The BEST Chinese school for learning traditional or simplified Mandarin. The teachers are incredible and there is a wonderful volunteering community and a rich Chinese cultural experience here. Our family has been coming to Chicago North Chinese School for 7+ years. We have a 6 year old in the traditional first grade class and a 14 year old in the advanced simplified and traditional class, which is catered towards English speakers. Both of our kids take the Chinese Yo Yo class and they love it; its so much fun to see them do tricks and perform on stage. Weve had many great experiences here and my kids are happy to be learning Chinese in a supportive and friendly environment.

We have been coming to this school for over 4 years. The people here are all professional and friendly. There are many families that you meet with various backgrounds. Many parents do not speak Chinese at home at all. Everyone is welcomed so the school encourage all ethnicities and levels.

This is a great community to learn Chinese language. The school offers both traditional Chinese and simplified Chinese. Kids have the opportunity to learn either traditional Chinese or simplified Chinese! They also have Chinese yoyo class!!! Kids love it!
