Mixology 101 is an awesome event; cant go wrong with learning while you drink. Sheka was a great instructor and made it very fun.

This glass was absolutely amazing the instructor explained everything to you in a way that you can understand it you have more than enough time to practice more than enough time to study all the equipment is clean classes are not crowded you get that one-on-one that you would need to secede I recommend this school to everyone seriously interested in a career in bartending or just if you want to learn for a hobby to entertain family and friends this is a must place to come 👍👍👍👍👍👍

I HIGHLY recommend Detroit Mixology Sheka(the instructor) was super sweet and made the class a lot of fun between jokes and music! Also the class is simple and she makes sure ALL your questions are answered along with each lesson, gave detailed instructions and tips to use in the real world. The price is great for everything you learn along with being accommodating to schedules!

Detroit Mixology Bartending School offered an amazing experience. Having worked 10 years in the industry, there was so much more to learn. The professionalism and training were on point at all times. Sheka Benson is very professional and an awesome instructor. Her method of instruction was student-centered. She served as coach and facilitator. She did an excellent job with sharing her knowledge of mixing drinks and being professional in any establishment. My experience with the school as well as with Sheka exceeded my expressions! I really got to learn the art of mixology & gained so many tools that I’m going to use to set me ahead in my future career as a professional bartender! The class was fun and the instructor knows her stuff. The class was 2 weeks with a week after for practice/testing and it was definitely worth the money.

This is the best school. I went to a different school a few years back and didn’t learn half of what i learned here-thus the reason I decided to visit after a friends high recommendation . Keisha and her staff were extremely knowledgeable, nice and even brought donuts in every Monday :) I would recommend this place to anybody interested in learning how to bartend!!

I actually went there for one of their mixology 101 class over the summer, I had so much fun that I had to go to another one. I just started the actual bartending classes to be certified. They are very professional and friendly

They are not licensed by the state Department of Education and are under investigation
