Not recommended! Was like pulling teeth to get something scheduled for two 10 year old boys. Ended up being in a group of 8 people, most of them were high school age and the younger kids got less attention than the older kids! Thank goodness two dad’s stepped up to help because they couldn’t even get back out by themselves. Mike stayed with one teenage girl the majority of the time. Such a disappointment especially since our boys literally might have gotten 35 minutes of actual instruction. Not to mention that he charged $125 a child and was 30 minutes late to the lesson.

One week prior to coming to Destin with my family I reached out to All-A-Board to schedule a semi private lesson. He indicated to follow up with him when the trip got closer in order to look at the surf report. I had several contacts with Mike regarding scheduling the semi private lesson, phone calls and text messages. I continued to be told that he would get back to me only to be followed up by me reaching back out to him to confirm details of the lesson. On the day of the lesson I received no phone call or text, but when I reached out to him at the time of the lesson he indicated he was no unavailable. The entire trip was centered around the scheduling of the surf lesson due to knowing conditions and weather are important. Strongly advise against making any plans with All-A-Board.

Rented two surfboards when they closed, for 24 hours. Surfed for one hour, until my daughter got stung by a jellyfish. She wouldnt go back in, so I returned the boards within an hour of their opening the next morning. I asked if they would give any partial refund, as they boards were returned well in time for them to re-rent them and we obviously had a poor experience (granted not All-A-Boards fault). $160 to surf for an hour. A bummer for sure. Just hoped they would step up and consider our feelings. No refunds.

My family and I booked a group lesson and we had the best time! The instructor was so calm and patient with my young niece who started the lesson being scared of the water and now she LOVES it. We had a blast and I cannot wait to do it again the next time my family is in town.
