All four of my children attended Monson-Sultana, and went on to each graduate from high school with honors and then college. Each of them will tell you that they received a great foundation for learning in their Kindergarten through 8th grade years here.The school was an early adopter of integrating technology tools into the curriculum, and has a 1.5 to 1 computer to student ratio across all grades. The music program may be the best K-8 program in the Central Valley; as all students have the opportunity to learn to read and sing a variety of musical genres beginning in kindergarten. Their 6-8 choirs have one numerous regional and state-wide awards and several students have qualified for national honor choirs.This little country school is getting it done!
