I started my Esthetics journey in May of this year and I could not be more happy that I chose this school. This school definitely has a family environment. Being surrounded by lovely ladies of color really empowered me and pushed me to achieve my goals. I just so happened to finish school a month early. I’m leaving with so much experience and knowledge. I definitely recommend this school for anyone looking to get a lot of hands on experience as well as a huge amount of support!

I’ve never written a google review before, but after my first visit to Dymond Designs Beauty School, I am compelled to write a review. The entire staff was very friendly and extremely customer-service oriented. I was blessed to have my hair done by the owner of the school, who did a beautiful job on my hair. She took her time to make sure I was happy with the results. I have a LOT of hair, and it has been difficult for me to find someone I am comfortable with. Thank you to Ms. Brooks and staff for making me feel so welcome and at ease. The prices are very reasonable and I want to tell everyone about this hidden gem of a school!

My journey started Nov.10 2020 I was so indecisive on selecting a beauty school to attend. I did some research on Dymond Design Beauty School and literally all the information I gathered from the web and Facebook was nothing but great reviews. But yet I was still reluctant. Until I prayed and received the confirmation I needed to move forward with my decision. Since then my life and thought process has changed for the best, God literally Aligned me to be around positive, uplifting Ladies that really wants to empower our whole Community. In just a few months I went from not having a clue about the direction I should take with my career. Now I’m a Licensed Esthetician, working out of my own studio. Every single day I’m so happy because, I’m doing what I love to do. All simply because I let go of my fear of failing and start walking in faith. Ms. Marlene and the whole staff at Dymond Design are truly Angels. Trust me if you decide to attend Dymond Design, you’re not gonna regret it. They will pull out the gifts that’s already placed inside of you.

I’m currently in the esthetics program and can I say Obsessed. I never liked/ or enjoyed school until I came here. I am currently 2 1/2 months into a 4 month program and I’m still in shock. Even when I had financial problems due to Covid, they still worked with me and Roxy told me “We will make sure you graduate”. Knowing the amount of support from the staff and teachers is what made me for the first time ever, not want to give up. The staff & teachers are amazing! Beautiful energy, always happy and smiling(even when you know their having a bad day), Motivational, intelligent, respectful, just down right amazing. It’s like a whole second family. Tried to book my daughter an appointment on a clinic Saturday and I was told only one stylist was there that day and no openings were available, so I asked could I book for the following Saturday she told me yes and told me what the available time slots I asked it’s a 1230 appointment was available she suggested 1pm for my daughter , and the day of there were no answers for me to confirm my appointment before I drove 15 miles to the location . So my mom who lived closer to the location went there to confirm the 1pm appointment and I was told it was put down and booked two weeks later. There was no accommodation whatsoever I was blew off with a I apologize there’s nothing I can do and now my daughter has an event and no one can do her hair because it’s too short of a notice to go somewhere else to book an appointment. I understand mistakes happen however my daughter appointment should have been accommodated for the extreme inconvenience it’s only one older lady for the most part that I have talked to that schedules the appointments. But she blew it off by saying that this is not my handwriting so I don’t know who booked this. And also she was making it seem as if it was my fault that I did not make sure the lady was putting the appt in the correct spot actual date from the lady ,like that would have made a difference we were talking about the following Saturday that was definitely confirmed verbally. I did not know I had to go to those extreme measures my information was taken down and the time was put down while I was on the phone I thought that was secure enough . The fact that we were sent on our way with a shrug shoulders attitude, is what really just didn’t sit well with me.

This school is phenomenal!! It has prepared me to be the best Esthetician I can! The owner is very involved and professional!! She demands the best out of her staff for each and every student. I would recommend the school to anyone!!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED my experience at this school! I am a recent Graduate of the Esthetics program. It was very informative and fulfilling. I feel like its more than a school, its a FAMILY and SUPPORT system as well. I Love Ms. Marlene and Mrs. Angela they wont let you fall by the wayside! ❤

I enjoyed being an esthetics student here especially during Covid 19. All safety precautions were taken seriously and the owner Marlene makes sure that students are taken care of and that the program runs smoothly. When I first found out about DDBS Roxy was the #1 person I was in contact with, she is very sweet and helpful.

I love my school I’m am so happy to be here. It’s so convenience I’m a mother of 7 an it fits to my schedule my children schedule my classmates are loving or teacher are great an hands on. We are all here to learn love an grow. It’s downtown free parking for students. I can’t wait to hit the floor because the stations are so beautiful. An we all so far have A’s I’ve had a 100 percent on every test an it because our teachers work with us the students work with each other we have study groups. I enjoy coming to learn all that there is to know about esthetic’s. I love my teachers and classmates. Everyone is eager to learn because they keep it fun and upbeat. The building is gorgeous and puts you in the mind that your already working in a upscale salon or spa. Highly recommend if your looking to further your beauty career.
