teaching and using their same old material to teach our new upcoming generation. I went in the classroom to check it out and their was nothing improved and new to my knowledge and they even took out their maps to teach geography and it seems they never changed their classrooms and they are very close minded and teachers are not well educated and their school dont care about kids with any special needs and are not given any care they should receive and i wouldnt recommended them. I went to their school and saw the same equipment 30 years ago. Nothing seems to change.

As both a parent and a teacher at MAC, I know that my children and I are in the best Montessori school in Denver.
