We absolutely LOVE Desoto Private School! This will be our daughters second year with the school and we could not be more thrilled with their educational program. We love their Summer Program and after school daycare; however, their academic strength is what has impressed us most. Our daughter has blossomed over the course of the last year, both socially and academically. The teachers and staff are extremely attentive, knowledgeable, and outgoing. It has been so rewarding to watch our daughter grow in confidence and intellect over the course of this last year. I know that by keeping her within this program, she will continue to flourish and will be well ahead of her peers when transitioning into middle school.

I have 2 children in the preschool department at DeSoto Private and they absolutely LOVE it! The teachers are amazing and care for each and every student like they were their own. My kids come home everyday telling me all the things that they have learned. I have several nieces who have gone through the program and they have all excelled academically. I love DPS!

I have went to that school my whole entire life, I even started before most kids my age and the staff of Desoto Private are like my family and I love them dearly. So in my honest opinion let your child go to that school, because you will always get that loving education that you want your child (s) to have

I absolutely love DPS I have been going there my whole life and I am graduating 6th grade this year I recommend you to let your children come to this school ✌🏾️!!

This school is amazing except for ONE TEACHER other than that classmates are good except beef and lil bit of bullies and school is Ah-mazing

I was a student at Desoto Private School and now both of my children go there. This school is up and above every other place I have looked at. The daycare is extremely convenient for working parents and my children have learned more than their friends at other schools. My children love to go to school everyday and there is always some new event or outing they get to do. This school goes up and above in every way both for preschool and school ages. I would suggest this to anyone looking for a great school with great teachers and a fun environment. I feel great knowing my children enjoy their day, but also are getting the best education around. My son is in the pre-k program and not only is he excelling but he loves it, the negative comment below in no way, shape, or form represents nor reflect the school/owners. To be honest; its made up- the teachers send home homework every week that include cutting, drawing, coloring, spelling, writing etc; so to say that your child could do none of those things after an entire year is puzzling and hard to believe. Also, the school is very clean & organized; its structured in a way that a person who is unfamiliar with the school would not be able to just walk in & go about. Most of the classrooms have an exit door which is great n cases of fire or anything like that. DPS has a nice summer program as well- I like it bc (its not summer school) but it still keeps the kids busy and on a schedule. Lastly, this school has a really cool aquarium/science lab that the kids/parents love, something my high school didnt even have! #ProudDPSParent

I went to DeSoto Private School when I was in pre-k and went through 4th grade. The teachers and staff at DeSoto Private are the reason I became a teacher. Now I am about to start my 3rd year of teaching at this amazing school. DeSoto Private doesnt just teach the students, but they encourage and inspire them to become great! It is amazing to see several former students of DeSoto Private come back to teach where they were inspired!

Im a hard working parent that wants her child to get a great education. And have the things I didnt have. I did not care for Desoto school district so I sent my child to Desoto private school. My child was in Pre-k to make a long story short. My child would come home every Fri with papers, artwork, and drawings etc. I was so proud of the work done. Well after a year I was laid off and, sent my child to Headstart of Greater Dallas. My child was tested by the teacher there and a contracted agency he did not know how to cut, draw, glue shapes, letters and numbers. They informed me they were very surprised with child coming from private school not knowing anything, but to scribble. The were done by the teacher there was not away my child did them. I know you might say I should have known. But, I was to busy working my but off to have my child there. I trusted my Childs education to them, however they did nothing but take my money and teach nothing. As much money as they get for tuition they seem to always be begging for something every week. Im so surprised when I pass by there to see they are still open. The teachers are lazy all ways sitting down. I would advise you dont send your child there they are only out to get your money. They are overpriced and Im so glad that my child is in Headstart and is learning everything they lied about my child learning. Im taking the time to write this review so parents can read a review from a persons child that went there. The Larsons really need to do a lot of restructuring. But, quite frankly I think they should close it. They changed a store front into a school, and it Is a very small old building. It smells like urine and is very crowed. The also make you buy uniforms from Southwest uniforms they are overprised and never have anything in stock. This is a honest review!!
