We come down from Fort Collins every Sat. to do fencing. My daughter loves it. Own your sport, try this amazing sport. Yes find your voice. Parents can grab a cup at COLFAX & IVY or sit in the gallery to watch. We also appreciate the daily technical fencing daily to stay dialed in, innovative idea. Thank you Coach Elaine.

My daughter has been fencing at this club for 7 years now. It has been a great experience for her. She has not only learned fencing, but discipline, responsibility, sportsmanship, teamwork, and other important life lessons. She has gained confidence in herself through the activities she has undertaken at the club. Having spent a lot of time at the club, I can say that it offers a safe and well-cared-for environment for the kids, both for summer camp and for regular season training. Highly recommended.

My daughter has been fencing with Elaine since she was 4 years old. Elaine has been the best coach and role model. The atmosphere at Cheyenne fencing is one of a kind with all the animals she has to the other fencers you will never feel out of place, they all make you feel so welcome and at home the kids can just be them self. I have seen some kids go one being very afraid and scared and come out very outgoing and not afraid to try something new..I highly recommend Cheyenne fencing to all.

We love Cheyenne! Elaine is an awesome teacher who balances tough love beautifully. The space is filled with animals of all sorts that make it a unique experience for the kiddos learning to fence.

This business is home to animal neglect, child endangerment, coerced labor, and abuse. Owner and head coach Elaine Cheris puts on a great initial show until eventually the unavoidable decomposition underneath makes itself apparent. Elaine does not do background checks on her employees who she forces to work for unfair wages and in filthy conditions. The animals in the facility are not cared for and live in filth as well. Children are not supervised and left unattended with dangerous adults and in an unsafe and unclean environment. It is advertised as a fencing gym, but coaching is rare and comes at a very high cost.

Amazing treasure of a place! Elaine is great. We have been going to the club since my daughter was 7 years old. She calls it her second home. She gets the training, love and lessons about values of life from Elaine. I cannot recommend it enough.

My son has been going to Cheyenne Fencing Society for over three years now, he loves going to the club. They really make him work hard to keep fit but they also focus on technique and tactics of fencing. You only have to see how far some of the members go in competitions to see that they have a competitive edge.My son has always enjoyed the fencing bouts and comes away from class so happy. The club is good at working out the different learning styles of the members and Elaine is especially skilled at finding what motivates the kids.It seems a very relaxed place, with various pets around to greet you and it sometimes is chaotic at class change over times but the discipline in class is apparent. I would recommend this to any parent who has a child that has not found a sport they can be passionate about yet. It is a pretty cool sport too.

My two children participated in fencing with Cheyenne Fencing Club for five and seven years respectively. I will always be amazed and grateful for Elaine Cheris. She is the best role model I could have ever asked for. She is kind, accepting, supportive, and teaches by example. My children learned a skill, but more importantly, they learned sportsmanship and teamwork. Elaines magic is that she never pushes the kids. She teaches them how to push themselves.

I have been fencing here for the last three years and have never had a single complaint. The coaches, Elaine and Conrad, push students to improve their skills as well as their mindsets. This fencing club is the best in the country and I would recommend it to anyone.

Elaine and Conrad have helped me go from a beginner in the sport of epee fencing to becoming a member of the US national team in modern pentathlon. They have given me a solid base in fundamentals with an eye to my individual strengths and weaknesses which has helped me develop a fencing game that works for me. I cant thank them enough for the time and effort they have both invested in my athletic development!
