I took the beginning photography workshop with Executive Director Javi a couple of weeks ago and this weekend I took a Photoshop Intensive with Don Werthman at Darkroom Detroit. Both of the workshops were very informative. Many workshops do not go very deep into the material, and these actually taught information that I hadnt figured out on my own. I highly recommend Darkroom Detroit!!

The best place in Detroit to learn and practice photography. The facilities have everything you need, offer classes that you can check on their website, have a dark room that you rent at 12 USD an hour, includes everything you need, you just have to take your roll. Javi is super cool and very nice. It also has the digital photography part.
