I been waiting since March to take my state exam it is almost may ....they never got back with me to take the state test and when I called them I called for weeks and when I finally got in touch they told me to call the gainsville location then when I did that they told me to talk to my instructor so when I did talk to the instructor they told me to call prometrics and prometrics said I would have to pay for the state exam when it was suppose to be included in the class .....I feel like I’ve been scammed out of $619 I still would like to take the state test

I registered for the CPR class here at the Destin location on their website a week prior. I didnt receive a confirmation email so I emailed the address on the website to confirm, but received no response. I also tried calling throughout the week, still no response. I showed up to the training site on the class date found on their website and theres no one here. So, when I called again someone actually answered and told me the class had been postponed and the email address on their website was incorrect...

I showed up for the class and no one was there. I and the other girl called the number on the door and it went straight to voicemail. hopefully this doesn’t happen to anyone else. I had to drive From 30 minutes away get a babysitter for my two year old.The lady did call and tell me she would make the four hour class into a one hour class but I had already headed back home at that point. She told me I had not appeared on her roster which is a problem with the Gainesville office. The lady, Michelle, did make it right. She gave me the class the next Saturday morning. If I take a class again, I’ll go straight through her instead of buying the class online because the money and information all goes to Gainesville

After reading some of the other reviews, I was a little apprehensive about taking the phlebotomy course. Im so glad I did, though! Kristi is a wonderful instructor and her class was very laid back and fun! If youre looking for a fast, fun and efficient way to become certified in phlebotomy, look no further!

I took the CNA course express training in Destin. My instructor Ree went above and beyond. She stayed after hours to allow us more time for the skills we were unsure of , always kept the place tidy ( goes a long way when preparing for skills ) , and made each and every one of us feel welcomed. Thank you so much express training for a wonderful instructor!!!!

I took the CNA class with Ree in Destin. At first I was really skeptical going into it because of it being a condensed class, I was worried I wouldnt be able to keep up. That was not the case however, Ree was an amazing instructor and was so patient with me and all the other students. We all took our time and went through all the exercises step by step making sure we had it down to the point. It was a very constructive and supporting atmosphere. Ree definitely knows what shes doing and I would 100% recommend this course.

I received my cna license from express there are not enough words to describe how amazing my teacher mrs Ramsey was. She is everything. The small classes make it so much easier to focus and learn. I am currently signed up for phlebotomy and I cannot wait! I recommend this to everyone interested in healthcare. Without a doubt the best place. 👍

At the Express Training Services school in Destin, the two main classes taught are the CNA and Phlebotomy Tech classes. , (Also have American Heart Assoc CPR and First Aid.) Both instructors are very professional and students come away prepared to tackle the licensing examination as well as inspired to work as a top-notch member of the healthcare industry! Students come away raving about the high caliber of the class and how much fun they had. These classes are far and above better and more affordable than any other in this area.

Complete and total joke of a business. 800$ for a crash course in phlebotomy only to sit there and hear the instructor complain about supplies and the way the book is set up. 15 students each paying 800$ but there being nearly no supplies makes you wonder where the money is going. Ive been trying for almost a week now also to find out when my certification exam will be only to find out at the very last minute hey its today at 5pm and the only reason I know that is because a very helpful man named Lester in Gainesville. I emailed bo Ramsey about the exam numerous times and never got a single thing back from her. Extremely unprofessional in my opinion. They also dont seem to understand that their students are adults whom have families and jobs, and cant just drop everything at a moments notice. Now, supplies. I ended up just bringing my own so I didnt have to hear the instructors complaints about how much of what I was using. Phlebotomy is part of the medical field, not the food service industry, therefore you use medical grade gloves, not food service. Needles were a constant complaint because there were virtually none. My grandmother and her friends from work supplied me with needles as well as the gloves and syringes so I could successfully complete my draws without getting hounded about supplies. The technique that the instructor uses is a joke. For the class youre required volunteers, of mine consisted 3 phlebotomists, 2 paramedics, 1 VA nurse that draws blood on a regular basis, 1 firefighter/EMT. Not one of them agreed with the techniques that we were taught. I was more successfull with my draws using the ways that my volunteers taught me vs those of the instructor. Its also very safe to say that the instructor got very irritated and quite... butt hurt that some of the other students preferred that my volunteers teach them and help them vs the instructor himself. All fine and dandy that the CNA class is apparently great but the phlebotomy is terrible. If there were another option in this area for certification I wouldve gladly taken it over this.

My granddaughter finished the phlebotomy course last week...I volunteered 3 times to be drawn and brought several other volunteers, mostly medical professionals who, like myself were appalled at the chaos, lack of supplies and inappropriate teaching methods for adult learners. I am a RN who has taught adults...you cannot treat them like children. The other students were coming to me and some the other vomunteers that i sent (phlebotomist, RN, paramedic) asking us for advice about their venipunctures. To top it off, my granddaughter was notified that the certification exam being offered today is being offered by appointment...the appointments made by the staff...and she is to take hers at 9PM tonight??? This very important exam offered late at night when this pregnant woman is exhausted and lives 75 minutes from the office and has a very early appt at the hospital tomorrow for an ON related medical test ??? She has attempted to contact the staff repeatedly requesting an earlier time with no call back, no email back and finally a thumbs up on text message??? Thumbs up is NOT a professional communication and does not answer the question of rescheduling the exam. Oh yes, and if ypu dont take the exam today, you have to wait until October! Buyer beware!! This course cost us $800, plus the book cost. Not very happy with this at all.
