Great outdoor playground and grassy field. The principal engages in the neighborhood. Schmitt had just put up LED signage in front of the school, and the principal knocked on our door and told us in advance that the screen was programmed so the lights would go out by sundown. Thoughtful gesture to check in with the neighbors.

I am relieved to see that a new principal will be leading the school for this next school year. While the DPS website scorecard reports only the 2013-2014 results the school is considered Accredited On Probation. It is my hope that those instructional scores are improving. I know that there are good teachers at Schmitt I know a few.

Good school, little brother attends here. Clean, nice grounds, (though it could go for more trimming), and nice community garden

They are amazing kind and gentle they are those people u always want in your life

I go there not great food but the teachers are nice if u get Lucky you dont get in trouble

They are great teachers. And very attentive to both the children and the parent
